We chose this community for my step father because they offer lots of outdoor activities. They take the residents fishing and just have so many things to do outdoors in the community. There are lots of gazeboes and screened in areas to just sit, relax and have a snack. It is located on the inland waterway so you can sit outside and watch the boats go by, which provides my step father with beautiful views. The environment in the community is just so pleasant. They keep the residents pretty active and motivated. It's a really good community that caters to the residents needs. They are very on top of everything, even the smallest changes with the residents they notice and take the appropriate action. I am very satisfied knowing that they are on top of any and all issues. The staff provides great peace of mind.

This is the most heart wrenching decision you will have to make. I toured 10 different facilities! All 5 star facilities or so they said. Legacy Heights stood out from the beginning. When you walk in the front door, it just oozes cozy, warmth, safety, and home. I had a scheduled tour and then I "stopped" in for an unscheduled visit. They were exactly the same! I felt secure that LH would do as they promise in their tour. The tour was not a "fluff" scene, In total I was there for 2 1/2 hours. I stayed for 1 1/2 hours the first time and an hour the second time. I know my aunt is safe here. I KNOW it. She will be engaged and not sat in a room or a chair until the next med's are due, or meal is ready. She will addressed as a person and with compassion. This is the place for your family loved one too. This is as close to home as we can give them and keep them safe.

My Step-Mom has been at the Seasons for 6 months now. She was located at another residence which was also good, but her condition has deteriorated. The Seasons has been able to help her gain her weight back, walk without a walker or wheelchair an made her happier than ever. She has even been pulled off Hospice. I thoroughly enjoy all the staff members that take care of my step mom and know that they are truly blessed. All the residents seem to be happy and enjoying all their activities at the Seasons at Southpoint.

Very good staff and clean facilities. Think others should see for themselves rather than me recommend Myrtle Beach Manor. Everyone he's expectations are different.

The kindness of the staff is what made the biggest impression. We have had some disappointing interactions since Phoenix took over but that doesn't take away from the ORIGINAL people that we deal with.

My mom (and seems like everyone else) are dissatisfied with the food. That would prob be main complaint. I'm sure they have to keep things bland for specialized diets but it would be nice to maybe have a choice of tastier food for those that don't have to have low salt etc. The "in house" Dr (NP) only comes once a month — she's good with getting back to me when my mom has medical issue (UTI etc). I use patient portal — Opti Mantra — but it just takes longer sometimes to get medical care quickly (non emergency of course). [name removed] — med tech is really nice & helpful though. He just has to message her and like I said, it can be a slower process. Don't like not getting a real person on the phone if I call up there. My mom's not the best at keeping watch of her phone. They are awesome about keeping residents busy — parties, bingo, neuro activities. Seems to be a very positive place to be as employees all seem to have a great attitude. Facility is very clean. [name removed] in sales is great.

The staff are friendly and supportive and the community is outgoing and welcoming.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are very nice and they do a lot of activities for the residents there. Yes, we would recommend Seasons at Southpoint to other families

Great place just priced us out. I would recommend it, but be aware of the increase. I haven't been there since new ownership.

What stood out... The staff is friendly, seems to know and keep up with residents. Everyone is wiling to help and provide information. We especially think [name removed] is excellent as Activities Coordinator. The facility is clean and orderly. The residents appear happy and comfortable in the environment. Overall, very glad to have found The Bungalows at Springfield East.

[name removed], the admissions director, has been invaluable in making my mother’s transition to respite assisted living. She provided pertinent information about the facility and has been our point of contact when we had questions or hiccups. We have not completed a week in their care yet, so we do not have enough experience ce to provide further ratings.

One of the most attractive features is space. Residents are able to go out into garden, at will. The residents can walk all day or night on indoor track. Constant turnover of helpers makes it hard on residents. The residents become accustomed to workers and they become friends . When they move to other jobs. Adjustment to new workers trying to dress or toilet them often combative. Until residents get to know them.

The staff - very caring but do not check on patients often enough; food was above average; cleanliness - good to above average; size of room - excellent. I will say I would place another loved one there if needed. It's a really good facility.

Overall positive experience. Two places they need to improve on is communication and their menu process. I would definitely recommend.

The staff I've met as far as the medical assistants and med techs have been very nice. There was big miscommunication with marketing with some things and there's little to no communication with others. I've had to leave numerous messages to get anyone to return calls and as a matter of fact I left a message Tuesday for financial management and have yet to hear from anyone. Still haven't been able to get a portal created for payments. My dad's light in his place has been I've asked several times and it's been a month. Just been on the fence overall.

I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful and always very friendly. The apartment is a really nice size for a single person and easy to take care of and will laid out. Haven't had any experience with the food or dining or activities since I don't live there, I haven't really had a chance to find out about those, but they seem to be adequate for [name removed].

The experience has been mostly wonderful. My family member has an efficiency apartment (not sure what the bungalows calls it), which is a 19x19 foot room with a large walk-in closet (with shelves and hanging space) and a good sized bathroom (with a shower that has a built-in seat.). The room also has a mini refrigerator and a microwave, as well as an individual heating/cooling unit (like in some hotels). They provide cable, but you provide your own TV. They clean his room and do his laundry once a week. Each resident's laundry is done individually, so things don't get lost. I think the food is good. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner where the residents select their meals ahead of time. Plus they have an abbreviated menu that is available to any resident at any meal (like a hamburger, peanut butter and jelly, chicken salad, etc). The staff is very friendly and caring. They all call the residents (as well as regular family members) by name. The med techs not only dispense meds, but they notify me if he is refusing his meds. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about anyone who works there. They are happy to transport residents to doctor appointments. I wish there were more activities for men who like to work with their hands, although I'm sure it is hard to come up with activities for men with dementia who have had blue collar jobs their whole lives. After about two months, I would rate my experience with the Bungalows East a 4.5, and would recommend them to other families who need to place a relative or friend into assisted living.

It was very nice and nothing wrong. However, my sister and I found another assistant living place close to where my mother lives, in Houma. We were given a price on The Trace flyer information sheet but told a different price when we toured. It was a higher price than what I was given.

I have been a resident for almost two years, and I have appreciated the loving care of the staff. There is feeling of family between the residents and staff. The recent upgrading of the facilities (new flooring in the hall, and quality of life improvement) are much appreciated. I am blessed to call The Bungalows my home.

The Lafayette is such a welcoming community. It’s like a big family of residents and staff. It’s wonderfully located so that it’s near everything that matters to me, such as church, grocery stores and medical providers. There’s a little park outback where I can walk in nature when the weather is good. And I absolutely love my apartment which suits me perfectly. We have a residents council where we keep up on everything that’s going on and let management know our preferences. If you’re considering independent senior living, I would recommend you come to The Lafayette!
