This community was above what my loved one needed and not an apartment but more of a hospital like room. My loved one was not quite at that level of care. I liked what I saw and I liked the philosophy of the tour guide.

When I have a problem, it is solved. My wife has dementia, she has great care. The staff are great especially the front desk staff.

So far our loved one seems to be enjoying the meals and dining service, we have heard of no complaints as of yet. The activities are good, we think the value for cost is good and we would absolutely recommend this community to others.

This community looked very nice. It was a good experience but there was another community that we liked better.

The staff have been very caring and the residents have been very welcoming and friendly at this community. They have activities like bochi ball, bingo, trivia, work out classes, movies and more for the residents to do to stay busy. They also have bible study and church services for the residents. You name it and they pretty much have it.

I looked at about 7 different facilities and The Pearl was by far the best, I immediately knew this was the place. What stood out was they focused primarily on memory care. The other places I looked at it seemed like memory care was an after thought. The last 4 days my dad was alive is what impressed me the most. The care not just for my dad but for the family was unbelievable. They prayed over him and over us and they made it as beautiful as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about [name removed] the administrator, she went above and beyond. I would highly recommend The Pearl.

This community has very friendly staff and they were very convenient. The fact that I could go any time to see my loved one really made a difference for me. If I woke up in the middle of the night and did not feel right I could go see my loved one and this really made a difference for me.

We had a great tour experience with Sunrise of Ivey Ridge, but the room we saw was not the size we were looking for.

We chose The Phoenix at Union Hill because of the friendliness of the staff and the way we were treated. The facility itself is beautiful and we felt that it had a nice mix of independent and assisted living for our dad. The room sizes are beautiful and perfect for what he needs. We would definitely recommend to others looking.

I would recommend this community. The staff are fantastic at this community. They are very interested in my loved ones health and activities and always are clear with how she is doing and what all is going on.

I feel they go above and beyond, and the quality of care is exceptional. The communication is number 1 and the nurses and E.D. always communicate promptly and effectively. They have a very good reputation.

This community was a nice place but it was way to expensive. It was closer to my home but the cost was just too much. There were also no trees or anything around it due to it being so new.

My mother in law was actually a this facility 10 years ago and had a great experience. We did not choose them because they could not accommodate her needs. She smoked and they did not have a room on the first floor available that was far enough away. But we know it is a great facility.

In [date removed], my wife became a resident at The Pearl. Her medical needs and level of care required became greater than I could accomplish at home. Over the last 7 months, I have found that she has been exercising much more than at home and she has formed relationships with the other residents, none of which happened at home, even before her Parkinson's had progressed to the level it was when she became a resident.

My mom has been at the Pearl for about 18 months. My sisters and I are very happy with the care that she is getting. The staff cares so much for the residents and there are many activities each and every day. The staff is definitely a team that works together so well. I would absolutely recommend the Pearl!. I can't thank them enough for all they do each and every day for my mom.

We used A Place For Mom when we were looking for a place to put my mom. We toured several homes. but the Pearl is where Mom showed us she was happy, She was very relaxed and was content to go off with the staff and not need us around. She referred to it as her house and I can only contribute that to the loving and friendly staff. Everyone there did everything they could to make use feel at ease and confident in our decision. Leaving a love one to someone else's care is never easy but we know we were doing the right thing and leaving her at the best place around.

We moved my mom from an assisted living to The Pearl, a total memory care facility. I have been very impressed with the professionalism, the kindness, the outreach, and even the compassion. All of the staff has been over backwards to assist my mom and helping her to acclimate to her new home. It has been a very good experience all the way around.

We previously had my mother in a different popular local facility and not only was she completely miserable, I was concerned for her care and safety. Thank goodness we found The Pearl! It has been a great experience. The staff is VERY caring and my mom has very much enjoyed her experience. There have been little issues here and there, but I realize that caring for people with Dementia and Alzheimer's is a challenging responsibility. I also have a bit of a drive, but I don't think I could have found a better place! I'm a critical reviewer, but couldn't find any reason not to give 5 stars in every category.

My father has been at The Pearl at Five Forks for 4 years. This place is absolutely the most caring and loving community that anyone could ask for. All workers are kind and always do what is best for the people there. I am a Daddy's girl -- always have been -- and my siblings and I visited other places. The Pearl felt like home when we first walked in. Trust me -- I would not leave my precious Daddy there if it were not THE BEST. So clean -- food is great-- the care is unbelievable -- and the staff is excellent.
