We chose Summit Place of Mooresville because it was the closest to my house so I could walk there if I had to. They were also able to handle his diabetic needs as well. It is a smaller facility which we felt he would get more one on one attention and care. A lot of the staff has been here quite a while so they do not seem to have the turnover that most other facilities have right now. With the food they get choices for each of the 3 meals, if he does not like any choices on the menu, he can always select to have something off of the alternate menu. The meals are served on dishes with real silverware. He prefers to eat in his room and they bring it to him without any charge, it is always hot when he gets it. I would recommend them to others looking.

The meals and dining service sometimes can be a hit or a miss, but they do have different activities going on which our loved one has taken advantage of a few. The value for the money is good and we would recommend them to others based on the experience we have had so far. However they could make an improvement with the security of their apartments. Our loved one has had some serious trouble with the lock and handle on the apartment door. They are just not up to modern standards.

I can’t say enough about the Terrace! The process was so smooth with (name removed) guiding us through the paperwork, interview, moving etc. My mom has been there a year now. She is well loved by everyone and the activities director, (name removed) keeps her busy with amazing crafts and other activities! Wonderful staff from reception, aides to nurses. It brings our family peace knowing she is In a safe , loving environment!! We are grateful!

My father was a resident here and I would highly recommend this community. My loved one was completely against assisted living and he went from not wanting to be here to this being his goal and wanting to get to back to his friends as soon as possible. He made friends and liked being here. The staff were amazing and like family to me and my loved one.

After looking at about six facilities I decided on the Retreat at Lady’s Island. This proved to be one the best decisions I have ever made. The Retreat is maintained impeccably, the food is exceptional and most of all the staff is amazing. My wife is treated like family. Honestly, this place exceeded my wildest expectations. Don’t think I’ve ever been associated with or have known an organization with so many pleasant and competent people who genuinely love their work. God’s work.

Legacy Heights is the correct place for our loved one. There was a delay getting her moved in due to a wound that needed to be healed so we haven't experience much. However the head nurse came with us to every single important to get updates on how the wound was healing to see if they were able to get our loved one moved in to the community since they are not able to take a level 3 wound. The wound healed significantly and we were able to get our loved one moved in. They have exceptional services, and we are just blown away. They are very responsive and all the staff seem to be on the same page. The staff and residents are all super friendly.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. This is a clean, safe community for my loved one. The one complaint my loved one has in the food. It takes too long to get served and the food isn't tasty to them. The staff have been good to work with if we have questions or concerns. [Name removed] has been A+ and has been able to assist the residents with their technology concerns.

Send everybody here! They are phenomenal as far as cleanliness, and the staff members truly care. They pulled out a legitimate red carpet when my loved one moved in and had a sign up that said "Welcome." It was amazing to see the level of love and warmth they had - not just the staff but the people who lived there as well. They were really sweet, and you could tell they were really happy and well cared for. Everybody there just had the best demeanor.

Our experience has been really good so far, the staff and the care services are wonderful. They have the proper lift systems like a hoyer to assist our loved one when needed. The community is newer so it is beautiful, very nice and overall we would recommend to others.

This is a really nice community. Everyone was super nice and they try to get you involved in things and keep you up to date. It is not always the same activities they do a lot of different things. My loved ones conditions changed and she had to be relocated but I really wish she could have stayed for longer. The building is multiple stories but don't let you push you away this is still a great place.

One of the things I really liked about The Phoenix at Braselton was the fact that assisted living and independent living residents were together so it kind of brought life to the facility. The apartments are separate, but they still congregate in the same areas. The room sizes are excellent compared to other places that we were looking into. I would highly recommend the facility to others.

This community was wonderful. My loved one went here for rehabilitation. They kept me informed and always had daily updates. My loved one was great here.

The value for the money is great, I think it is a steal for what is provided. The facility has a bright and upbeat atmosphere which is what stuck out most to us during the tour. The best thing about this place is the director, she is the most energetic and engaging person. The staff love her, the residents love her, it all just comes back to how she runs things. I would 100 % recommend The Neighborhood of Somerset to others looking.

Our family had an in person tour and this community is very clean and very nice. The staff and residents we met were super friendly, but our loved ones level of care was so high that the community was almost to fancy. They had so many different and neat amenities and extra things, and we just did not think our loved one was going to be able to take advantage of all that.

We really enjoyed our tour with Bayport of Fort Walton Beach. The facility is brand new and beautiful. It was twice the price of another facility we were looking into which ultimately was why we did not choose them.

We were very pleased with this community. The staff were wonderful, the building was clean and they seemed to have excellent activities and we liked the rooms. We really like just about everything with the place. The only thing that made us hesitate was that the independent living was separated from the dining area. You had to go outside to get to the dining hall and my loved one wanted this to stay engaged and get out. They had a chapel room and my loved one liked this also. This was my loved one first choice but the location was just to far away from where we were.

i toured this community and thought it was nice. it just boiled down to distance; we chose another community because it was closer to family.

Coming from Pennsylvania and compared to other retirement communities, the value for the cost is good here. There are no activities at the moment due to Covid and the kitchen is understaffed. I don't blame the community for those things as they have been directly effected by the politicians in D.C. Despite those things, this place feels like home and a few people I know have moved in from my recommendation.

There was a recent price structure change. My loved one is very happy here and we are as well. We would recommend The Bungalows to others for their loved ones. The meals have been good and I've been happy with the meals I've had and it was better that expected. My loved one has enjoyed every meal so far. There was a new renovation of flooring, painting, and dining room furniture.

The community is extremely clean and the staff members here are very friendly. This is a good community for assisted living and memory care we would highly recommend for that level of care - but this is not a skilled nursing facility they do not have it here.
