Going on week three with this amazing community and I’m still in awe at how wonderful this transition has been for my Dad. He is thriving like I haven’t seen in a long time. The compassion that the staff provides is beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. He loves his apartment, the awesome staff, their fun activities, delicious meals, and receiving his medication on time along with physical therapy. This community feels like home and when I’m away, I know my Dad is in good hands.

We are very happy that our parents are in this beautiful facility. They are well cared for and the staff are all very kind. The property looks like a resort with the pool and outdoor spaces. The activity schedule is amazing. They have something on the calendar for everyone. The bus service they offer for church, grocery store, Walmart, etc. is an added bonus. We could not be more pleased!

We are a 5 on everything. We love The Phoenix at Lake Lanier community, the people and the service. We could not of picked a better place for our mother. Thanks

5 stars for all except the last two - It is very expensive and there are not many activities or many people in general around. My dad said that he loved the staff and thought they were just fantastic. I live in another state so didn't get to observe anything myself. He also raved about the food. They cook everything from scratch there. He was here for respite and the minimum stay for that was 2 weeks at a time a believe. At the end they worked with us on a day by day basis so I didn't have to pay another 2 weeks.

All 5 stars. Staff and residents at The Phoenix at Lake Joy are all very friendly and compassionate. The location of the facility is also great! I would recommend The Phoenix at Lake Joy to those looking. It is a wonderful community.

My loved one is a resident at The Bungalows at Chesterfield Village and has adjusted well. This facility is really a wonderful place. It couldn't be better, all areas are great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The staff has been very friendly to me and they address all my concerns. [name removed] has been absolutely wonderful to deal with. Anytime I need to address an issue or have a question, she has great compassion and works hard to resolve my mom's needs. She even came in on her day off to talk to me. The nurse [name removed] and her helper [name removed] are very sweet and helpful, and they help my mom anytime she doesn't feel well. [name removed], the activity director, and her assistant, [name removed], are wonderful, and they allow me to participate in the activities with my mom. [name removed] and [name removed], the concierges are helpful with questions and knowing where I can find my mom when she's not in her room. [name removed], the maintenance man, is also so helpful in fixing anything that is not working correctly in my mom's room. [name removed] that transports the residents to outings and such is very nice also. There are so many wonderful, happy, friendly people there that I wish I could mention all their names, but I haven't had the chance to get their names yet. I would definitely recommend The Bunagalows of Chesterfield Village!!!

When it comes to the meals and dining they could be improved - there is too much chicken and not enough beef or pork. For the activities they have different things including bingo and team trivia games. We would recommend the Morningside of Vestavia Hills to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

I am impressed with the care given to my mother. The staff is considerate and friendly, and will work with you in setting up the room(s). They even assembled the bed (for a very small fee) when it was delivered. I have already recommended The Phoenix to a friend. His mother-in-law may have to move to assisted living. He is looking at possibly placing her there.

It's a good fit for my sister and she likes it. They are well staffed and keep a close watch on residents and my sister hasn't fallen in 2 1/2 months. No ER visits due to falls. It costs more but it's been worth it. It's more pricey than many of the places I'm familiar with ,but they have more staff available. The activities director especially is great! I know just how hard it is to find a place for a loved one to live with enough supervision to keep them involved in activities manage their meds and make sure they have not fallen. The Phoenix checks on residents every 2 hrs 24/7. I would definitely recommend The Phoenix and Lake Lanier and so would my sister.

Great experience, I would recommend the place. We picked this community for our loved one , because of the price, friendliness, cleanses, and they were able to answer all my questions.

My wife had been in two other memory care facilities before she came to The Pearl at Watkins Center. The first place had terrible food, no activities and lacked any sort of medical/health care. The second place was better but failed to administer her medications, which resulted in behavioral problems. They then required $7000 a month extra for someone to monitor her. The Pearl solved these problems with medication. The staff has been excellent. They have a number of activities for their residents. My wife once suggested to me that I leave early so she could be involved. They have accommodated her most outlandish beliefs and requests. Unlike her previous facilities, most of the residents there are capable of some communication so she can talk to them at meals. Every staff member speaks to her by name, and she now knows their names as well.

Mom is so happy and content with her new place. The facility is in a great location. Right in the middle of a busy commercial and residential area with easy close shopping and restaurants. The community sits back off the road with a large front area with a large front porch with rocking chairs. Feels like it's in the countryside; no road noise. The residents are always enjoying the front porch. So close to everything you might need but feels like the countryside. The staff is beyond wonderful. They are so good to the residents and families!

Sunrise at Ivey Ridge is an awesome place, and a great option for memory care! The staff are very attentive. And the residents seem happy living there.

The Retreat at Conyers has been great. [name removed] makes the world go around here. If you can afford the financials, you and your family will be assured of security, comfort and style of living. Once you go Retreat, it can't be beat.

The staff is very caring and extremely responsive . They communicate often and make sure the resident has all the medical support they need.

We visit a friend of many years at the Bungalows. This place just blows us away everytime we visit. The building is very clean and always smells great. The people there are very friendly and it seems like a big happy family. Me and my wife have even talked about oneday moving there. Our good friend and her family love it there. The outdoor spaces they have is beautifully decorated and makes you feel very peaceful. They have flowers everywhere. They do a great job of making it feel like a HOME instead of a nursing facility. We don't know the workers by name but they have good ones. The lady at the front is very friendly, the maintenance man is very nice and is always helping people. The residents seem to always be having fun. Keep it up Bungalows.

Everyone very friendly on the Phoenix tour and saw lots more activities going on. We loved that place. Would have picked them but only room available was a studio. We wanted a one bedroom. And especially after she went on hospice the two separate rooms was really nice to have with visitors.

Our family had an in person tour with The Bungalows and the food looked really good here. And the tour was very good. We could not move here because she needed some additional assistance than that community provided.

I really don't have any complaints about anything at the pearl. I just wish it wasn't so expensive to keep our family in a nice place. They place volleyball a lot and the residents get to have their nails painted. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend The Pearl to other families. Thank God for Hospice, or it would be closer to [fee removed] a month. Everyone, there is very very nice, very helpful, but it just went up to [fee removed] a month.
