We have cared for my mother in our home for 14 months. Although we love her dearly, we have realized she needed more care than we could provide. We researched several places in our area and the staff and facility at Lakeview Estates has made our transition so uncomplicated and easy. My mother comments constantly about how nice and helpful everyone is. The facility is clean and smell so nice when you walk around. Our goal was for her to be comfortable and be well cared for. This goal has been met! She has already made friends.

We were really impressed with Legacy Heights. The place felt so homey and welcoming. [name removed] and the staff were super friendly and the residents were making beautiful flower arrangements in their activity room. We especially loved the variety of activities they had going on. The menu looked very well thought out too. And we really liked the smaller dining rooms rather than one large cafeteria. We felt our Dad would definitely be happy there.

They really cared for Mom , they handled minor issues like a scratch or first aid without sending her to the emergency room. Her first facility was constantly sending her for minor injuries. The director loved Mom & did all she could to get mom to eat and drink especially before she died. [date removed] mom got up, asked to eat and drink & go outside. Her last time was that day. The director sent me a picture of Mom & thought mom might be getting better. That night & next she became unresponsive even as my daughter & me visited her. Later that evening she had a gastric bleed & aspirated. Hospice took forever to get there. They called for an ambulance. Hospice came as she was leaving the facility & thought mom should not go. The med tech overruled her & sent mom on. She notified me & my sister that they were taking her to the hospital. She went to a hospice facility in kings mountain & died on [date removed]. Hospice facility was wonderful throughout the night.

My brother had a great experience at the Bungalow & they quickly transitioned him to going home.., getting him out of Mercy Hospital was the best thing we ever did.., it was expensive to do because the VA didn't pay but it was well worth the cost & probably saved my brother's life...

Our tour of Legacy Heights left us incredibly impressed with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the evident dedication of the staff to each resident's well-being. The spacious, well-maintained apartments, diverse activity calendar, and delicious meal options clearly prioritize both comfort and engagement. We particularly appreciated the friendly interactions with current residents and the staff's clear understanding of our loved one's specific needs, making us confident this would be a wonderful new home for our mother.

The staff is wonderful. My father is safe! Yes, we would recommend this community to other families!

I use to volunteer at the Bungalows about once a month. It is a great little community with lots to offer. The activities department does a lot with the residents. They always have something going on. The food is great and the dining room is really pretty. The rooms are set up nicely and there is lots of room for storage and things like that. It has an absolutely beautiful court yard and it's very well kept. There's pretty flowers that the residents tend to and there is plenty of places to sit. There's pretty flowers is a big magnolia tree in the middle of it. When it blooms it is very nice. The people seem very happy. I loved it when they would gather around the piano and one would play and some would sing! I would recommend the Bungalows to anyone looking for a retirement community that is active and dedicated to the people who live there!

Oaks at Maple Ridge came recommended to me. It is in a great location and I like that it is a Christian association. I know my mom really brags about [name removed] (I believe is her name) she cleans her room. And that the staff is accommodating about her dirty laundry. All staff are very friendly.

From the very first day of the walkthrough to the moment my mother was accepted into the facility, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. Stacey, who works in the front office, was absolutely incredible. Her kind heart and vibrant energy set the tone for our entire experience. She went out of her way to ensure that the process was seamless and stress-free for our family. The facility itself is not only beautiful but also impeccably maintained, with a welcoming and comforting atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond in every aspect—whether it's providing exceptional day-to-day care, addressing my mother’s health needs, or simply taking the time to engage in heartfelt conversations with her. Knowing that my mother is in a place where she is safe, engaged, and genuinely cared for brings our family an immense sense of relief. I cannot recommend this assisted living facility highly enough to anyone seeking a compassionate and supportive environment for their loved one. It

When it comes to the activities and value for cost - that is to new to evaluate. However, what I like the most about The Terrace's is that they have quality cottages, I feel like I did when I was at my home, staff doesn't come around telling you what your u can or cannot do. Most of all it is very quiet and peaceful, and clean.

My father is comfortable at the Retreat in Jasper. The staff take good care of him. I have a 4 for administration because there has been turnover since he moved in. Overall, it's a good place and I recommend it.

I don't have a good baseline for value for cost however, we love [name removed] the director. She is why we are there- she is kind, patient, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. Yes, we would recommend Morningside to other families! We would not have made it through [name removed] transition without [name removed] and her team.

My only concern is that their prices have gone up every year that my relative has been there. However, Yes, I'd recommend a Bungalows to anyone. The staff has been very nice and informed me if there's ever been an issue with my relative. They do a good job keeping the residents active. The facility has always been very clean and well maintained. According to my family member, the food is also good. Other than the price concern I have no issues with the facility and personnel.

The staff is wonderful. They are very attentive to the residents. Walking in, it has a great feeling. Very bright and cozy

My father moved in to the Bungalows in Bowling Green about six months ago. He was grumpy and made it very clear. He did not want to be there. It took him a little while to come out of his room and explore his new environment. Now he participates in activities,and even watches movies with his new friends in the livingroom. Before now he only watched the news and a few day time court shows! His depression is under control and loneliness is gone. He genuinely likes being there and likes his neighbors. The activities keep his mind busy. The food is good and the building is really pretty! The staff are really great too. They really seem to care about the people and that means a lot! They have party's and recently held a Fall Festival for the residents. They had ponys, food trucks, and bouncy houses for kids. The residents were outside interacting and it really was wonderful!

I loved Phoenix for my dad but unfortunately he passed away about a year ago. 5 for all. Loved it in every way. It was like one big happy family. The staff honestly cared for their residents and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

I had my mom someplace else for over a year so I had a good comparison. They excelled enormously over the previous place I had her. And in addition to them having better care they were also less expensive as well. Now my mom breaks even every month instead of losing money every month. So it was a win-win better care and less expensive. Also I have a wonderful relationship with the staff. Whereas at her old place the staff was constantly changing and I always felt they were placating me as opposed to actually being concerned about my mom.

What a lovely place to live. From the birds to the food to activities. The staff really cares about their memory care residents. Great location in Dallas. Easy to get to. Managed by Phoenix living which is a great company and they have beautiful living spaces in all of NWGA.

Overall it's a nice place. The facilities have not been kept up like it should have been, but they do have a new maintenance lead now. Hopefully that will help. Most of the staff are very courteous and friendly, and do a great job. In my opinion, the administrator is not a great manager. I managed people for over 30 years, and this administrator leaves a lot to be desired.
