We've had a good experience here. The staff is very friendly to my family member. They've answered any questions that we've had. Food is the one area that's more of a challenge. She tells me it's good, but it's kind of bland. They've also had some staffing issues, but I know they're trying hard to get through it as best they can. They offer a lot of activities - happy hour on Fridays with live singing, snacks, a little bit of wine. Bingo, daily health and exercise activities, groups that play dominos and cards. They have a swimming pool there if you want to go. It's expensive, but a good value overall, and a safe place.

It is a little pricey but we do believe they are right where other communities are at. The staff members are wonderful, the care is efficient and they are quick on their feet. Our father says when it comes to the meals they almost feed you to much, and I have had a couple of meals there and the cooks are very good. Within the facility they have a lot of activities for the residents to do, and they are just now starting to get back to going out on outings.

I would refer people to The Oaks. The location is wonderful. The community is beautiful. The staff is great at working with our family.

We do think it is pretty expensive for everything they have to offer, but overall our experience has been good so far. They are not allowing families to come inside and eat the meals with their families yet, but our loved one does say the food is great.

My mom has done a complete 180 since being here at North Point Village, she has changed all for the better. It has been a good experience and I would recommend them to other families who are looking.

We have had a unique experience. We had to make a quick decision, based on a virtual tour during Covid. Since our loved one has moved in, they have undergone an almost complete staff turnover in their management. We had some serious issues in the very beginning with some miscommunications. It was shortly after that that the executive director left. Then not too much longer after that, the director of health and wellness left. Then the facilities director left, followed by the activities director, the concierge, and the person in charge of finance. I'm not sure of the circumstances regarding how they all left. But they have a whole new crew now as of 2-3 weeks ago, so it's really hard to tell how things will go. We've had extensive conversations with the new executive director, who had been on the job for just a week. But she was very impressive. It appears that the care that our loved one was getting was good to start with, except for a terrible event that happened on her first day. But it was fixed immediately as soon as I was able to reach someone on the regional level, which was a good thing. The big freeze happened in the middle of all of these changes, and I felt like people were doing a good job with what they had. But the old executive director really screwed something up. It was fixed within a matter of hours, so no irreparable harm was done. I have been impressed with the regional office, because they saw the problems and stepped right up to take care of business. And they had regional people fill in until they could make new hires. I feel confident based on what I've seen that the people that they've hired are going to do a good job. We'll see how it goes.

We did a virtual tour with the community. The tour was ok, I don't really like virtual tours. It was informative but didn't fit our needs.

The staffing is low and they could use more staff. This maybe due to the pandemic. The staff member and my loved one have issues at least once a week. The community says they give the medication to my loved one; however, they aren't receiving it via this specific staff member. One night it took the staff an hour and a half to respond to a call button request from my loved one.

We toured Ridgmar Place and I really liked it and I thought that they did a great job with the tour itself, but my mom just did not feel comfortable here.

No exercise facility. Transport to Doctors appointments scheduled on Wednesdays, but doctors come to facility as well as podiatrist. Limited outdoor facilities.

Overall we've had a really good experience. The people are very friendly and very helpful . They seem to really care. This is a little thing, but it's a big thing in a community like this - there was consistency with the staff. Over the year my loved one has been there, it's the same people at the front desk. We see the same friendly faces. They know my name when I walk in. It kind of has a family feel to it. There's always going to be a few things that aren't perfect, because you're dealing with people. But I think they do a really good job.

The care services have gotten a lot better and the activities are slowly starting to come back they now have live entertainments. We do think the value for cost is good and we would recommend the community to others.

We toured this community and all of their residence were out and about and that concerned me with covid. The atmosphere was not very upbeat and it really didn't fit our needs.

We chose Legacy at South Plains because of the convenience to family members and it was a newer facility. The lady who was showing us around was really excellent, but she is no longer there she answered all our questions. They have been really good with communication. They have had a lot of turnover in staff during our time here. It has been a very difficult year so I am not sure hat it looks like outside of all the covid restrictions but I would recommend them more for assisted living.

The community is very clean and nice. They have transportation and a recommended Dr. The call time between when my loved one hits the call button and some arrive can be longer than I like. I would recommend this community to others

Our loved one always really enjoyed the meals they provided, and we did think that value was pretty reasonable. We would recommend this community to others.

We chose Glenwood Village at the time because of their presentation and their marketing director was and is very attentive and friendly. They also were able to provide transportation and they were very responsive at the time. Their covid policies and procedures have been good and they have been able to keep it under control. They have had a complete change of staff in the last 3 months so there is a lot of turnover and the changes have been very difficult. I think they are really trying to evolve into something better, but at this point I am on the fence about recommending them.

Nice, clean place. I met with the Nurse Manager and the Director who were very welcoming and reassuring. There were a few residents milling about and the staff was interacting with them. The studio rooms were too small but the one-bedroom was nice and would definitely work. I really liked the different levels of care they provide and they really stressed aging in place. That is going to be a huge factor in our decision. Really, the only downside is it's 22 min drive from my house at 2:30 in the afternoon. Once it hits 4 or 5 that turns into a 40 min drive. Doing that every day would get old real quick. We're going to look closer but I will keep this at the top of the list for sure.

The short time that my mom was here we had a great experience. We did not have a lot of access to things because of the virus, but they were attentive and very well staffed. We were happy with the level of care that she received. They were always very good with communication and letting us know what was going on.
