Overall the staff looks happy. The regular weekly staff is happy, but the weekend staff seems to be new or less skilled. It seems like any issues and breakdowns in communication we've had tend to happen on weekends and holidays. In memory care, the double rooms are not too good. The way they're structured, one person has a room with the bathroom, and the other person has to come into their room to use the bathroom, which causes conflict. We're on a waiting list for a single, which looks much better. I like the person in charge of the activities. She's a great communication contact. And there are a lot of positive people. But we're still adjusting and deciding. It's hard to tell with Covid - many of our issues have been during lockdown periods.

It's a beautiful facility. The rooms are very nice. They seem to be short-staffed at times, but the staff they do have there are fine. There's always room for improvement, but I think they're doing a good job overall.

Compared to other communities this is excellent. Very good value for what is spent and the staff are amazing and communicate well. They have activities like live music, library and arts and crafts for the residents to do. It is hard to find enough staff but this is something that everyone is going through. They also have a lot of renovations going on now.

Our family had an in person tour, and it was a good surface tour but we really didn't dive deep into the community because it was just out of our price range.

Nice place that has been very helpful with my loved one. The community has a lot of activities however, my loved one does not participate. The staff are always friendly with me and also with my loved one.

Ridgmar Place was multi-layered and just too spread out. They don't serve meals seven days a week. On Saturdays and Sundays, they do serve breakfast, but lunch is just a boxed lunch, and there are no dinners. The bedrooms were too small for medical beds. And we felt their pricing was on the expensive side. It was still a nice community. It just didn't fit enough of our search criteria.

Our family had an in person tour and Evergreen Place is a beautiful facility. It felt more homey and not institutional, but because of the covid restrictions we were limited on who we could talk to and interact with. However, they did show us the entire community and cleaned out some model rooms for us to see. They had a lot of services, there is a hospital right next door so a lot of convenient service but the price was just way to expensive.

I thought The Farrington at Tanglewood was a very nice place run by a very capable woman. It was a little far form where I lived. And the rooms themselves were very small and older. But they seemed to do very well with activities and engaging people with mental challenges.

During our tour everyone was very friendly and the place itself was nice. We decided against this facility just because they only offer 2 meals a day and it is breakfast and lunch. My friend is not always up for breakfast so that would not have worked. In my opinion it would work better if it was lunch and dinner provided for the 2 meals.

This was definitely the nicest facility that we toured, but it was that much more expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff seem to keep an eye on the residents. The food isn't really good. Sometimes the food is cooked tough. The staff are good and responsive to questions I may have. Some of the activities offered are virtual bowling, music, church services, and more for the residents to choose from.

This is a nice facility and the cheapest in my area. I feel like they may be understaffed. The staff that are there the women seem to be fine. My loved one did have a situation where a male staff member was too ruff but other than that things have been smooth.

This is much nicer atmosphere and the residents aren't sitting in the hallways. The community feels like family. The staff are really good at communicating with the family with any questions or concerns. They are caring and efficient as well.

This is a wonderful place to live. The staff are eager to help in anyway they can such as the dining room. They even know the residents by name. The community is trying to work with the residents on improving the food. Everyone enjoys the activities, such as dinner or lunch out, field trips, and more.

We had an in person tour schedule, but by the time our appointment arrived we were deciding to possibly go with another community. When we spoke with the marketing team about the other community they seemed to really take a negative attitude towards us and brush us off

Our loved one was not there long, but Legacy did a wonderful job. They were very nice, accommodating and our loved one was well taken care of. Even after our loved once passing they were wonderful and we really appreciated that.

A decision like this and the transition to a facility like this is never easy for the families or the potential resident. But in my experience with the people at Town Village Crossing, they are all very caring, and they seem to understand the difficulty families have in making that decision. They've gone out of our way to make us feel comfortable. I never felt like they were pushy or trying to sell us anything, although I recognize their is a sales aspect to it. Obviously they want you to settle there vs. elsewhere. But I felt like what they wanted most was what was in the best interest of our loved one, even if that meant a different community for him. They seemed truly interested in our best interest over their own.

I would tell others that the community does a great job at keeping my loved one going. We were eventually able to see our loved one after COVID protocols were lifted. My loved one is thriving in the assisted living unit. I would recommend the community to others, and it is clean. The community works well with hospice. There is bingo, puzzles, and more available as activities for the residents.

Make sure you get your care plan in place, with specifics, on a written copy right away, and then update it every three months. The problem is there's no director or head nurse right now. Things were fine before that. But the head staff keeps changing. The everyday care staff are wonderful. They're all great, it's just the administration that's the issue. My loved one loves the food, and the facility itself and rooms are very nice. They have really nice tall and low windows which are great to sit beside and look outside. Other places don't have that, and the windows alone were worth moving our loved one there.
