We did really like the staff though and the gal who gave the tour was awesome. This was our 2nd choice out of the many facilities that we looked at, the location was just a bit too far for family.

This place is nice but it's not for Asian nor Vegetarian. That's why my aunt has a hard time with the foods they serve. I understand that she maybe one of the only ones, so they don't put efforts in to create decent vegetarian meals for her.

The residents and staff have been, and are, very friendly and welcoming. Some of the remodeling being done is crazy. They don't seem to finish one project before starting another. Corporate makes decisions with no input from local residents. Local staff are really trying to make this pleasant for residents!

We had a great tour experience with The Landing at Queensbury, we loved everything that we were shown about the place. They gave us a really good tour and the staff were great with their information they gave us and follow up after the fact. Unfortunately they did not have any availability for respite in the time frame that we were looking in.

I toured Glenwood Village of Overland Park and I noticed that they had a lot of carpet and the rooms were on the second floor. I didn't care for that because my loved one would have to take the elevator to get to his room, the dining room, etc.. All the rooms were carpeted with no choice of preferred flooring. The showers also weren't as accessible as the community we chose.

We were on the verge of leasing one of the 2 bedroom apartments here. We were pressured because someone else was looking into them as well and we were told we had to make a decision quickly and we just were not ready yet. One thing I did not like was that they keep independent living residents and assisted living residents completely separate. My mom is on the line between the two and I would have liked to see them be able to interact together more.
