This place is nice but it's not for Asian nor Vegetarian. That's why my aunt has a hard time with the foods they serve. I understand that she maybe one of the only ones, so they don't put efforts in to create decent vegetarian meals for her.

It was great as well. Not as personal but very friendly. The community was a bit nicer.

The residents and staff have been, and are, very friendly and welcoming. Some of the remodeling being done is crazy. They don't seem to finish one project before starting another. Corporate makes decisions with no input from local residents. Local staff are really trying to make this pleasant for residents!

Anytime you talk to a staff member they give you their complete attention and will try to solve your issue immediately-and you feel it is a priority.

Nice facility. Memory care unit was very new and wasn't fully open.

Need to review staffing. Dining and kitchen food supply. Review security at night time and noise at night.

I love living here.

So friendly both staff and residents. Clean and upkept all over. Beautiful yard with green grass, trees, and a nice patio.

Everyone is friendly and courteous. I get very good care from the care givers. I like that this is a smaller place. I was in a larger place before and this is better.

We had a great tour experience with The Landing at Queensbury, we loved everything that we were shown about the place. They gave us a really good tour and the staff were great with their information they gave us and follow up after the fact. Unfortunately they did not have any availability for respite in the time frame that we were looking in.

This was a good community with nice staff. They recently remodeled the community and it is an older building.

I toured Glenwood Village of Overland Park and I noticed that they had a lot of carpet and the rooms were on the second floor. I didn't care for that because my loved one would have to take the elevator to get to his room, the dining room, etc.. All the rooms were carpeted with no choice of preferred flooring. The showers also weren't as accessible as the community we chose.

I give high praise to North Point Village for making this change work for our loved one and for our family.

We were on the verge of leasing one of the 2 bedroom apartments here. We were pressured because someone else was looking into them as well and we were told we had to make a decision quickly and we just were not ready yet. One thing I did not like was that they keep independent living residents and assisted living residents completely separate. My mom is on the line between the two and I would have liked to see them be able to interact together more.

The Legacy at Santa Fe is a beautiful facility. They have the latest upgrade in technology for the monitoring of residents. They have wristbands to unlock residents doors, so you don't have to carry around a beeper and/or key. It's all integrated into one system that looks like a wrist watch, and is the best I've seen across communities. The challenge with The Legacy is over promising and underdelivering, in terms of care and activities. There's a number of challenges within their medication management. Luckily my mom is cognitively okay and can engage with the staff if something is wrong with her medications or if something was missed. That's a bit concerning, however they are responsive when I present my concerns to them. Also the ability to keep up on bathing and assistance has been a challenge to get done twice a week as agreed upon. I do realize people are gearing up past Covid. They promised us in February/March that things were "gearing up" back then. They have done more outings, but the real challenge is the lack of day to day activities on-site. The last place my mom lived had lots more games and resident activities, like bingo, drumming, etc. The Legacy has much less of that. They are struggling to deliver interaction between the residents on a consistent basis. They do have offerings, but its just things like virtual tours. My mom personally likes card & board games, and all they really have is bingo. So compared to the last place my mom is frustrated in that regard. If a prospective resident is looking for things that engage their brain, it doesn't seem to be happening right now. I have expressed concern, and have also done so in writing which did seem to get their attention. They seem committed to solving this issue. I do think they're trying, but not delivering to my expectations with the price point and past promises. It's also important to note that they charge a pet fee of [price removed] / per month, which they don't talk about. So that was surprising to us, as it wasn't on the list. That's a much higher pet fee than other locations. The pet fee at her last place was only [price removed].

The food that is provided is fancier than what my parents are accustomed to. The selection of activities that are provided is nothing that my parents would want to do.

We did not stay here very long but overall it was a good experience, we may be back in the future.

The Havens have wonderful staff that goes above and beyond. They are extremely short staffed so the employees are working extra hard. The staff has TRUE connections with the residents. They make the effort to give tailored care. The downfall of the Havens is the quality and variety of food has diminished over the past year. Once the new owners took over, there was a noticeable decline in the quality of the kitchen production. There has also been a decline in activities because of the lack of proper staffing. Activities and events are canceled frequently. With all of that being said, the staff and their genuinely caring nature make any negative aspect manageable. The staff TRULY MAKE LIFE BETTER!!!
