We have been very pleased so far with The Renaissance community. The staff members have been great. According to our loved one the meals are pretty good most of the time - now they have been doing a lot of renovations so the meals occasionally had to be delivered to the room but any problems that were associated with that we believe now are fixed. Our loved one says it is a great place and she is very happy with all the different activities. The activities director tries really hard to get them all to participate.

I like everything. I like that my place feels like home. I definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

I enjoy living here because everyone is so friendly and helpful. I especially like the idea I don't have to cook or wash dishes. I even have someone to come in and adjust my TV when I need it.

Magnolia Place has so much to offer, in terms of well maintained facilities, spacious design, a full range of activities and comprehensive health and wellness programs. But that only happens with careful staffing and thoughtful management, and they have both! The integrity shows.

In 2018 I moved to The Oaks bringing my Maltese named [name removed]. My walking is limited and the staff takes [name removed] out walking regularly. We have many dining options. The choices work for me! All the staff knows my names, likes and needs. Our Activities Directors keeps us moving, remembering, planning, and helping others.

ONCE I ADJUSTED TO A NEW WAY OF LIVING, I NOW FEEL ALL OF MY NEEDS ARE TAKEN CARE OF. IT IS LIKE BEING IN A CACOON.

When i was looking for a place to live, not just stay at, the people at the communities and atmosphere were my most important criteria. First thing I heard when I walked in was laughter. I wasn't wrong, it's been 4 years and the laughter continues.

Our mom has been there for six months, and we have never seen any shenanigans going on. Only teamwork and concern for the residents. Heaven must be missing some angels. They are working at Whispering Winds of Apple Valley. The staff really care, and it shows.

Aside from a few billing issues, everything else has been top shelf. My mom loves the staff. They were very helpful getting her in the door and helping her make the transition to senior living. They've been very adept at working with her. Her apartment is kind of small , but it's pretty sweet all things considered - I'm kind of jealous! She has covered, locked storage for her car. I hear zero complaints from her, and she's the type of person who would most certainly let me know if she had any.

We looked at other facilities and my mom liked Town Village of Leawood the best. I think that they just do an all around great job. I would recommend them to others looking for independent living.

We went with The Renaissance of Florence because they had a hair salon which was very important to my mom. Also I knew someone who worked there that I grew up with and so she felt comfortable knowing someone already. They just remodeled the facility and it is absolutely beautiful. She loved the food that they served as well. We really wish that she would have been able to spend more time here. I would absolutely recommend to others .

We searched and visited well over a dozen senior communities looking for the right place to place my dad in memory care, and we were immediately impressed by both the staff and community. We had an extremely difficult (though not unusual) initial transition, but it very quickly became a joy to see how everyone on the staff helped him feel comfortable and appreciated. Everyone we've worked with, from the top on down, has been exceptionally and genuinely caring, honest, and helpful. What could have been a very unpleasant experience has been wonderful and a huge relief!

We have been very happy with our experience at Town Village of Leawood.

My mother has been at Glenwood village about two months, she already has a group of people she calls friends! She is very happy with her apartment it has everything she needs and wants. The food is delish and she is always telling me what they had she also said they will fix her something else if she wants. Great experience at Glenwood for our family especially for my mom!!

I have never seen a better community, and this has given me peace knowing my loved one is here. The staff communication is very good and they will address any questions or concerns the family has, and it is resolved quickly. There are menus sent to each resident each morning, and there are 2 or 3 meal choices, and dessert choices as well. The food is excellent. There are also snacks included each day if the residents would like them. There are activities at least three days a week for the residents. There is bingo, poker, trips to Walmart and more as some of the activities for the residents to choose from. The community provides a calendar of activities. The community is currently undergoing a renovation.

This would be a great place for those who are shy, the staff and residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. They do have several activities provided all throughout the day. Right now we feel it is a great value for what we are getting, especially compared to others we had looked into. The apartment size and layout is great and the food is better than average. They have great storage within the units as well, the closets are very large so she can store her Christmas and other holiday decorations. The community feels very safe and homey and we would recommend them to anybody looking.

We are completely happy and satisfied with The Legacy, and I've already recommended them to others. We tried them out as respite experience, and that was wonderful. We were so happy we went permanent. The care has been great. Recently we were able to reserve a dining area for a few hours to have a family celebration, and it was all very nice. I'm very happy with everything here.
