We toured Ridgmar Place and I really liked it and I thought that they did a great job with the tour itself, but my mom just did not feel comfortable here.

No exercise facility. Transport to Doctors appointments scheduled on Wednesdays, but doctors come to facility as well as podiatrist. Limited outdoor facilities.

Overall we've had a really good experience. The people are very friendly and very helpful . They seem to really care. This is a little thing, but it's a big thing in a community like this - there was consistency with the staff. Over the year my loved one has been there, it's the same people at the front desk. We see the same friendly faces. They know my name when I walk in. It kind of has a family feel to it. There's always going to be a few things that aren't perfect, because you're dealing with people. But I think they do a really good job.

We strongly considered Brookdale. It is a very nice place but the apartments weren't as nice as I would have liked and you have to pay extra for crown molding. There was also a lot of outside walking because the buildings are separated which would have been an issue for me.

The care services have gotten a lot better and the activities are slowly starting to come back they now have live entertainments. We do think the value for cost is good and we would recommend the community to others.

We toured this community and all of their residence were out and about and that concerned me with covid. The atmosphere was not very upbeat and it really didn't fit our needs.

We chose Legacy at South Plains because of the convenience to family members and it was a newer facility. The lady who was showing us around was really excellent, but she is no longer there she answered all our questions. They have been really good with communication. They have had a lot of turnover in staff during our time here. It has been a very difficult year so I am not sure hat it looks like outside of all the covid restrictions but I would recommend them more for assisted living.

make sure you understand the community's capabilities. Communication was good and they kept us informed. I would recommend this community if your loved one was totally independent. The community was neat and clean

We chose Brookdale because of the convenient location as well as the value for the money compared to others we looked into. The apartment is good size for what she needs My mom says the meals provided here are great and she really enjoys the activities. The only problem we have had is maintenance is kind of slow to respond when something needs to be fixed. Overall, I would recommend them.

The staff seems very warm and accommodating, they seem generally engaged with the residence. My loved one is very content with the community. The communication could be better and I would like more updates on my loved ones. They have had a good covid and have kept the residence safe. I would recommend this community to others

The community is very clean and nice. They have transportation and a recommended Dr. The call time between when my loved one hits the call button and some arrive can be longer than I like. I would recommend this community to others

Our loved one always really enjoyed the meals they provided, and we did think that value was pretty reasonable. We would recommend this community to others.

There really is no dining services because of the pandemic so the food is being delivered to their rooms. We would recommend this community to others

I chose Brookdale because there was a duplex available and that is what we were looking for, we knew they were hard to come by. The size of the duplex are very generous and we have plenty of room. We have been feeling our way around about a number of things that they did not tell us when we moved in. I think it would be helpful if they had a meeting or a piece of paper that explains things to new residents. I would recommend them with some reservations.

We chose Glenwood Village at the time because of their presentation and their marketing director was and is very attentive and friendly. They also were able to provide transportation and they were very responsive at the time. Their covid policies and procedures have been good and they have been able to keep it under control. They have had a complete change of staff in the last 3 months so there is a lot of turnover and the changes have been very difficult. I think they are really trying to evolve into something better, but at this point I am on the fence about recommending them.

The community is a great place and has lots of amenities. This is an older building and there could some things they could improve. The community keeps them active when they can. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Nice, clean place. I met with the Nurse Manager and the Director who were very welcoming and reassuring. There were a few residents milling about and the staff was interacting with them. The studio rooms were too small but the one-bedroom was nice and would definitely work. I really liked the different levels of care they provide and they really stressed aging in place. That is going to be a huge factor in our decision. Really, the only downside is it's 22 min drive from my house at 2:30 in the afternoon. Once it hits 4 or 5 that turns into a 40 min drive. Doing that every day would get old real quick. We're going to look closer but I will keep this at the top of the list for sure.

The short time that my mom was here we had a great experience. We did not have a lot of access to things because of the virus, but they were attentive and very well staffed. We were happy with the level of care that she received. They were always very good with communication and letting us know what was going on.

You get what you pay for, you need to understand and know the level of care your loved one needs. They had some issues that I have had to address with them but they handled the issue quickely. I would recommend this facility to others
