Mom does not like the food at all at Brookdale Historic Roswell. It is definitely not up to par. I don't like that there are residents that smoke. The smoke infiltrates into the building. It makes it uncomfortable to be outside. The activities are a little bit too basic. Would love to see some more complex activities. Respond time of maintenance staff needs improving. Things get done it just takes time. The staff here is very friendly and welcoming. They do try to get mom to participate in things even though mom is hesitant. The staff try to engage the residents. Everyone has been helpful.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, my loved one was a bit beyond the level of care they provide here. It is definitely worth a look for those looking into assisted living, however!

They have done a pretty good job on figuring out what my mother needs. We just had her one month review to see how things are going and talking about what they have noticed and what we have noticed. They have done a good job on always having someone around if we have any issues or concerns. They have been quite helpful.

It is very nice and clean and nicely displayed and the activities are good and the people are friendly. I just had a problem with my loved one getting his medication. They would run out of his medicine and so I had to order them, but it seems like they have gotten it fixed now.

Emeritus at Bellingham (now Brookdale) have been very good. They do a really good job keeping me informed of how my parents are doing. And it seems to be a really well run facility with a good rhythm to it.

Overall I would recommend Brookdale Ventana Canyon as a decent place. There have been a couple of small challenges with a couple of things (communication and some of the care services for example) but they are aware of this and are actively working to fill these gaps, and have brought in a new manager recently to do so. So the best I can say is that they are presently in a transition period in which there are a few small challenges, but all signs are that things are going to be very good a month or so from now once the transition is complete. It's a nice place with friendly staff and if you are looking for a place for an elderly loved one I would definitely check them out.

We toured here when we were looking for options. They were okay, the people were friendly, and it was nice. The rooms were put together strangely, like they had taken over an old hotel. There were closets in the kitchen area, and it was just a little weird.

I think they've been very helpful and extremely friendly. I think once they discovered what my mother's needs were they worked to accommodate her and I would recommend them, particularly to people who need assisted living.

They've advertised with their food and dining being wonderful, but I wasn't too impressed. Portions were extremely small and never looked like the food on display for the day. It was important for my mother to feel comfortable, get acquainted with the facility and not feel alone the first several weeks. I was assured there were residents assigned to new tenants specifically to help them through this process. I was with my mother virtually everyday the first several weeks and never had anyone offer to show mom around. Overall it's a nice place. Its clean and lots of activities if you so choose to participate.

Toured it so can't really rate the value of it. They treated us beautifully. The grounds is fabulous. I don't have much to compare it to but it's in southern California so there is a lot of competition. I'm sure there are fancier places but out of my price range. Seems promising.

Our experience with Brookdale Apple Valley has been a good one so far. It's a nice looking place, and the office staff are always ready and willing to answer any questions you have. My loved one hasn't been here long, but all of the longer term residents I've spoken with seemed happy and had no complaints!

I found the staff to be very accommodating and very friendly. They seem to be dealing with my dad well. We are very pleased. The facility is clean. Everyone is nice and welcoming. They do a good job at taking care of my dad. Everything has been going well. I would recommend the Emeritus at Ridgeland Pointe. It has been a very good experience for us. My dad seems to be comfortable and happy here. It's nice.

The people at Brookdale Paso Robles are very nice. The facility is very nice, clean and smells good. The food is very good as well. There have been a couple of issues with the billing. Someone elses bill once came to my house, and there have been a couple other small issues and in dealing with them on those they can be a little spacey at times. That's my only complaint and it is a minor one. Overall for the most part they have been very good.

Overall it has been a positive experience. The staff is great and the entire facility is very clean. Everything has been going pretty good. This is a nice community with nice people.

Very nice facility. Lovely garden area available to residents. Apartments are large and well lighted.

The Brookdale Greenhaven is a very nice community. They are very easy to work it. The facility is very clean. The staff is very kind and helpful. I can't rate the care services because my loved one is in independent living.

I think the direct care workers have been very caring. They get to know each resident and enjoy them. They seem to enjoy being there. I think that's really important. I like the fact that it has windows and lights in the dining room. They can see outside the windows while they are eating their meals. That's one of the reasons why I chose this facility over the other ones. They always inform us. They are always able to answer our questions.

The management and staff make residents and their families feel very welcome from the moment interest is expressed in possible Legacy residency. The employees at all levels are engaged, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, with a handful of individuals going beyond their expected job responsibilities (Jerry in particular). The facility is well maintained both inside and outside. There are a number of widely assorted activities on any given day in which residents can participate. The level of medical care is top notch on all fronts. Having staff make medical suggestions based on personal observations has proven beneficial several times. Administratively, the facility is on top of its game with respect to handling billing and long term care insurance issues. Food quality generally is pretty good. One area which can use improvement concerns the service in the dining area. Service can be a bit slow at times and corrections of erroneously delivered orders similarly prove to be periodically challenging.

My loved one has been here for 4 or 5 weeks. So far we are pleased with everything we have seen. We are having a review tomorrow to go over everything. There has been no concerns or issues.

My dad is staying their now and so far so good. There hasn't been any complaints on anything. The staff treat him really well and caring. The care about all the people there and doesn't give all the attention to one person.
