Good Morning, I would like to take the time to say how much the Children of [name removed] ;[names removed] appreciate [name removed] and Paramount, we were so impressed with the care we received from her at the initial visit letting us know what you will do for our Father making us feel comfort knowing he will be well taken care of, having [name removed] tell us how they will help Dad was such a relief from the very first meeting and also the day we set Dad’s room up, we have had all been so worried and struggling with how we can help Dad, we 4 feel very happy and confident in [name removed] and Paramount knowing he will be safe and cared for and be close to all of us we can’t thank you enough, we look so forward to coming there to see our Dad. We all recommend Paramount of Lancaster County to anyone searching for amazing care. Thank you

My mother-in-law was in a predicament—and so were we. [removed] I had been frantically searching area homes to find a good place for her. None seemed quite right. She needed specific care and protection. Coincidentally a friend told me about Paramount and how a wonderful woman there was setting up groups to help people caring for dementia patients; my friend, who is a loving and conscientious caretaker, was planning to use Paramount at Lancaster County as a respite home for her mother-in-law. So I got in touch, and [name removed] started the process of getting her in. But there was the issue of actually getting her in the car to go with me! [removed] [name removed] kept in close contact with text, coordinating everything. At last I was able to get everything in place to take her. And at 4 pm that day she finally agreed to go with me! [removed] Since she has been at Paramount her health has improved dramatically. She is a new person, far more loving, happy and not afraid of her abusive partner. She has mostly forgotten about him. She has found new friends and activities. The staff has been exceptional, caring for her with a level of patience, kindness and expertise that we could only have dreamed of before. It is a joy, every time, to visit and interact with the staff. I am there frequently at all hours and they are *all* consistently wonderful. I can't even single anyone out, since each staff member has been exceptional in the memory care unit! I would like to be sure that [name removed] is commended for her flexibility and poise under what were excruciating circumstances for us. My mother-in-law was in danger, and [name removed] acted with grace and professionalism, staying in constant text communication and coordinating everything. She stayed late the night of our arrival, and welcomed us after we had endured many stressful days and nights; she made us feel cared for and safe with humor and a loving attitude. We knew we had chosen well when we pulled up and everything was in place for us, a beautiful new safe home, and would recommend Paramount unconditionally. I wanted to express the sense of satisfaction that I made the right decision on my mother's living arrangements, the facility inspired in me when I first walked into it. One burden that I have been carrying over the course of my mother stay within this facility is, did I make the right decision without visiting the facility in person. But the conduct of the staff, the visual presentation of the entire facility and the complete content I saw on the faces of the diners convinced me that I made the right decision. During the course of my mother's stay, all correspondence and phone conversations have been pleasant and professional. They all addressed every concern that I had (although there were only a few) promptly and with my mother's best interest in mind. I would like to extend to them a heartfelt thank you, for making my mother's remaining time on earth as pleasant as humanly possible. I do, with full confidence, recommend this facility whenever and with whoever that conversation may come up with.

Paramount staff (ALL) make your loved one feel special. they smile, hug, dance and play with the residents when I asked questions they are there with the answers or will find someone to answer them. mom has moved into the memory center now, but she is still taken well care of. I wish we would have found this place first.

i was visiting a family member at this community last week and i was amazed by all of the happy residents who were busy with different activities and welcoming to me as i came in the door. Such a beautiful place! I thought my grandma was in a nice place but going there made me feel like she was in the best place possible. Thank you Paramount for giving her the best care she could ask for. Before i left I took a walk around, fantastic is what came to mind. I left smiling and can’t wait to visit again!!

Beautiful place, very homey feeling, friendly staff and people, smells great not like most senior homes, feels real!!!

I recently place my grandmother here. It was a very hard decision to place her. [Name removed] helped make the transition much easier. The facility is beautiful, everyone is very friendly, and has a homey feeling. My grandmother has adjusted very well. She is getting good meals and wonderful care. I feel she is very safe and will be cared for very well. I don't have to worry about her because i know she is taken car of. The individual rooms are very roomy and they residence can decorate and make them their own. I am so glad we found Paramount and were able to get my grandmother place here. Thanks to all the staff for their kindness it was appreciated greatly.

The entire staff at this community are friendly and accommodating. They are willing to do anything mom asks and they are happy to help; you never feel like you are putting anyone out when you make a request. The community is only 5 years old and is just beautiful, with pretty carpeting, furniture and art work. The building is in a U-shape with a courtyard with a fountain, and some wild turkeys roaming the adjacent hillside that are fun to watch. The admissions nurse Sandra is very caring, and still speaks to me every time I see her. The front desk is very efficient, scheduling hair salon and doctor appointments, visitor meals, residents leaving, guests coming & going, and so on. The food is good and they offer a beautiful private dining room without charge, serving their food or you can bring your own. There are daily exercise classes, bingo, ice cream socials and frequent entertainers that come in. Paramount Peters networks with other local providers (pharmacy, doctors, dentist, podiatrist, etc.) that share their kindly views toward helping the residents. Whatever outside service mom has needed, Paramount is able to help her. Mom is in her second month at Paramount. She, and the family, are very pleased and would highly recommend this community.

My mother has adjusted very well to this community. She is doing very well, and I'am pleased with her move here. She has gotten involved in the community with the activities they have available. I haven't had any problem with the staff, they are always willing to help. The dining room is restaurant style. The meals are good, and they have a nice variety of food too choose from. They are providing her with great care. This is a community I would recommend, it has worked out very well for us.

I am really impressed with the quality and variety of food, as well as the variety and amount of activities being very good. Communication with the administrative department could have been a little better. There was some initial confusion. My mom is happy. The other residents seem to be very welcoming and friendly. Overall I would give them a four and a half.

The White Chapel Staff are truly wonderful people. Helpful, caring, friendly and willing to work with new residents and their family to adjust to their new environment. I cannot say enough on how cooperative and understanding the staff at White Chapel have helped ME with the transition of placing my father in their facility. Several people have commented that a right decision was made for the wellbeing of my father and after 2 weeks, I believe they are right. He is moving around more, having people around his own age gives him opportunities to talk and tell stories, things he was not doing at home. Thank you ALL!

My was feeling very lonely in her home plus she was going to have a hip replacement. She was suffering from depression and anxiety. Before her surgery, she spent a week at Emeritus to see how it was. After her surgery and rehab, she moved into Emeritus. Her depression and anxiety seems to be under control. She has made friends and participates in the many activities, plus she goes "right next door" to the Newark Senior Center to do the activities she has been doing there for five years. I think my mother made a good decision to go to Emeritus.

considering my mother's need for help on a daily basis and her fierce need for independence. to quote, nothing wrong with my brain it just a ninety two year old body. Everything I have seen, heard and research says this will be a good match.

My father needed a home; a place where people cared about him and saw to his needs. He's found a home at Emeritus at Wilburn Gardens. The staff goes beyond courtesy and caring, forming a bond with their charges that makes for a family atmosphere. When I visited, all of my dad's needs were addressed with a care I've not found anywhere else. They even made arrangements for my dad to visit when I wasn't able to bring him over. I was very impressed with their customer service and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure that we were both satisfied that this was the right place for my Dad.

He's only been there a week but at the moment they're getting high marks from us. The staff seems very pleasant, easy to work work, the facility itself is beautiful, very, very nice grounds. He has been encouraged to participate in activities, whether or not he will do them is another story, but that's just his personality. We really liked the garden style and the foyer being the center of activity whether he was on the first floor or second floor, regardless of whether he left his room or not he would still be able to hear what was going on.

The staff are very friendly and take the time to know my name and who my person there is. They are very kind to my mom, and treat her very well. The staff check in on her often just to "check". The staff has learned her likes and dislikes. My mom does not like the food. She complains often. One of her biggest complaints is the food is not warm. The administration there are very involved and seem to be on top of things. The price of these facilities are so expensive. I understand it takes a lot to run them but I feel it is excessive. That is not just this facility it is all of them.

Our loved one does not participate in the activities. The value for cost is based on consideration level/quality of care attitudes/training level of caregivers. whole subject is a discussion that takes a few minutes. I have what I can afford, but several areas that could be improved, in my opinion of course

Transportation was included with quote but after move in it turned out that it isn't available for independent living. They have great activities available in the main building but [name removed] cannot attend any due to lack of transportation from independent living cottages to main building. For lack of inclusion due to transportation

Staff turnover has been high which is concerning-with that said my mom has had no issues thus far with the staff she says everyone has been nice. The food is ok-she has no complaints about breakfast but does complain about the food on lunches/dinners -with that said I think it's fine I've eaten there numerous times. They provide a nice clean environment for the seniors and I believe do a pretty good job of having a good safe environment with activities

If your loved one is in the memory care unit, their access to daily activities (e.g. bingo) is up to you, so expect to be spending time there. I can say the food is surprisingly good. The staff has been very friendly overall. There are some issues with a few of the residents in memory care because of their dementia. This includes wandering the hall in the unit and entering other residents rooms uninvited, even getting into another resident's bed. Atleast 1 resident has severe agitation and is constantly crying and causing a commotion until medicated. The facility is kept very clean and maintained. TV service is very basic so you may want to consider roku or similar. For billing of doctors and rx be sure the providers have the correct mailing address and insurance. If your loved one participates in the incontinence program keep an eye on supplies being provided when needed and not being used for other residents.
