Lack of communication among the staff during shift changes. A lot of changes are taking place due to the facility being sold to a corporation. The cost to stay at this facility is very high. The guidelines/ policies for the facility were not made clear to us. The staff at the front desk are friendly. Wait time for medication takes a long time. I think this facility could run smoother.

The staff at Astoria Park has mostly been fantastic. I feel that my mom is safe here and well cared for. Some newer players on the med staff may need to understand Alzheimer's more in order to achieve compliance. Carpet cleaning needed, hallway alarm going off 3 weeks

Our overall experience at Astoria Park has been positive. Many of the staff are excellent however there have been a few that need a better understanding of the behavior expected in a memory care unit. We do have several staff members we LOVE!

The best thing is that I love about this community is a family freindly place. My friends here at the Villas are always willing to participate in events and celebrations. I also love how clean and large the apartments are. We have a lot of space.
