I toured Montage Ridge and it was nice. It ranked high on our list of possibilities. The staff at this facility seemed super nice and caring, but it felt a little less like a Community. The Community is a renovated hotel and it felt like that, the rooms just seemed isolated and not the feel of a cohesive Community.

We picked this community, because of the location and price. They need to redecorate the lobby, paint and replace the carpet. it's oudated and needs work. The staff is fine. The room that, my loved one had was great. The food could be better. Overall, the community was fine. They don't offer memory care, if your loved one needs additional care, so you will end up moving

When it comes to the meals and dining service, good food is ready important. Started good, had some misses, but overall good. However based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend the Brookdale Chatsworth community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a fine experience - there was quite a bit of construction going on in the general area - there was a lot of plastic everywhere. However that was not a persuading factor in our decision making. It came down to location and what was going to be best suitable for our loved one, this was a solid top choice to for us.

We had a good tour experience at Brookdale Chatsworth. It just wasn't the right fit for my loved one - she didn't need that level of care.

I like the people and the staff and how hard they work to keep everything clean and well kept. I keep my dog here and they make everything comfortable for her. I have mde some really lovely friends here.

The staff members are very good and we feel they are very responsive and very nice. We do like that the community has a homey comfortable familiar feel to it, it is not a larger brand new facility like some others that could be overwhelming.

Overall, this facility is good. They do seem to be short staffed liked everyone else, but the care staff is great. Sometimes they're a little slow to respond, but again I think that's due to short staffing. The nursing staff is great. They offer diabetic care, which a lot of other facilities that we toured do not. Communication with the family is very good. Transportation is only a couple days a week and outings are few. I'm sure Covid has played a part in that. The food is ok, but the portions are small and not a lot of variety. Meal delivery to the rooms is often delayed. They are in the process of modernizing décor, which is nice. One suggestion I would offer is a smoother entry process after hours for visitors. Some facilities us a key fob system. Here you have to wait to get buzzed in and the wait is often longer than necessary. They do housekeeping once a week, but it's pretty quick. I wish it was a little more detailed and a deeper clean. They have a salon, but it's basic. Nail trims and other services are an additional cost. All in all, they offer good services for the value. I would recommend them to family and friends.

There are lots of things we like about the facility. It does seem like something is lacking in memory care. My loved one would like to see more variety in the activities because they do the same things each day. She loves to cook so that would be great if they could incorporate things like that for the residents. Overall we are pleased with the experience there are just some little things that they could improve on. It is a nice clean safe environment so I don't have to worry - I would recommend them as long as you can afford it.

We really like the friendly staff and that was the very helpful to us with our families needs. The most beneficial part that we found it was very close proximity to our home so it was great for us as far as being able to visit Mom often. Would always recommend this to be helpful if is an option for your loved one's.

The first few days were a little bit challenging due to my loved one moving in on the weekend, instead of during the week. The staff were very accommodating with the family during the time of my loved one until there passing was very quick after moving in. They were willing to take my loved one in that may have needed a little more care than what we anticipated. Medication management, bathing, and hygiene care were some of the care the community was able to provide. They were great in coordinating with hospice and administering the medications that fit each group the best. Laundry, changing of linens, housekeeping, the room, utilities and care were included in the monthly rate for my loved one.

The place is nice, the staff is wonderful. They have issues with the meals. They are short staffed in the dining room.

They've been great. There have been just a couple little things here and there. For instance, we wish his bathroom was kept a little cleaner. But it's been great overall. They provided us with a lot of patience and support at the beginning of the transition. The staff is definitely still there for us and responsive. We just don't need them at that same level anymore. But If we do need something, they're always happy to step in and help. The food is good. He's warming up to the activities and enjoying what he does take part in. And they're good at encouraging him to participate.

They were very attentive with my loved one and making sure that she had everything that she needed. I would recommend this community for your loved one. The memory care staff were great with my loved one. I like the layout of this community and it is easier for my loved one to get around.

This facility has all the services my mother would require, yet not within our budget. I felt comfortable and it appeared to have a full range of activities.

Overall this is a warm and loving place to live. Since Covid disrupted our normal routine night after I was here a week my opinion is somewhat tainted. My biggest complaint is I was told the carpet would be replaced as it is filthy and yet here it is 17 months later and the filthy carpet remains!! Certainly by now something .should be done.

This community was old and dark and I wanted something brighter and more clean for my loved one.

This sounds like a really good place to go. There are a lot of good opportunities. Anyone that I talk to is very nice and helpful whenever I call. Whenever, I have questions they jump right to it and get it done.

Our family was able to have an in person tour and from what we were able to see of the community it was very clean and very well kept.

The community was very nice. The room is carpeted and it would have made it difficult my loved one to get around. This was one of our finalist.
