Living here has been a pleasure and a nice experience, especially the activities. One being BINGO.

The staff are very helpful, the foods good. Loves happy hour Fridays with live music and overall enjoys activities that wishes to participate with.

Personable atmosphere for senior to be connected to each other and the outside world. I like the special events that we have here.

This place is a warm, friendly and safe environment. The fact that animals are allowed to come lends a feeling of comfort and love. The staff are friendly, caring and fun.

Woodland is a great place with friendly residents and workers. The dining room staff do a great job serving all of the residents.

I have always found Brookdale staff very responsive It is very homey feeling. My mother has found that many people have been there for years and have tried other places and are happier at this particular Brookdale.

I don't give 5's cause always room for improvement. I'm in a unique situation sense I moved from another state. Medical has being a headache but this isn't on them. They are doing everything in their power to connect it. Their going above and beyond. Sure there are other things that they can improve on but they aren't ignoring them. It is not perfect never will be highly recommend.

My parents have been living at Astoria Park Senior Living for 10 months. Although there were some staff changes throughout this period, key management staff remained. My father went through a medical emergency last year and was discovered by the staff on the floor during breakfast check. He was transferred to the hospital promptly and he has since recovered from the illness. We appreciate the care services and the staff at the facility. My recent visit at the facility was pleasant, especially the new van driver. My father had a clinic visit for blood draw and the driver determined that we should be done fairly quick, so she waited for us at the clinic. It was an excellent experience.

I miss my home so this place is close to being like home because of the nice staff. I enjoy Elvis and the dancing activities.

I love it here. So many nice people especially the staff. Looking forward to more activities and impairing the dining experience.

This is a very relaxing place. It is comfortably relaxing. There is no problems. This is a residence for being old and older. It is clean, comfortable, and relaxing.

It was favorite expression to me very good atmosphere.

Recently, I toured Astoria Park Senior Living while visiting a friend there. It’s an intimate, uplifting community with warm, friendly and very helpful staff, along with happy-looking residents. The living spaces I saw were spacious and clean, and the public areas were well-tended and contemporary. I enjoyed dining with my friend; the meal was delicious. I was impressed that the chef stopped by to personally check on us. . The selection of daily activities, social events, a work-out area and craft center were exciting and impressive. I felt very safe and cozy at Astoria Park. It’s definitely on my list as I consider active senior living options near neighborhood amenities.

Your referral was good & after meeting the Company administrator, LVN & new marketing rep we decided on Brookdale Central. With incentives offered and suggestion of taking a bridge loan until home was sold, we transitioned family member in November 2023. Initially there was definite lack of knowledge, disorganization & inexperience by finance officer & staff. Director showed a shared room, but did not prepare the resident who came out with walker yelling his prior bad experience. Room had urine odor & dirty. We were given another room to see and again the resident was unprepared. He was kind, bedridden, on hospice, and waiting to die. The room was filled with his things, clean but inappropriate. Eventually things were settled and for 2 months all went well. Third month our family member died after being moved to hospice care. Staff was helpful however, money owed before death was never received. No calls returned, referred # errors. They did not really care, only wanted money. SAD.

he's still new so far everyone is nice

It is generally a good experience. The staff was caring and helpful. Biggest problem was they were struggling to keep the number of staff up to needed levels. My loved one needed more encouragement to participate in the activities that they had provided.
