Liked - large community - Spacious studios.

Not as clean as Emeritus of Vacaville, but room is biger. Still a very nice place.

Decent place. Liked the resident animals a lot, and Mom would too. Don't like the neighborhood much. I think the people here are not alert and verbal enough for Mom to enjoy though, I saw an awful lot of people who 'weren't home'.

We really liked it. He even wants her to see it so we will take both (I pray it works out). We're looking forward to that.

My dad's favorite at this point; utilities included but cable and telephone extra; Wine & cheese night once a month, coin operated laundry; stove and fridge; queen bed will fit; tub and shower.

Really liked it. Up there with Pasadena Highlands. Only four stars because no views.

Everything was good except the memory care residents were left sitting around a lot and not doing many things. Their activities director had been let go because she was not the right fit, and they were trying to find someone. Covid also played a part in that. But I was disappointed in the activities nevertheless. Otherwise, they were very good about the care, and they were helpful to me in getting hospice set up. Their nursing staff and med techs were excellent. The cost was pretty typical, and you paid a flat rate each month.

This was a smaller community. I didn't like the residents have a shared bathroom.

Our family had an in person tour and the rooms we were shown were superior, I mean extremely well decorated. However the community itself was very claustrophobic, it wasn't really spaced out.

My parents have been for 10 months. they are very caring at the Villa. We were able to visit as often as we wanted and my parents were always clean and seemed well cared for. they do have many activities but do not make the clients participate if they do not want to. which in memory are I would prefer they would. during Covid-19 we have gotten to speak and and Face time with my parents every week until the last 2 weeks something has gone wrong. but they are trying to remedy that. It is a good, safe and caring place for my parents. thank you Villas of San Bernardino.

Brookdale Denver was an older establishment. The staff was friendly and gave us a lot of information about what they could provide for my loved one. It did not seem as well-kept as some of the other communities that we looked at.

My parents have a nice deluxe studio apt that is spacious and they are starting to settle in. The staff here are very friendly, accommodating and helpful, sometimes they are a bit short staffed so it might take a little longer for them to respond. My parents do like the field trips and the activities are sort of limited as the residents don't really take part in them here. There are two different courtyard/porches that my dad likes to go out on from time to time.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and it was not my favorite. It was very bland out in the courtyard and that was a deal breaker for me. It was all just a paved sidewalk with no flowers planted or any green trees anywhere. I think there was only on bench with not even an umbrella. I personally would not want to live in this facility so I was not about to place my mother here.

The staff are amazing they communicate very well with my mother. Any concerns that i have they will make sure they fix the problem and make accommodations. They also had a promising look throughout the property. Everything was very well maintained and have been properly taken care of for the residents. I enjoyed my visit to this location and would advise anyone to take a look at this community.

Finding this Brookdale Chatsworth community was a life saver. We do not currently need care service for my Dad so I can not comment. The property was recently turned to a Brookdale community. They have some hiccups to overcome transitioning I believe. They were running a special so I felt the price was great for what you get. Three meals a day, laundry service, housekeeping and a lot of activities. I call it a cruise ship on land! My dad is very happy there.

This is one of the places I toured as I was looking for options. I felt like the building was a little older and not as nice as some of the other places I was looking at. The people were friendly and it was clean.

We were not informed of the need for a medical review and the need for a PPD test until a few days before the move. Unfortunately there was a turn over in personnel between when we toured and when we moved my mother to the facility which may have affected the communication process

I think the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. My mother absolutely loves food! We are happy with the level of activities and feel the community is a really good value. My mother and I have no complaints about the food.

Windchime was okay but you know how you just get a feeling sometimes about a place? This place was okay but I just like another place better. It may have been because of the stage my mother was in. Some of these places are for people who are higher functioning and still able to be involved with activities and things like that. Windchime seemed like this - good for people who still can do some functioning. My mom is just at a point where she can't.
