Options For Senior America

Options was sent to me by the VA ,not having family close they’ve been a great help . I have meals cooked for me with each visit . Staff cleans my living areas as well as take me out grocery shopping . This company has been a great help .

I will always be thankful for Options. When my dad suddenly passed away...my sisters and I tried to pick up the 24hr care my mom needed. With limited vision, diabetes, dementia and frequent falls...she could not be left alone. We heard about Options and they came to meet my mom and us...it was an instant connection. I recently told [name removed] they were "Angels that came to us in one of the darkest times of our lives". These girls took excellent care of mom. They became family...sisters...and daughters to my mom. They brought her to picnics..parties and holidays. She loved all of them. [Names removed] were great to work with and the girls they sent were so loving and caring. [Names removed] were there at the end and you couldn't ask for more devoted "daughters". [Name removed] stayed all night with my mom the last time she was in the hospital. I can't say enough about this Agency. They will always be very special to this family.

My mother has had caregiving services from Options for Senior Americans for over a year now and we couldn't be more pleased. The caregivers are excellent and the whole staff is very professional and attentive to my mother's needs. She was determined to stay in her own home after turning 90 and no longer being able to drive. But that meant she would be living alone with none of her children living close by. I really didn't think this was a possibility until I heard of Options for Senior America. From our initial meeting and interview we were thrilled with all the services offered: transportation to appointments, church and social engagements, as well as help with grocery shopping and other activities, and all for a reasonable and affordable cost. We were matched with a primary caregiver who has been more efficient and caring than we ever could have expected. When my mother had a health crisis, Options staff were there to assess her condition and get her immediately to the hospital. If I had known that such a great service was available years ago I would not have worried so much about my mother being able to continue living as she wished in her own home. The best news is that my mother's health has actually improved with the help of Options personnel and she is happy and secure. We are so grateful.

We use options for my father-in-law, who resides in an assisted living facility. Not only are they very caring and attentive, every one of their caregivers has formed a personal bond with him and go above and beyond their duty sending us photos and keeping us involved when we can't be there

The services they provide are just what she needs to continue to stay in the Independent Living. I like how I can communicate at any time with them with questions, requests, and knowing any changes they may see with my mom. They are always consistent and go a little extra with helping her with her needs. I would highly recommend the Options team with your care needs.

They help and care for her so that she can continue to live in the Independent Living. The communication is great, I am always able to ask questions, make requests they always let me know if there are any changes in my mom. They go a little extra in helping her. I had been searching for homecare or an assisted living place mt my husband and Options for Senior America gave me the most information and help of any other place I called. The owner, [name removed], is especially helpful.

The care providers performance was more than we could ask for. They work very hard all day . We chose Options because of their quick response time and availability. The senior advisor from A Place For Mom gave us a couple of names but we didn't have to call except Options. Overall excellent experience.

Pro-active in finding care givers. Responsive to phone calls and emails. We were very fortunate to get a wonderful lady care giver from them early in the requirement phase. Answers any and all timesheet, billing questions, and care insurance questions. Good company to do business with.

Services have been reliable and helpful. My caregiver and I work well together.

Optimal responses to chaotic situations; when in the middle of crisis it's reassuring to know that you have someone to help formulate and implement your plan B. Daily life is difficult for us, simply with me being a full time caretaker for my wife, taking care of day to day living. However that also creates it's own challenge, when you find your self a single point of failure. Add to this volatile mix the impact of accumulated years on these old bones, and I woke one morning realizing that I had a ticking bomb. In keeping with life long training, I keep in mind Proper Prior Planning prevents P*ss Poor Performance, I knew I needed a change to the existing paradigm as sure as Thelma and Louise, I was headed over the cliff. That's where Options for Senior America comes in. From the start, working with [name removed] was like meeting a comfortable friend - the surprise was that it was the first time. She is great! Flexible and scalable solutions were worked out, and everything suddenly became calm. She offered experience and perspectives for what we had been thinking were unique showing us alternatives to address the challenges we were facing, as a single point of contact for all of these needs. By leveraging her experiences and bring to bear her skill sets demonstrating her expertise repeatedly and to good effect, [name removed] ook on the aspect of a Guardian Angel to help us with our insoluble problems. Without her skills and help, we would be floundering; now we have the kind quality and essential assistance we have been looking for. Kudos, Ms. [name removed].

We have used Options service twice and were very pleased with the care and the attention my husband received. The staff was friendly and kind and professional . The staff was attentive and recorded times for meals and medications received. It was important for us to feel they were understanding of our needs and the communication was good. It is a nice service that helps not only the elderly but also the caregiver having a bit of time when needed. I would definitely recommend this service and will use them again when in need.

My mother and I have been through a rough time finding dependable and reliable care givers for her. Doing it on your own is very hard because you don't know who to trust. (and we trusted the wrong people). I found a business card in the Post office with Options name and thought why not try...[Name removed] answered the phone and was so nice and transferred me to her boss, [name removed], she listened to my issues and trusted me she could find the right person (people) to help us. Well she did not lie! If one caregiver cannot come in than they send another. We have not had a caregiver we do not like, my mom loves them all. Highly recommend!

I was given several names of agencies from A Place for Mom. I contacted a few and decided to go with Options because of the breadth of assistance I received from them. So far I give them highest marks on all counts.

I have been worried about my mom having COPD, she lives alone and a hour or more away from us. The Branch manager and I have talked off and on for over a month, I finally had some time to meet with her and she actually traveled over an hour just to meet face to face. I was able to meet the two owners, brothers, that obviously know what they are doing to be hiring such skilled people. 30 years in business says a lot and the resources that the manager was able to give me were incredible. As a business owner myself I expect higher standards. I am getting that with Options! Feeling better knowing that Options will be there for my mom! Highly recommended!

Got Options name from the Departmenet on Aging Resource Guide. We did not contact other agencies as the initial contact was excellent with Options both Community Relations Manager and Care Coordinator.We will use Options again as we need to.
