Excellent experience with 'Options for Senior America!" My mother is 90 years old and we needed just the right person to come in a few times a week to assist with bathing, meals, medication reminders and some light housekeeping. When I called this agency, they sent a nurse by the house the next day to find out details of what Mom needed. [name removed] , the nurse, was courteous, professional and friendly. They worked with our schedule and chose the right caregiver for Mom. My Mom is not very sociable or comfortable around strangers, but [name removed] , our caregiver, was very understanding and by the second visit, my Mom felt at ease. The office staff was quick to handle any calls or questions I had. I am so grateful for all the good help and efficiency from them.

They are flexible with hours and if my Mom is not happy with a caretaker, they will assign her a different one. I think the manager does a great job and I appreiate all that's being done for Mom's care.

[Name removed], the caregiver, is compassionate, dependable, competent and has a great attitude. The management is responsive to our needs even after- hours. Strongly recommended.

My mother in law had several back surgeries over the last 2.5 years. We hired Options for Senior America to come in and work with her for 12 hour shifts daily. We were so pleased with the consistency of staffing and the ability to get the office staff anytime we needed them. Great Job Options!

I highly recommend Options for Senior America in Manassas, Virginia. [Name removed] and her team of excellent caregivers helped my husband and I at home as his Parkinson's Disease advanced over several months. When he had a stroke & went to a hospital setting, I called on her for help as I was confused and lost by the options being presented to us. She immediately came to evaluate our situation, gave me excellent guidance, and told me things I didn't know and would not have known to ask about. She then provided nighttime caregivers to help my husband get through the nights. AND THIS WAS ALL DONE OVER A WEEKEND, AT THE LAST MINUTE. Senior Options went above and beyond what might have been expected and just what one needs in a time of crisis. I don't know what I would have done without [name removed] & and her professional caregivers.

Very responsive to our family's needs. They get back to you promptly after-hours. Very pleased with their services.

Agency is not Medicare certified, thus the cost has become a challenge. But the care provided by both caregivers, [name removed] and [name removed], is great and the overall quality of the service is excellent.

The cost is expensive but people are great: Aides, branch staff as well as corporate staff are excellent and responsive to after-hours emergencies.

The quality assurance visits that are conducted by this company in person can be done via phone and/or on line. I generally give the Aides high marks. Of the 4 aides I have had, [name removed] is by far the best.

I got Options brochure at Ch Hall Veterans Home. What made me finally choose Options is that you had a suitable caregiver available and your company has been around for 30 years. Licensed by the State. [Name removed], the manager was very Knowledgeable and professional. So far so good.

I called A Place For Mom and they gave me a few names of home care services in the Baltimore area. I contacted 3 agencies and when I reached Options, [name removed], the manager, was very responsive. He cares to help you find help for your loved one. The care providers they sent us were aware of their duties and the performance so far has been excellent.

I was looking for help for my brother who has schizophrenia and dementia and was told he could not stay at his assisted living in Va. anymore, I had no where to turn so I started at one agency in Laplata and that agency told me to go up to Options for Senior America. No sooner did I walk in (4:50pm on a Friday) that [name removed] met me asked me to sit down and explained what her company does. She could not help me with my brother but spent over 45 minutes with me explaining the different agencies that could. I left there knowing about grants that I never knew existed. With tears flowing, I asked her why she was doing this for me since she cannot help directly. Care Providers were excellent, office staff was very helpful and new manager is very compassionate about making sure services are provided as asked.

The Options team of Merrillville was so helpful an efficent in helping me get the care I needed. They found me a wonderful lady [Name removed]. She helped make my world a lot brighter an kind.
