Options For Senior America

I was looking for help for my brother who has schizophrenia and dementia and was told he could not stay at his assisted living in Va. anymore, I had no where to turn so I started at one agency in Laplata and that agency told me to go up to Options for Senior America. No sooner did I walk in (4:50pm on a Friday) that [name removed] met me asked me to sit down and explained what her company does. She could not help me with my brother but spent over 45 minutes with me explaining the different agencies that could. I left there knowing about grants that I never knew existed. With tears flowing, I asked her why she was doing this for me since she cannot help directly. Her response will last with me forever..."because you asked and you needed it", If anyone needs help with their family members please call [name removed] at Options.

Care Providers were excellent, office staff was very helpful and new manager is very compassionate about making sure services are provided as asked.

The Options team of Merrillville was so helpful an efficent in helping me get the care I needed. They found me a wonderful lady [Name removed]. She helped make my world a lot brighter an kind. Office staff very effective. Any staffing problems, [Name removed] works hard to accommodate! New employee called to introduce and to assist. The care provider [Name removed] is good. and the overall service is excellent.

The care provider [Name removed] was only a fill in and on an as needed basis few times. Enjoyed having new care provider [Name removed] . Spoke to the manager Katie regarding having [Name removed] permanent care provider going forward. My father-in-law loved having her. She goes above and beyond to help us out.

My 94 year old mother had been very independent until she had a fall. when we needed a caregiver for her ,Bridgette at Options For Senior America , Merrillville came thru for us. Her staff were all professional and made my mom very comfortable with care they provided. I can't thank them enough for setting us at ease , that mom was well taken care of.

Got Options name from the Internet. We spoke to few agencies but decided to go with Options because [Name removed], the Community Relations manager was compassionate and had a wonderful demeanor. Superb customer service. They went above and beyond. Overall experience so far is excellent.

We did an internet search in the Baltimore area and got few names of home care agencies from a senior advisor of A Place For Mom. We called and left messages and got a call back promptly from [Name removed], the manager of Options. The care givers they sent to care for my father were creative and thorough and their performance went above and beyond. Good communication with the office staff.
