This community is in a central location, which was very important to us. [name removed] took us on the tour and we could tell she cared about each resident’s needs and anticipated questions we were thinking about. She helped us feell good about having our Mom live there. The rooms are spacious and all have a modified kitchen. The atmosphere was cheery and the pricing was very affordable. It seemed like the perfect place for our gregarious 91-year-old Mom!

My loved one is very happy at The Rawlin. The community is brand new and I really like the way it's laid out. It has a main are where you enter the community, and then every wing of the facility is a "neighborhood," which makes it much easier for my loved one to find her way around. The food here is top notch, and the facility is kept very clean. They have a lot of activities to keep the residents stimulated and engaged such as puzzles, games, and live entertainment. The staff here is also excellent. They really seem to be hiring the right people here because they really go out of their way to show they respect the residents, they are super nice, they stay on top of things, and they check on residents regularly. I would absolutely recommend The Rawlin to others.

I moved my mother out of the horribly managed [Removed] as soon as The Springs opened in November 2015. I was cautiously optimistic that the staff at The Springs would give my mom the care and attention she deserved, but they surpassed my expectations. [Removed]is a warm but firm manager. It's because of her that things get done properly. There have been a few times when things went wrong that were out of her control, but she personally went the extra mile to find a solution. For example, when the hair stylist couldn't make it in to do my mom's hair, [Removed] knew it would disappoint her, so she did it herself. It clearly made [Removed] happy to see my mother smile. In addition to great management, the building is beautifully decorated and very comfortable for residents and visitors. The food has been great and less than great, but it all depends on the chef. I realize that it's hard to find and keep a good one, but [Removed], the front desk manager, is also a former caterer and steps in when necessary to make things right. The head nurse is also top notch and keeps a close eye on the staff. Case in point: I have never once seen an iphone in an employees hand (like at the other 2 facilites where my mom has lived). The staff members at The Springs are in uniform and wear a name tag which deters any potential mischief. Both [Removed] and [Removed] do a terrific job making sure the staff is doing their most important job; being attentive to the residents. I've researched and eaten at literally every nursing home in the Lake County area in order to find the perfect place for my mom. When you can't care for your loved one at home any longer, I've found that The Springs is the next best alternative. Mom has resided in three beautiful homes in the past 5 years, but The Springs is easily my favorite for one reason; the management.

We were able to tour this community for the care for my mother in law. The staff were nice and were able to inform us on the care that is offered at this nice community. We liked the menu and the list of activities that are offered to the residents. We would have liked this community but the cost was not an option. We would recommend this community to other families for the care of a love one's needs.

We liked the care at this community. The community was clean and nice and a good environment for her. The meals were appealing. They do have activities for the residents who are able to participate. We were happy with the care of this community and would recommend other families to see what is offered for the value and care of a loved one.

The care here from this community is very good. The staff are caring and we like the care that she is receiving. They offer a nice variety on the menu and she seems to be happy with the choices. This community has activiies that are offered. I would recommend other families to this community for the nice care and good value for the care of a loved one.

I liked the tour that we took for my sister. They did have informed. The community was nice and clean and it seemed like the residents were a little older then my sister and we wanted a community with residents around her age. I would recommend that families tour this nice community for the care of a loved one.

So far things are going very well.The nurses assistants are very good. Everyone is very welcoming and greets you with a smile.[removed] is awesome!My mom is slowly getting involved in activities, she likes to watch people play cards, she has gone to the movie room but she hasn't utilized the shuttle services. She was able to bring her bed and furniture which helped her become acclimated. She wasn't able to bring her scooter because it was too bulky but we got her an electric wheelchair. I think this is a wonderful community for what you pay for.

We chose this community because my mother loves the food very much. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly.

The staff at Waterhouse Ridge are super friendly and caring. The food is terrific. They offer daily activities for the residents. They keep the community clean and well taken care of.

My sister will be moving to this community at the moment we have taken tours. The tours have been great the people in the community are nice. It is nicely furnished and set up. We have been provided with a lot of positive feedback from the staff about the community.

I was unable to do a tour because it was not near me. I liked that there is a hospital across the way in case of any emergencies. I did not like the financial part. There were not enough options to help make it easy for us. The manager was responsive quick, within a few days.

I wrote a review earlier "Springs of Vernon Hills is Top Notch" but put the wrong # of stars! Our family is thrilled with this facility .

This is our third residence our mother has lived in the past two years that has offered assistance, as her needs have changed. I was recommended by a neuro pschologist to bring my mother to the Springs of Vernon Hills. To say I am satisfied would be a major understatement! The staff at the Springs are the finest people I have ever been around in my life.I wouldnt know where to begin to describe the care and love my mother receives from each and every person. From the director, Tina Schachter, who has kept my mother company on sleepless nighs, ( what shes doing there at night I have no clue, but she was there,) to her husband David, who comes on weekends, to the social director Christina, who is probably the most patient person I have ever been around, to the billing/ front desk person, Shey( not sure of her spelling), to all the incredible aides who go above and beyond to make my mother and all the other residents comfortable. and well groomed, and meticulously cared for. The staff including Tina, even paint my mothers nails as well as the other residents. I could go on and on but my point is made. There is no other place like this.

The staff at this facility has the best interest in mind for each resident. They have information to connect with them. The activities director plans a full schedule each day plus outings for those who can ride in the van. The facility is clean and has a very sterile laundry procedure. There are several sitting areas plus a fabulous courtyard for families to visit with their loved one. The facility has wide hallways and all on one floor which is hard to find in the area. It is worth looking at. You will have peace of mind leaving your loved one.

i want to give you my review with this place. I put my Dad with Nazareth Memory Care last month and i can say the staff are great even the care they giving the best. And the staff will giving me update about my dad and even my dad told me that he loving to stay in that place. Activities wise the staff doing a lot of it but i know it will be hard for them because not all will participate and i know with dementia they always wandering. The Woodlake is great. I don't live there, my brother does. I haven't been there much since he moved in. He is content there. The staff and consideration and responsive to me when I call and he likes the food a lot. It's meets his relatively high standards in all respects. That's enough.

We had a fine tour at The Woodlake. Initially we thought they were a 5/5. After seeing another place, we thought they were still very good but more like 4.5/5. The memory care unit of the place we chose was just a little nicer and had more outdoor space.
