Oaks Senior Living

The meals are good I have eaten with mom a couple times. They do keep the residents busy. Of course we all wish the cost was less, but the care is good and based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend this community to others.

It's been great, and it is good value.

What we like the most about Oaks at Alpharetta is the cleanliness of the place, how friendly and attentive the staff are and how they always follow up and meet their commitments.

The staff is wonderful, as well as the caregivers. For the most part, my family has a great rapport with the caregivers, and they are very attentive to our sister. We also have a great rapport with the residents, as we are a part of that community as well .

Located in a quiet neighborhood, Oaks at Maple Ridge is really a nice place. The environment is very bright and clean with beautiful furniture arranged throughout in a way that invite individuals and groups interactions among themselves. The staff is very visible and friendly. They go above their expectations to make sure the residents are comfortable and their needs are met. Residents enjoy a variety of activities during the day. There are planned shopping trips as well as food excursions at a variety of restaurants around town. My relatives are. enjoying their privacy and the quietness of their apartments.

I give them a five in all categories. I can't say enough about the kindness of the staff. They recently got a new management company for which they work. There has been some turnover in leadership positions. There also been some lower level staffing issues. However, I attribute this to being part of the transition to a new management group. They are working their way through it. The bottom line is that my friend [name removed] is happy there.

I have been very pleased with the caregivers and management. Many caregivers have been there for years, which is impressive. They are very friendly and let you know if your loved one has been doing well that day or has been in a bad mood. Makes your visit easier when you know what to expect from them.

The Oaks at Charleston is a wonderful place. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist my mom when needed! They are ALWAYS doing things for the residents. Whether it be weekly outings or indoor activities! The food is wonderful and they offer many options. My mind is at peace knowing that my mom is in a wonderful facility!

My parents are enjoying the community there. They love having the extras of some physical therapy and help when they need it. I have enjoyed the staff and other residents as well! The food is good most days, but there are some salt issues. It is a very beautiful and homey place for my parents to live.

The friendliness of the staff gets a 5+. I just want to say that every one is just so incredibly nice and loving to our father. Me and my brother are visiting now and we just see how well he is looked after. It helps us feel comfortable living in VA and MD. [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed] gosh I can't remember the others names but all sooo nice. Also we were impressed when his wife [name removed] died they did a ceremony for him. Very impressed with the staff

The Horizons memory care staff at The Oaks were outstanding and very hard working. There is always a learning curve in a new setting, and they were able to quickly overcome. My mother was there for 17 months, until she passed, and I truly felt she was treated and cared for as well as family by every caregiver. She frequently expressed to me how safe and cared for she felt there. I would highly recommend this facility for care of any loved one needing memory care

The staff at Oaks at Beaufort are friendly. The housekeeping is fine. Communication with the family is good, but I am always visiting regularly so I know what to expect. I hear no complaints about the food. The current chef is friendly and open to suggestions and needs of the residents. I would recommend Oaks at Beaufort, as the price is good. It is a small facility, so it is easy to reach the staff. The facility has been very good to my brother so far.

The Oaks at Charleston facility is a nice one, but sometimes the repairs are a little slower. We did run into an issue but they were very accommodating. Based on the experience we have had with the Oaks, we would recommend this community to other families.

Amazing place, beautiful, SWEET, CARING staff!!! My daddy has not been here long but we feel like family. They are not only taking GREAT care of my daddy but they have helped me mentally explaining and helping me understand my daddy’s condition (dementia) which has been hard for me to understand. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. The meals are amazing - my daddy is hard to please but he talks about how good the food is….which is a great thing.

My sister complains about the meals sometimes, and I've had to ask a few times for them to clean her bathroom. I was glad to get rid of Guardian Pharmacy. I canceled them last year. They were horrible & very expensive. You should seriously consider offering to new residents Pill Pack by Amazon vs Gaudian. I have been very happy with them. Overall it is a good community, and I would recommend it. My sister also complained about not enough activities but she forgets a lot too so...

All 5's except meals, the only complaint my dad ever has there is sometimes the food is so great, some of the other residents agree. Although they have a new chef so we'll see what happens. I really like that it is a smaller facility, and they have even started a little gardening club since my dad told them how much he likes to garden.

The Oaks at Eagle's Landing is a beautiful facility. Every staff member I have encountered are attentive to our loved one, professional, and responsive.

My loved one is currently a resident at Oaks at Tucker and most everything has been very good for her so far. However, my loved one has not completely adjusted yet and her care is evolving as her needs do. Also, there have been staff changes. Overall, I would recommend Oaks at Tucker to others as an option for care.

Speak frequently with staff. They only want what's best. Really share about your loved one. Remember that they need the knowledge to be the best for your LO. And like any facility-visiting frequently lets them know you're on top of it all. You and the center are a team of caregivers. Your stress is released a good deal but you know them best. They have an amazing staff! I truly care about them all. This isn't a stretch. They also have GREAT monthly events.

My dad has been at The Oaks for 9 months. The staff members are very kind. The environment is clean and peaceful. I am thankful that my dad is part of this community. It’s been a very positive experience. Amy has been a huge help! She made this process easy. She is very knowledgeable with senior care and resources.
