Oaks Senior Living

Family and I are very happy with this new facility--we wish we had done this years earlier. Very happy with the cost per services being received. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Oaks at Conyers to other families.

My mom has been at Oaks Post Road memory care for a year now, and it has been wonderful for her. The staff is so loving and take really good care of her. She is more active than she was at our previous facility and is doing so much better. It's obvious the staff really cares. It is always such a pleasant atmosphere from the minute you walk in and it's very clean. If you are looking for a facility, I would absolutely recommend. It has become like an extended family.

My mom has been a resident for almost 2 years, and the Oaks has been a blessing for her, and us! The caregivers are compassionate and take good care of her. There are plenty of activities to keep her busy and she has made some really good friends, which was unexpected for this stage in her life. She enjoys the food (which has greatly improved). Management is always responsive and helpful. I would absolutely recommend Oaks at Post Road, for your family and friends!

It has an active living environment with a wide range of activities for all levels of residents. The other community I found was veering toward nursing home level with residents who were more inactive.Excellent staff and nice rooms. Healthy well rounded meals

I have already recommended them to one of my coworkers. They are very helpful and kind. The only problem I have seen is they sometimes are in too big of a hurry.

The Oaks is a very thought out floor plan, the inside is very inviting as well as the outside. The Residents are so inviting and love to meet new people, when you tour they are very engaging and will tell you how much the love living there. The food is wonderful, the activities are top notch! They have so many things going on for residents, I wish I could live in!! The staff is so great with the residents, you could not ask for anything better!! Run don't walk, because this place fills up fast!

The Community is beautiful inside and outside. Staff is wonderful, residents rave about how much they love living there. activties in AL and Memory Care are so engaging. I was so happy to see that so many residents were involved in Activities. The food looks and smells great! I will have to come have lunch with my Father. If you’re looking for a community, this one is Perfect!

Out of three previous assistant living facilities that we have dealt with, this one - Oaks at Eagles Landing is by far the best. The staff at the Oaks are phenomenal. I would recommend this community to everyone I know.

What our family likes the most about the Oaks at Shiloh Point is the location to our family, the diversity of the staff members as well as he diversity of the residents. We also like the cost of care and the amenities that are provided.

5 stars all the way around for the Oaks at Snellville. Based on the experience we have had so far with this community, we would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

It was close to my home and my parents were in a rush to find a place due to frequency of falling and leaving rehab soon and could not go home without 24 hour care and that was too expensive. Other places weren't sure if they could accept him. They also had a special at the end of the month. But we have been very pleased with how kind everyone is. We have enjoyed it and they have made it so easy for us and are very loving and concerned about both of my parents.

My sister has been a resident of The Oaks at Conyers for almost two years. Due to Covic,we've seen changes in the facility both good and bad. The staffing has decreased which has limited some aspects of some amenities offered. Friends who have relatives in other facilities when we compare notes tell me how blessed we are. A therapist once said of the facility that it was one of the best in Conyers.When I have a concern,it is addressed.When I leave,I try to tell the staff, thanks for all that you do. I really appreciate the care that my sister has there. .No place is perfect!

My loved one was a resident at Oaks at Braselton and the experience was great. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff and care services were also great. They were over and beyond in all areas. I would recommend The Oaks at Braselton, as well as their Memory Care and Hospice Care, to family and friends.

The staff appears to be very nice to my love one. They assist me when I need help with him and that I really appreciate. The meals I have seen lately looks very appetizing and his relatives comment on the plate. Thank you for your service.

Everyone there was very friendly, kind, and loving. They took excellent care of my Dad. We picked this community because of the location and the friendliness of the staff.

This has been a great experience for my mohter being from California all her life. {name removed] is truely a professional at making sure that we had the greatest transition ever. I truly chose Oak at StockBridge for its community and staff. Thank you again.

All facilities need to see family involvement. I would tell others to speak up kindly when you're concerned. Advocacy is important anywhere. I do think they could improve on the food. They could provide more choices for the residents, offer condiments for certain meals, and add in more fresh fruits. As staff gets to know your loved one (my husband), the care increases to your liking. It takes some time to know the little details Overall I would recommend Oaks at Mt. Pleasant to others looking for memory care for their loved ones.

I enjoy the Oaks at Grove Park. It's welcoming, the aesthetics (look and feel) are nice and clean, it's definitely a nice show place for family and friends as far as assisted living communities go. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help care for the residents, whether they need a lot of extra care or very little care. They keep an eye out on them which as a daughter of a resident who has dementia, is very comforting. There are only 2 things I would change. At another local community they had a 24x7 staffed front desk. At any time, day or night, there was a human being that a residents family could speak with. I wish the Oaks at Grove Park was staffed for this. It's almost intolerable that you have to go thru a voice mail system in order to get in touch with someone. They do have a nurses phone number that is available to call after hours, 9 pm- 9 am, but they are staffed in the Memory Care unit, not for the general population. While we can call that number, they have to then get in touch with someone on the Assisted Living side and then as a residents child, we have to assume they were able to do what we asked them to do. It's an extra step that I feel is unnecessary. Plus with someone staffed at the front desk 24x7, it provides an extra level of security and comfort for the residents but especially for the residents children. The second thing I would do is communicate more frequently with the residents family from the standpoint of either posting the monthly calendars and weekly menus on the Facebook page as well as emailing that information and upcoming special outings they will be taking. They had 2 apartments left, and one was a 1 BR so we grabbed it as soon as we could. My mother has made several friends and engages with her friends more than she did while in her previous community. The residents are friendly as well and quite frankly, they look out for and seem to take care of each other. At her former community if you needed more care you were looked at differently. At the Oaks, the residents are supportive of one another and welcoming of one another. No community is perfect there are some who are not like that - there are still cliques but nothing like I've seen at other communities. Also the management are very outgoing and friendly towards the residents and their families. They engage with the residents and help out when they can. It was the right decision for us and I'm glad we're there!

The staff members at Oaks at Alpharetta are amazing. They care and respect for one another. This creates an environment where your loved one is brought into this loving family. Based on the experience we have had so far with this community, we would recommend them to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.
