Morningside Of Gaineville is a good facility. They have him on a good diet, good food. He is getting good supervision. It is a good facility. He is happy down there.

We like Dogwood Forest of Stockbridge/Eagles Landing. Daddy is happy there. He has some friends there which helps. He actually has more visitors than when he lived at home. We are having trouble with helping with his ADL. One day he is on one shift and the next day is on another. There are just a few little things to straighten out. He has had a little problem with his foot. I didn't understand why they wouldn't do more care than they would. They said to bring in home health and I talked to his practitioner and he thought that wasn't necessary. The physical therapy person was a little pushy also. She hasn't even evaluated him yet but knows all about his deductible and so for. So I was't sure what the motivation on that was. All in all we are pleased with the place. Any time I go to them they agreeable to meet with me and work with me. The staff call him by his name and try to get to know his needs. They try to get him to engage him in activities. He is a veteran and they are taking him to the veterans parade. Overall we are satisfied with the experience. It has taken the burden off of me which is really nice.

We toured here when we were looking. We really liked it. It was elegant and professional. This was one of our top choices.

At The Oak at Post Road they do a good job. The staff make it a smooth transition. They listen to the individual needs of the residents. At this time I don't really have anything I would say needs improving. They have a tough job and they do really good at it.

Overall I think they do a good job at Dogwood Forest of Alpharetta. The facility is clean and well kept, and for the most part the staff is friendly and helpful. I really have no complaints, things have gone very well since my loved one moved in!

Our experience with The Oaks at Post Road has only been a brief one so far, but so far things have gone well. I'd give them high marks across the board, the facility itself is clean and well kept and the people are friendly. I do think they could use a few additional people on staff, but overall it is a very nice place.

Mom and Dad are happy with their new home as compared to another place they have lived. There is always room for improvement that can be seen once one is settled in any assisted living environment. Dogwood Forest seems to be all they claim to be but it is still necessary for residents and their family to point out where some details are lacking. I think this is mainly due to turnover of staff in residences like this and the attention to detail and customer care mind-set of each individual staff member. My siblings and I have found that our parents are not always willing to speak up but will grumble to us behind the scenes. So we take it upon ourselves to kindly point out to those in charge, the areas of concern our parents have. So far our small concerns have been well received and addressed....and that's a good sign! There are always questions you don't think to ask upon visiting a residence so I recommend each person who is searching for one, to think through your own day and the needs you have on a regular basis in order to make a list of items to ask about and get answers up front. For example, if a place says they do laundry, ask specifics about how it is done to determine how well your parent's belongings will be taken care of. Some places throw darks right in with the whites. For a woman who has been meticulous about her own laundry all her life will feel discouraged when her bright white items come back looking gray, which in turn could reduce her enthusiasm and morale. For someone who never cared much about how their laundry looked, this item wouldn't be a concern. You get the drift...watch out for the things that are important to your parent, not just to you.

I thought the facility was very, very nice. The only thing is that it seems a little older and it shows. However, The age of the building is not important to us, the care is. My loved one hasn't moved in yet. She will be moving in soon.

Staff is helpful and caring. Setting is homelike with many sitting areas both inside and out. Activities offered daily. Independent father doesn't find much for his interests unfortunately as he is a bit of an intellect and is still with it. Bingo , flower arranging, chair yoga and taking care of the aviary just aren't his thing. There are other choices not mentioned. Food alternatives are offered my vegetarian father as they flex to meet his dietary needs. Food is ok but could be more nutritious. Great weekly musical entertainment! Nice 2 bdrm for mom and dad. Staff has worked hard to meet moms needs re Incontinuance, gastro problems, and some dementia. Her adjustment has been hard, talk of moving her to memory care during adjustment has caused anxiety. They do have memory care where she will transition eventually. Christian home in nice location. Grateful.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The Oaks at Hampton seemed like a nice place overall, the staff were friendly and the facility was well maintained and clean. However this place seemed a bit more male focused to me, it has sort of a rustic lodge feel and more male residents. It was a nice place, just not the right atmosphere for my loved one.

Overall I think they do a good job at Gracemont Assisted Living. The staff here are friendly and professional, and they work hard looking after the residents. They do, however, seem a bit understaffed at times. All of the residents I have met seem happy and content. I have had a few issues with their billing service, more than once I have received invoices with incorrect amounts on them.

Nice and homey...friendly staff.Meals need to be upgraded. The food is not consistent, sometimes good, sometimes pretty bad. Should be a lot better quality of food.

Lisa the activities Director gave us a tour.She was very professional and seemed to really love her job and enjoy the residents. Lots of volunteers from Lanier tech, residents were busy, out and interacting with others. Property is very nice, clean and maintained well. The Former Director had been here for many years and is going to open a new Facility for Company in Canton this Fall.

Although young, Andrew Greeson was quite knowledgeable regarding seniors, their life styles and what The Oaks had to offer them to stimulate their interest and appetites. This is essentially a brand new establishment. Foyer is quite grand with a very open feel which leads into a front sitting area with a glowing 2 way fireplace. The dining rooms was likewise open and had a lovely view of the back walkway. The hallways seemed quite long and somewhat dark. The apartments had just one window each which made it feel somewhat closed in, and dark. Am not sure if this would be a good fit for mom.

They have just really done a good job making mom feel welcome and at home. The only thing I would say that probably needs to be improved is their sign-in/sign-out system. Other than that it is a great place and we would certainly recommend The Oaks at Post Road.

Having already toured three nearby facilities, I knew Dogwood was the right place for my mother when I visited. Barb, the community relations director, was very personable and seemed genuinely interested in my situation. The facility is very homelike, a good size, and not too formal. One concern that I had was that there is not a lot of outdoor space, like a garden for taking walks. Overall, our experience at Dogwood has been good. I feel confident about my mother being there. The staff are very compassionate, which is what a primary caregiver wants when a parent has dementia. There is room for improvement, however. More attention needs to be given to cleaning the residents' rooms. The activities are great, but when Dot, the activities director is gone over the weekends and for vacation, they are sparse.

Moved my mom from an Emeritus location in Buford, Ga that was terrible to Cameron Hall. You won't know it was the same woman who was wanting to die to the happy, smiley lady you see today. They residents at Cameron Hall are treated with love and dignity. I can't say enough goof things about the care givers and staff at Cameron Hall. They are fantastic.
