Oaks Senior Living

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice place! The staff were friendly, and the residents all looked well cared for! It is a great community, and is worth the price. They have different stages of memory care to help all levels of residents.

This facility rates high with others in the area. We are very happy with the staff, food, cleanliness, room, and activities. The staff goes beyond in helping the residents and family. We are very happy to be at Gracemont.

My Dad has been living at Gracemont Assisted Living in Cumming Georgia for approximately 3 months now and we have been very pleased with the facility. I like that we were able to furnish and decorate my Dad's room with his belongings from home, I believe it made the transition much easier. I visit my Dad 2 - 3 days a week and it is obvious that the employees truly care about the resident's.

From the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds of Gracemont, we knew this was a special place. I can't begin to tell you how beautful the facility is, you would need to see it for yourself. From the peacful tranquility of the beautiful lake, to the friendly staff, I was impressed every step of the way. Jessi gave us the tour, and she has the entire package...she's friendly, prepared, extrememly knowledgeable, and professional, but most of all, I knew she truly cared about the future of my mom. Jessi has a calling for working in an elder care setting, and she put my mind at ease. Gracemont is a facility you must see...your loved one can age in place and will put your mind at ease.

for medication management, as Dad is diabetic. The Oaks at Hampton is a relatively newer community and that is reflected by the cleanliness and good common areas. Dad needs help with several daily living activities, which we think is going well. The activity director keeps the residents busy and Dad has participated in many of them. He's taken advantage of the transportation by taking weekly trips to restaurants in the area. While The Oaks at Hampton has higher pricing, it met our needs better than others we visited. We are happy with our decision and feel that Dad is safe and secure.

This is the perfect community for my father since it feels like home rather than an institution. All staff and residents know each other personally and my dad loves that everyone knows his name. He is loved and cared for beyond measure and he repeatedly says what a wonderful place it is to live. Thank you Dogwood for loving and involving my dad.

Love love love this place. My mom has been so happy and loved there. The staff is amazing. I would highly recommend it!!!

My mother has been here for 3 1/2 years and our family loves it! Everyone is SO FRIENDLY and HELPFUL!!! My mother is treated like a queen! I am so thankful we found Dogwood Forest at Eagles Landing! Couldn't ask for a better staff of people!

This place was God-sent. The best every. So happy we found it. The best people every work here.

The care is excellent, and reliable. Great entertainment! I feel safe here, it feels like a big family.

Dogwood has a friendly, helpful atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door. The staff seems to really want to be there and is very helpful. Activities are available throughout the day, and residents help one another have access to them. Their special events are memorable, as I have attended the Thanksgiving dinner several years in a row. I have become friends with a number of residents and staff members in recent years.

Dogwood Forest is the second home I've lived in. I really love living here. The Executive Director and staff are excellent.

Very nice, clean facility.

My loved one has been here a little over a month, and he is like a new person! The staff have been able to provide the assistance he needs to have the freedom to move around, shower, get to and from common areas, etc whenever he likes, and it has really given him a lot of his confidence back! He liked it from the moment he first saw it, and was very excited to get moved in! The facility itself is well kept and clean, the staff are all very nice, and he loved the food. We also like that their pricing structure is all inclusive, and they are very fairly priced compared to other facilities we have used. We really couldn't be happier with this place!

They do a really exceptional job here, I'd give them top marks across the board. The facility itself is in very good condition, it is clean, well kept, and well decorated. The thing that impresses me most here is the individual attention they give to each of their residents. They're very personable, and obviously genuinely care about the people that they look after.

Sense of community feel. Casual laid back atmosphere, friendly staff...felt like it would be a good fit. Short drive to home.

I recently moved my step father into this facility. I don't know where to begin to tell you how awesome this place is. I moved my mother and step-father here three years ago in search of a place that would take good care of them. Well for three years I fought for good care of my parents but I always so disappointed. But The Oaks has been so wonderful. So refreshing from the others. They really do care. Everything about that place is great. The staff, the service, activities and food. My step father is doing so much better in this place. It's truly a wonderful place.

My grandmother is in care at this facility currently and I just completed visiting her daily for the past week, including the weekends. The quality of care being provided exceeded my expectations by far and deserves to be recognized. During this time period, I had the pleasure of being able to interact with a cluster of staff at varying levels and performing very different functions. I continued to be impressed with all the staff members I was able to interact with at all levels. I found the nursing staff to be courteous, attentive, and compassionate in terms of the various services they are providing daily to your client population. They have quite a stressful challenge and appear to deal w/ it successfully w/ patience, commitment, and compassion. Not only are the nursing staff responsible for the minute to minute medical care that the clients require , they also have to assist w/ meal activities in a very active manner. In closing, needless to say, I was beyond impressed w/ the quality of care being delivered at this facility; I found the surroundings, the staff, and the quality of care to be exceptional. You all should feel very proud of what you are doing to nurture our elder community.

I don't have experience with any other communities to compare this to, but so far we have been very pleased with the service from Dogwood Forest of Alpharetta! The staff have all been very cordial and friendly, and seem to take great care of their residents. They are attentive and professional. Whenever I visit it leaves me with a feeling of confidence knowing that my loved one is being well cared for.
