Very nice facility and staff. Facility was clean and well organized. Residents were friendly and seemed happy, even in the memory care unit. [name removed], the Marketing Director, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She didn't rush us through the tour.

AMAZING!!! We loved it- checked almost all our boxes on things that are important to us. Beautiful facility, TRUE restaurant quality good ( OMG) unlike most places who advertise that, but it’s not true. Staff were friendly, helpful, informative, kind, fun, really gave us a chance to experience the place. Love love loved it!

I have two family members in Oakmont of Folsom's Memory Care section. I am able to visit them a couple of times a week and every time I'm there, I find the staff very helpful, patient, and respectful of all the residents. The facility is always neat and clean and very welcoming. Dealing with dementia can be very stressful. I know I feel that way and I'm only there an hour at a time. The staff on the other hand is there all day every day of the week and I don't sense even the tiniest bit of stress from them. It is very comforting to know that my family members are being well cared for.

I have been living in Oakmont of Folsom for 2 years and find that I am increasingly glad to be here. The apartment is very comfortable. Spacious windows allow good light. The Individual thermostat provides personal comfort. My unit has a lot of closet space. Minimal furniture fits well in the rooms. The atmosphere here is so friendly and supportive. One feels they are part of a family that truly cares. The staff, care givers, med-techs, house keepers, and the waiters and waitresses carry out their duties in a positive way, uplifting the our spirits, and with great patience. I especially appreciated the care I received here after minor surgery. The activities and entertainment provided keep one from feeling lonesome or bored. Musicians perform for us twice a week, hands-on activities are available, teaching new skills or favorite pastimes with games, cards, or crafts. The outings with scenic drives or destination trips are anticipated and enjoyed. My family and friends like to visit

My mother lived with us when she was in her early 90’s. When we could no longer tend to all her needs, we made the difficult decision to seek other places for her to live where she’d have 24 hour professional care. Oakmont of Folsom has surpassed our expectations for comfort, safety and care. From those in charge to the maintenance staff, all take extra care to ensure my mother has everything she needs. The care staff are kind, patient, and basically treat my mother as they would their own grandmother. They treat her with respect and dignity. I can’t imagine a better place for someone who means the world to us. I highly recommend Oakmont of Folsom!

It's a very nice place. They waive the community fee due to my dad's income so that was nice. They were very communicative.

Mom ended up in the hospital for several reasons and was not able to return to her home. After a few days, the hospital called and told us we needed to come and pick her up as she was going to be discharged. This was our families very first experience of dealing with such an urgent situation and to find that perfect forever home for our mother. After contacting a few different facilities, we called and toured Oakmont of Folsom immediately, and that experience was one of the most comforting that any family could've had. The staff was patient, caring, sympathetic to the urgency and that day we had truly found and placed mom in her forever home at Oakmont of Folsom.

My mother-in-law has lived a Oakmont of Folsom for over 2 years. They have been incredibly supportive as she has needed more care. The helpers always have a positive attitude and are incredibly patient with her, even when she is in a bad mood. My husband and I are very gratefull for everything they do for her.

I chose Oakmont Folsom to support my mother’s recovery from a major health issue. She was treated with attention and dignity she deserves. The facility was always clean, smelled nice and the food was very good with proper portions and plentiful options. My mom felt comfortable there and enjoyed having visitors as well as making new friends.

I toured Oakmont in hopes of finding a facility for my mom. They did not have a private room available in memory care but the place is very nice and organized for the residents that live there. [Name Removed] was very compassionate and knowledgeable with any questions I had and would definitely recommend this facility for anyone looking for a place for their loved ones

My visit was delightful. The facility was attractive. The suite I saw was very comfortable and light filled (important to me). There was a range of activities going on. I was very pleased and impressed.

We enjoyed meeting staff, tenants and seeing the programs offered at Oakmont. The neighborhood is a plus as well.

My husband has been a resident at Oakmont of Folsom for more than 2 years. We love Oakmont and all the variety of support and activities that are available there. This week we took out-of-town family to visit my husband. They were amazed at Oakmont and commented on the decor; the warm, welcoming atmosphere; and the responsiveness of the front desk staff. They visited my husband’s room and commented on how spacious it was. When we took them on a tour, they loved the main living room and the reading room, commented on the quality of the machines in the fitness room and found the activity room attractive and inviting. At lunch in the main dining room they said they could not get over how good the food was. At some point, they asked my husband what he liked most about Oakmont. We all know to give him time to process questions but this time he didn’t need it. He immediately said, “My caregivers.” In all respects we could not have made a better choice than Oakmont of Folsom

I really like this place. The director of the memory care dept is critical for how the staff behaves. [name removed] at Ivy Park is a great example. Also determine as early as possible what the care level is going to be, it varies alit from about $[removed] per month.

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The place was very clean. The tour was excellent. The facilities were fantastic. Unfortunately they didn’t have respite care, which is something that I’m considering at the moment.

Love the place. Cat was amazing and the rest of the staff who I met were just as nice and enthusiastic about their job. The facility is clean.

Oakmont of Novato has been a godsend for me and my family this past year when I urgently needed to place both my dad and my mom into a secure facility. My dad, who has Alzheimers, was welcomed warmly into the Traditions facility and has made many friends. Despite his ongoing decline, he is well taken care of and thrives doing the activities, especially with Dean, the amazing Engagement Coordinator. My mom's situation was much more complicated and the whole team at Oakmont worked with me to navigate her accommodations and support as she recovered from a mental health emergency. With support from Oakmont, she has made a miraculous recovery and is moving from the Traditions side to the Assisted Living side this week. The whole team has been incredibly gracious during this challenging time and is actively supporting my mom navigate losing her husband to Alzheimers while also trying to rehabilitate herself.
