The facility is clean and bright with a warm and welcoming feel. The staff is very kind and responsive to all sorts of needs. They take care to give the facility an upscale but homey environment. We saw a large group playing bingo, and another doing yoga. There are so many different rooms and events that no one could possibly be bored or feel isolated.

I've been working with [name removed] who conducted our tour and has been assisting with questions. Her customer service is top notch. She is friendly, patient and compassionate. I am sure I've asked questions multiple times as right now every thing is over whelming, she has been so gracious.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional care my mother receives at Oakmont Folsom. After experiencing three other facilities, I can confidently say that none of them came close to the level of professionalism, compassion, and genuine humanity we’ve found here. The employees at Oakmont are highly trained, deeply informed, and most importantly KIND. They understand the nuances of each resident and meet their needs with such attentiveness that dignity is never compromised. It’s a rare and beautiful thing to see a team so committed to honoring each person as an individual. I haven’t even mentioned the culinary program, which is outstanding in its own right. But honestly, the exceptional care far outweighs everything else and the great food simply becomes a bonus for friends and family who visit. My mom is in such capable, loving hands that our entire family sleeps easier. That peace of mind is priceless.

My mom has been receiving great care at Oakmont Of Folsom for almost 2 years now. She always seems happy and in good spirits when I visit her on many occasions through out the month. I am comforted knowing she is being cared for at Oakmont of Folsom with love and respect. I would have it no other way. Mom seems happy and content to me, that is key when looking for a place for a loved one to be cared for! I’m grateful and I know mom is too!

Staff is very attentive to all resident's. The daily activities allow my mom to help with things, such as, arrangements for tables in the dining room. My mom's apartment is spacious and well kept. The entire staff are so professional. I am at ease knowing my mom is in a great living environment.

[Name Removed] had spent hours on the phone with me helping me to understand all the benefits of living at Sea Bluffs and reviewing the various ways in which to purchase condos there. Then when I went to visit the facility, [Name removed] was as cordial as could be and again spent a great deal of time showing me all the different areas of Sea Bluffs. It looks like a wonderful place to live. And if the rest of the staff is as patient, helpful, and cordial as [Name Removed] was, it would be an amazing place to live. Thank you for the wonderful visit to Oakmont of Concord. From the moment we were welcomed with my name on the table, it felt warm, personal, and thoughtful. We saw residents smiling and engaged—not sitting around looking unhappy. Each apartment had its own personality, with doorbells, wreaths, and inviting touches that made it feel like a real neighborhood rather than a facility. We left saying something we did not expect—we could see ourselves living there and did not feel the need to look any further. Please thank [name removed] for a truly delightful and easygoing tour.

Great tour of a beautiful facility. I like that someone with high-performing Alzheimer's can stay in assisted living. We can see my relative fitting in here and enjoying it.

Everyone is super friendly and there are enough activities to satisfy anyone's desires for different things to keep busy. They also give you space to be alone when you need that.

Very nice community good food, clean home patients are well taken care of and they take good care of parents make that great care of parents and the staff is very very helpful.

All fives. They are great. The move in was easy and the helped a lot making it easy. And my parents are really happy there. You pay more for them to handle prescriptions/medications. I think that's great because if you don't need help with that, you don't have to pay for it. My parents have complicated prescriptions and it's really important that we get it right. So we pay more each month but they do a great job.

I can’t say enough about Ivy Park! They take good care of my mom. The facility is great and the staff are the best! Everyone always has a smile! My mom loves the food and there is always an activity going on to keep her engaged.

From my experience, what makes this community exceptional is the attention to detail in every aspect of daily life. The staff consistently demonstrate patience, kindness, and a deep understanding of each resident’s individual needs. It’s not just about providing care—it’s about creating meaningful connections and making residents feel valued and heard. That level of attentiveness is something you don’t find everywhere. The environment is both comfortable and uplifting, with clean, well-kept spaces that feel inviting rather than institutional. There’s a strong sense of community, and it’s clear that residents are encouraged to maintain their independence while still receiving the support they need.

[Name Removed] the director of the MEMORYCARE is over the top hands on and continually training her staff. She answers every text email or call immediately and is personable with both the residents, staff and residents family members. Unfortunately my mom was in another facility for a year and a half before I finally decided to move her and then found Ivy Park Simi Valley. I have interviewed every facility offering MEMORYCARE in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley. Ivy Park Simi Valley is exceptional and the best!

Overall, I would rate this place a 4.9. The quality is very good, and my mom has had a positive experience here—she’s happier and has even gained some weight, which we really appreciate. There are just a few minor issues. Occasionally, some of the food can be a bit hard for her to chew or bite, the beef is sometimes slightly undercooked, and a few dishes are a little salty. Also, I can’t really comment on activities since my mom doesn’t attend them due to the language barrier. As long as the pricing stays where it is, I would still rate it very highly at 4.9. Overall, we’re very satisfied with the care and service provided.

[name removed] was great, he was very helpful and informative. My dad really likes the place, he still doesn't want to move, we have somewhere we know he'd be happy with when the time comes.

My father, [name removed] has been in Oakmont Memory Care for 2 1/2 months. They nurtured him and guided him through a difficult transition he had. Now he has adjusted, adapted, is very happy, and he loves all the activities and interactions he has with the staff and residents. I am comforted, in knowing my father is in a good place where he can thrive and be happy. Thank you Oakmont for the wonderful care. He truly feels at home now.

My family and I recently visited Ivy Park looking for a memory care facility for my father. As soon as we went inside, we were warmly greeted by [name removed]. She was very friendly and welcoming and willing to spend time to discuss whatever we wanted in relation to our specific needs and what they had to offer. As we talked, residents would come and go through the main entrance, and the staff would interact with them in friendly ways. We toured the memory unit, which was very clean and well lit, and the activities coordinator happened to be there. He was very friendly and welcoming, and he discussed the variety of activities that were available for the residences. All in all, the tour and interactions with the staff were very positive, and I highly recommend Ivy Park at Fullerton.

They were all very attentive, responded very quickly to questions and made the move in process quite easy. I would recommend for AL or memory care. They don't have IL, so its not full of IL amenities.

Overall Ivy Park at Cathedral hill is a wonderful place. There's activities every day and the activity staff is fabulous. There's a film showing daily and a library with lots of books free for the reading. Outdoor concerts are held, many entertainers are returning favorites. There's front desk staff are very courteous, kind and professional. They know most of the residents by name and take time to converse and ally fears or provide information. The caregivers are excellent at their jobs and I feel my husband is safe in their care. The food is always healthy and delicious. There's two choices for each meal and a weekly menu is printed out for anyone to take so you know what will be served each day for each meal. There's a "bistro" on the first floor adjacent to the lobby where coffee, hot water for tea and ice water are available along with various snacks (energy bars, cookies, chips and the occasional bag of peanuts) and fresh fruit. My big perk: a parking garage! At my husband's old facility there was street parking so I would have to lug his food/supplies through the neighborhood and now I can even leave things in my car if I have errands to do later. The cost may be a bit high but it depends on the level of care each resident needs; there's an evaluation before you even move in so there's no unexpected price surprises. I feel the prices are competitive for San Francisco and I did investigate more than a few facilities. Also an email sent to the front office will be answered in a timely fashion and there are plenty of staff on hand if a question or problem arises. There's a shuttle bus and car service available for shopping/doctor appointments. The shuttle bus is used for "field trips"--TJ's, Safeway, Golden Gate Park, and last year we went to a Giants game! A podiatrist comes once a month. You have to sign up for that service. And also a beautician is on call for hair appointments.
