I'm inclined to rate all of them at level five but I realize that I am biased because I'm so relieved to have my husband [name removed] taken care of. Also, I have no basis for comparison, this being the only care facility I have experienced other than quick visits. I am extremely satisfied with Oakmont of Redwood City, in particular, the staff who directly care for my husband. I can't read the food. I haven't eaten it, but I've sat with [name removed] when he eats, and it looks good and he eats it. When you walk into the place, it feels good. I suppose it's expensive, but as far as I'm concerned, it's worth every penny.

Definitely 5 stars. Mom loves it there. The staff is amazing. Always caring. They check in on her several times a day. The food is quite good with appropriate portions. The management team is also quite exceptional. Mom recently lost her husband of 53 years. Everyone has been so attentive to her.

We've been to several senior living facilities and we find your Ivy Park more to our liking.[names removed] & [name removed]were very helpful in explaining to us what you have to offer. The tour was educational giving us a glimpse of the facility. We definitely would consider Ivy Park as one of our choices when it's time for us to move on.

Incredible experience. The people are overly friendly, facilities are spotless and nicely decorated. Place is lively, residents are nice. 5 different staff came up to our dinner table to introduce themselves. It keeps getting better every time I visit. I am moving my mom in next week! People who are super nice, friendly, informative, accommodating: [name removed] in the dining hall (so polite and helpful, never bothered by my moms numerous questions), [name removed](aka [name removed]) who takes care of food (very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating), [name removed] who does pricing & move in (flexible, friendly, helpful, efficient... makes moving in easy), executive chef (friendly and you can actually give him recommendations once a week - wow), [name removed] who is Activities director (super friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming). I met all these people in literally a week - 3 visits. I fell in love with the place right away. They have everything (& more). I know mom will be more than happy there.

The staff at Oakmont are attentive to the residents. They are friendly to families and very professional. The food is very good. With a good variety of choices. The rooms are good size, comfortable and comfortable.

I did not have an appt and found myself turning into the parking lot of Ivy Park Walnut Creek last minute out of desperation to solve a very difficult situation with my father. Without any delay, I was introduced to [name removed]. who was incredibly kind and extremely accommodating with my last-minute drop in. He sat and listened intently to my situation and current needs and showed empathy & compassion for all I’ve been going through. He gave me a good amount of his time without distraction and never seemed to be in a rush to finish his visit with me, unlike most other facilities I’ve toured. It’s evident that he really enjoys his role at Ivy Park and truly cares for the people who live/work there and is quite proud of its environment. I’ve toured quite a few facilities and most marketing/sales directors have taken a very pretentious approach upon meeting me as if their facility is the absolute BEST than any other around, but he definitely did not take that approach with me at all.

Our mom is a thriving resident of Ivy Park at Fullerton and has lived there for 6 months. Ivy Park is truly a special place that offers a wonderful, caring and kind environment. The director and her staff are absolutely amazing, showing constant compassion and patience. Our mom enjoys eating well rounded delicious meals in the dining room, participates in the many various activities offered, goes on the weekly field trips, plays the piano in her free time and has told us multiple times how lucky and fortunate she feels to be a resident there. She appreciates living in a very clean, safe and comfortable space. She likes that she gets her room cleaned, bedding changed and laundry done and folded weekly. Mom has tells us that everyone at Ivy, staff and residents, are all very kind! Having our mom at Ivy Park has given our family such peace and assurance that this is the best place for her to live. She is happy and thriving and we are so thankful that she is a resident here!

Absolutely beautiful facility from the minute you walk in the door throughout the entire campus. In addition to the exceptional people working with me through this process, the entire staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. Many staff members were very engaged with the residents and truly seemed to enjoy their jobs. I couldn't have ask for a better experience!

The staff is incredibly friendly. They're very attentive. The residents were amazingly welcoming to our Aunt. The Food's really good. And they just generally take really good care of her and we really love it. It's a fabulous facility and I'm really glad that we found it for her.

It's been a long few months. Dad entered Ivy in March on hospice and passed in May. Mom also moved in to spend the last few months with him. She has dementia and was already in a different assisted living facility. The Ivy has done a good job helping us manage all the ups and downs. The aides and medical staff are great and regularly go above and beyond. They seem to care deeply about both of my parents. The 2 bedroom 2 bath that my parents shared was the perfect size. They each had their own nicely sized bedroom and bathroom and the living area had room for them to make it feel like home. Mom's current 1 bedroom is also big enough to make it feel homey. One of the things I didn't mention is the size of the facility. It is big enough to have all of the amenities and activities but not so large that it feels overwhelming. For example, the dining room is relatively quiet compared to the larger facility that Mom was in previously where it was almost unbearably noisy during peak dining hours. Also at the Ivy the med tech comes to your room. No need to get in line at a central wellness center.

I was there to hear more about potential options for my mother and happened to cross paths with [name removed] while walking through the grounds. She was so warm, friendly, and generous with her time just chatting with me about the community. Even though I wasn't there for an official tour, it was wonderful to hear about all the activities and see firsthand how meticulously kept up and clean the property is. Staff like her really make the place feel welcoming!

Choosing the right assisted living facility for a parent is one of the most significant decisions a family can make, and I am incredibly grateful we found this wonderful community. From day one, starting from the front desk team the entire staff has gone above and beyond to provide exceptional care for my father. Every single team member treats him with the utmost dignity, kindness, and respect. The level of attentiveness and professionalism here is unmatched, which gives our family immense comfort. Knowing that he is in such safe, capable, and loving hands brings me complete peace of mind. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking a warm, supportive, and dedicated environment for their loved ones

Everyone was very friendly and kind. There was only one caregiver we had some problems with, but everyone else was wonderful and tried to help as much as possible. When he first arrived, the care seemed excellent. During my visits, someone would come by several times to check on him, which gave me a lot of reassurance. Unfortunately, that level of attention seemed to taper off over time, and we found ourselves needing to use the call button more often. He was only there for a few weeks and was never able to get out of bed, so sadly, he didn't get the opportunity to experience the facility, grounds, or activities. That was difficult for me because I had hoped he would be able to enjoy more of what the community had to offer. Even so, he was definitely more comfortable there than he had been in the hospital. He was also eating better because he liked the food much more. Overall, we appreciated the kindness of the staff and the comfort they provided during a difficult time.

As we live overseas, we recently visited my Mom in memory care at Oakmont over a few weeks. We met numerous staff members who help to care for my Mom, they are all very friendly and knowledgeable while showing empathy everyone in their care. Being overseas, it is comforting to know how well Mom is being looked after at Oakmont. She enjoys the music and activities that are provided and a walk in the beautiful garden is always a highlight. I would highly recommend Oakmont at Silver Creek for both the assisted living apartments and the memory care.

Everything about this Ivy Park location was exemplary. My only issue was distance. I'm looking for something within 30 minutes of my home so this was just too far for me for continual travel. I will be looking at other Ivy Park locations that are closer to home as well as three or four other nearby locations.

Room sizes are quite nice. Unlike other Mem Care communities, Evergreen has kitchenettes in the MC apartments, which is nice to have a frig and a sink outside the bathroom. Staff is surely attentive all the way up to the director. Activities are constant, so no lack of things to do.

The apartment was a generous 2 bedroom model. We used one as a living room/office. The kitchenette was a little on the small side but very functional. There was space for a small dining (2 person) table. The facility had overall was kept up well. The common areas were neat and tidy. There was a major flooding (an AC or sprinkler was broken). It was quickly contained and a disaster team was called. It was all handled very well. The activities seemed great with a wide variety of things to do. Many of the residents looked forward to their outings ... which included trips to Costco, Trader Joe's, etc... but the driver also made sure she took them on scenic drives around the area. Other activities included social gatherings (music, singers, dancers, etc...) and art projects. The food was good. Nothing too fancy but the residents seemed to like it. The care- my dad went from needing moderate care, to needing slightly less care to needing a bunch of care ... all within a span of six weeks. They all seemed capable and caring even when my dad was more demanding/difficult. They were always professional. The care team managers met with us to adjust his care as things changed rapidly. I am a resident here and i see some of the negative things people say. Some people just like to complain. The past few years the community has gone so far beyond what we got when I moved in over 5 years ago. We have great activities and the our meals are amazing. In the past year our care people have so improved with [name removed] in charge. Nobody is perfect but it is a great place to live.
