Top notch facility! The lobby reminds me of a mountain lodge. Extremely clean, staff friendly and knowledgeable. Best cookies I’ve ever had (given to us as a thank you after the tour). We ultimately didn’t choose the facility because my Dad would need help with his dog and that wasn’t a service they could provide. However, everything else was outstanding.

I am a Las Vegas Realtor. I took my seller on a tour of communities that [name removed] at “A Place For Mom” provided based on [name removed] needs/wants. At Oakmont we were immediately greeted by the reception desk, a sweet young lady. [name removed] noticed the framed welcome sign on the entry table with both of our names on it, Classy! [name removed] came out to greet us & brought us into her office. She offered us beverages. She explained everything about Oakmont & the different amenities but most importantly she listened. [name removed] had a lot of questions & she could answer each one. He felt comfortable in her presence & heard. She gave us quality brochures. She took us to see the furnished & unfurnished models of the studio & 1 bedroom. She took him to see the one bedroom view of the courtyard and he was sold. She showed us every amenity & introduced us to staff who were all friendly. Oakmont itself is a beautiful & clean facility & the staff cares. Hard decision for him, but he felt welcome. He moves in soon. Great value

My father-in-law stayed here in his final months. The facility is very nice and well maintained. Food is good and they put a lot of thought into appropriate activities for the residents. The staff really provides a caring atmosphere. They also offer hospice through third party vendors.

It has been great. The staff are friendly and responsive. The food is good, and there's ample parking. Overall a great experience and we would recommend Ivy Park at Cerritos community to other families based on the experience

5 for all! Dad has been on a long journey to get to the place of heavy assistance that is currently called for. But, Oakmont of San Antonio Heights has handsomely fulfilled all those needs. We have tried at-home care, and three other residential placements. Other facilities were a bit lacking in attentive and professional care, or in hominess of atmosphere, or balance between freedom of movement and safety. I feel that Oakmont strikes a very good balance in all these areas. Admittedly, Oakmont is not the least expensive option we've tried. But, I do believe they serve Dad's needs better than any of the rest. Yes we would recommend this community to other families.

The accommodations for my Dad were just what he needed and made for him a comfortable living space. The staff was very accommodating as well.

Very nice facility. I believe I would feel comfortable with my parent living there. I Did not get to see the food, but the offerings/menu looked quite good.

All 5 so far!!! I'm in a casita- it's pretty expensive, but it's also the reason I chose to move there. I love it! The main building and my Casita are very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but not overbearing. I have found they work very hard to accommodate my needs or special requests. The food is good, and if you don't like the daily special choices, there is also a seasonal menu that can be ordered from. I have been extremely happy with my decision to move there.

My mother lived at Ivy park for the last 3 1/2 years of her life, and to say that it was a positive experience would just be such an understatement. It started off with meeting [name removed], who was the young woman who gave us the tour of the facility. She jumped through every hoop and imaginable to make sure my mom got the location that she would want that would make her the most comfortable and I was super picky about what I was looking for for her. [name removed] makes you feel like your family from the minute. You set foot in the door and then once you have signed up with Ivy park, you kind of expect the sales people to go away but not [name removed]. She becomes a part of your family. She loves her residents and makes them feel important . She knows the name of every single person who comes and goes and make sure that she greets everyone. When she comes out of her office , it’s kind of like paparazzi because they flock to her. Check out Ivy park but be sure you ask for [name removed] to give you your tour!!

Our tour guide was friendly, and the place was luxurious and well appointed. It’s clear that the monthly cost covers more than the basics. We liked the centralized structure that would make navigating easier, and the many community areas, like the library, art studio, movie theatre and rooftop pool. We didn’t get the opportunity to engage with many residents, but the few we met seemed to be comfortable and friendly.

It was very informative. It gave me a lot of information about Ivy Park; as to how it functions, and what services it offers, and what activities it offers. I appreciated the new insights it gave me.

Very nice place. Has been good for me because of the community effects. I need people around. Apartment is just the right size for the basics and getting around with walker and wheelchair.

The facilities are very nice. Bright and welcoming. Super clean and pleasant smells. The staff are very friendly and the people we spoke with seemed very knowledgeable.

This was an excellent facility and I really enjoyed touring. [name removed] was a great man and I really enjoyed his thorough enthusiasm and his thoroughness on explaining the facility and what it had to offer! He made it actually great to be there. He made it hard for me to figure out which ones I really wanted to go with!

All staff are friendly and attentive and it is always clean!! I appreciate how they invite families to participate in their activities. Their formal activities are decorated well and they invite the resident's families to attend. My mother is very happy there and has developed friendships to keep her engaged and not missing her family so much.

The facility is very nice. They have a lot of activities for the residents and seem to focus on keeping them active.

[name removed] gave an excellent tour and overall view of the residence. A pleasure to meet with and wa able to meet current residents and see their homes.

I would say 5 for all categories. The staff goes the extra mile, is friendly, and they always remember my mother's name and my name. The activities are well planned and creative and the weekly live music is such a treat for the residents. It is a cheerful, welcoming place to live.
