My tour experience at Ivy at Blue Oaks was absolutely exceptional from the moment I arrived. What immediately stood out to me was the incredible attention to detail and the genuinely warm welcome. Seeing my name displayed on the welcome sign made me feel personally expected and valued before I had even walked through the door. Even more impressive, the team members consistently welcomed me by name throughout my visit. That level of personal attention made the experience feel warm, intentional, and truly special rather than like a standard tour. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about Ivy at Blue Oaks. I left feeling that this is a place where people are not just cared for—they are known, welcomed, and treated as individuals. The entire experience was beautifully organized by [name removed] and incredibly welcoming. Ivy at Blue Oaks made a lasting impression on me, and the thoughtful way the team embraced me from the very beginning.

At Ivy Park, all of the caregivers, nurses, and staff are so caring and communication is great. The place feels so homey.

The staff was very attentive and supportive. They assisted at every level including through hospice to our loved one transitioning. They even helped on disposition of belongings. Highly recommend Oakmont.

Beautiful happy faculty. Both residents and staff. The layout is comfortable and cozy and it’s lovely that the layout is the same on each floor and that each had an inviting outdoor space. The ratio of caregivers to residents is also very reassuring

It is welcoming. It has a tranquil ambiance. It has charming nooks where you can talk to friends and family. I have not had a meal there but my friends say the food is very good. My best friend is happy there.

The staff is professional, caring and attentive. They consistently work with our family to help solve any issues/behaviours that may come about with our family member. The landscaped grounds and outdoor spaces are peaceful and beautiful. The foot is amazing and plentiful.

Mom was resistant to moving from her home. After a month she has settled in nicely. She thanks me nearly every day for finding her such a nice community. Has already started making friends,and uses in onsite hair salon every week. My niece came to visit and said it felt like a resort.

Staff is fantastic. They know the residents and their particular needs/quirks. There's activities every day--a calendar for the next days' activities is left outside each resident's door every afternoon. There are daily outings to various spots in SF--we went to a Giants game last week and there are trips to Golden Gate Park, theater, Safeway and Target. There's a film shown twice every day. Various artists, singers, etc come and entertain. There's always something to do! There are two dining rooms. One on the third floor and one on the fourth floor. The food is good. The chef takes great pride in serving healthy meals. The Ivy is very clean. There are staff members constantly sweeping, vacuuming and there's housekeeping service for your room weekly. There are even self use laundry machines if you want to do your own laundry. The staff is very knowledgeable about the place and very professional and friendly. There was a bit of a kerfuffle when my husband's Kindle got accidentally thrown out. I spoke with the executive director and he ordered a replacement while I was in his office. He personally delivered it the next day! The apartments are very nice. My husband's room has a fridge, a microwave and a bathroom with a spacious shower with bench. There's a walk in closet and plenty of cabinet space. I'm very happy with The Ivy. I feel my husband is safe and well cared for there. When he starts running out of his meds someone calls me so I can bring in refills. They have a pharmacy they order from but it's cheaper for me to buy some meds and deliver. (Fish Oil is cheaper at Costco--Medicare's charge for the pharmacy brand is over $[removed]!) All in all I am very pleased with Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill. I can't say enough good things about the place and the staff. Something I didn't mention is that they have their own garage, which is so helpful here in SF where parking is hard to find. It's so easy to bring supplies for my hubby. They'll supply what you need (APUGS, wipes, gloves etc) but it's cheaper to buy and bring my own. I don't have to schlep anything for blocks and I can leave things for errands etc in my car and not worry about it.

We recently moved my stepfather into The Carlotta and he couldn't be happier. He is making new friends every day, he is interacting with the staff and enjoying his meals and the services provided to him. The logistics of the move were a little complicated (we moved him from Washington) but The Carlotta helped us with referrals to rental furniture until his belongings arrived, referrals to getting his cable and internet connected and helped us with the logistics of most aspects of the move. He is looking forward to when the weather cools off a bit and he can enjoy the nearby golf courses.

I've been very happy with [name removed] stay at Ivy Park San Jose. The common areas are always very clean , the staff is friendly and on point to make sure everyone is behaving themselves and trying to include everyone that wants to participate. I haven't stayed for any meals yet but the occasional snacks are good quality. Her bedroom is large enough that sharing it with another resident doesn't seem crowded. Good communication from the staff about any changes or issues. Overall good experience

Beautiful community and friendly staff. Everyone in the community was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great tour and the takeaway cookies were a bonus.

Overall, we are very pleased with the community. Dad has a very comfortable room and I couldn't have asked for a better staff. They are very attentive to dad's needs. I would like to see more activities for men. I understand there is a greater number of women there. My dad is not interested in the sewing club or the baking club. I know they are trying to find things he may want to do. All that aside, We made an excellent choice with this community.

The room is great. Housekeeping staff is friendly and thorough. Dining hall and meals are a fun time to socialize. Lots of activities and transportation to appointments and shopping are available. Management staff always available for any needs. Love it here.

My Dad was treated with kindness, fun, and lot of love The staff was always pending of his needs, kept him busy and always care for his proper medication His last days, we were constantly informed of his health status, and assist us on whatever we needed ! Overall is a great site , clean, a lot of social activities and good food!

OAKMONT is a wonderful place for the care of my husband who is paralyzed. The staff is always there to help him whenever he needs anything like his diaper changed. The food is 5 star! Delicious. The facility is very clean. The gardens are gorgeous and have lovely paths to stroll along with all the colorful flowers in bloom. His room is very nice with plenty of room for the furniture. My husband has been in other facilities and none of them compare to OAKMONT. I am so thankful that we found this home for him! I visit every day so I am very aware of how things work here and I couldn't be happier with everything that this place offers.

I recently visited a dear friend who moved here last May. She invited me to a Hawaiian-themed party organized by the company. I was truly touched by the warm atmosphere they’ve created for assisted living and memory care residents. The food was delicious, the lively music uplifting, and the dedicated programs director and staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was enjoying their time. It felt almost like being in Hawaii itself. My friend kindly showed me around the beautiful gardens, the spacious theater which I loved, and the busy calendar of activities designed to keep residents engaged. I’m considering moving in soon to experience this caring community firsthand.

Staff is amazing. I love that they know my family when we visit and everyone knows my parents. Community is always clean, food is good and there's a variety. We love the events they have.

Great, caring and compassionate staff. Very nice location. The residents all seen genuinely content.

My sister has lived at Ivy Park’s Memory care facility for the past year and a half. The facility is beautifully maintained and fresh. The staff are all friendly and attentive to my sister and other residents. Even though my brother and I visit daily, staff conscientiously calls or texts us with any questions or needs. We have no intention of moving my sister from this facility. Lots of group activities are provided for residents.
