This was a nice community. It was more expensive than we wanted. The staff were very nice to work with.

I also want to thank [name removed]s leader[name removed] along with her lead and care team. She has built a fantastic team during a difficult time. Each has provided updates, shared funny stories, wonderful photos, hair braiding, daily coffee, and our 6:00 then 4:00 pm FaceTime! From all that to everything in between that you do to keep each resident safe and happy, thank YOU! I know an entire team at work makes Sunrise of Burlingame hum along. Those who provide meals to those at the front desk or create new adventures indoors and outdoors. Thank you for your smiles, your ideas, and your love. Last but certainly not least! Sending love and gratitude to the wellness team at Sunrise of Burlingame, who provides the best care anyone can ask for in keeping tabs on each resident's medical needs, informing me of changes, and maintaining those doctors on their toes. There are simply not enough ways to thank [name removed], this incredible woman who gives care, guidance, and support to both families and staff in her facility. [name removed]and I have laughed, cried, and come up with some great ideas to bring love and light during a horrible time in history we call a pandemic. Every day and on weekends, she goes above and beyond with her messages to put family members at ease. She opened the doors at Sunrise safely, and through her strict adherence these last two years, she kept the virus at bay. She put up with a lot and sailed through it with grace and understanding when others in our world, not so much. The light and love [name removed] brings to all do not go unnoticed by me, my mom, and our family. Thank you, [name removed], for always being there to welcome ideas, create a home, hire exceptional people, and ease a concerned daughter's mind!

My mother lives here for more than 8 years. I have visited her very often and know quite well how this facility really is. The location and the size is wonderful. New management Ivy Park puts in positive effort to improve it. The care staff are compassionate and patient. It serves all 3 meals in a restaurant style. Food is healthy for seniors. Van service is convenient also. Overall it is a gem.

This was quite a journey for mom, myself and my entire family. We toured almost every community in the area and the moment we walked into Sunrise we knew it was where mom would call Home! She lives in the Terrace Club Memory Care; the fact that they offered Terrace Club was what impacted our decision to move her into Sunrise. This community is so Welcoming and the staff is Extremely Attentive.

We have been very happy with Ivy Park. We were leery at first and looked at many places. They really worked with us and made us feel more comfortable. She is in the early stages of dementia and after they assessed her, they felt that she was not ready for memory care. They gave us a perfect room in the very front for her. For what we were paying based on other places we think it is a really good value especially for the quality of care she gets. From the moment we walked in, all of the residents and the staff have been really welcoming. My mother is absolutely thriving here. She is able to be social and make lots of friends and doing activities. We think this was the perfect fit for her and it is a fantastic facility.

The transition from rehab to Sunrise of San Marino was flawless and seamless. They've been very attentive with not only our family members but obviously with Mom. I've been very pleased. The facility is very clean. The staff are incredibly friendly. Mom tells me she loves the food, and the menu is diverse. The activities are great as well. I'm very, very happy with her there. Everything has just been amazing!

This community is well worth considering for you or your loved one. They have activities at this community like group sessions where the residents get together and sing. THere is not that much to do but they do have a van that takes the residents to town for a certain charge per hour. My loved one was not here for long but it served its purpose for while we needed it.

This was my first choice for a community but did not have the staff to offer the level of care that my loved one needed.

Sunrise of Bonita was awesome, we were very impressed with the facility and they were our first choice. The only reason we did not choose to have my father here was he needed a place where they could speak Spanish because it would make it much easier for him to adapt.

We had a very nice tour at Sunrise of La Jolla. I liked it, but Mom didn't want to be in the city where there's traffic. She was looking for a more peaceful and quiet setting.

Our family had an in person tour and there was nothing wrong with this community, we just needed to find that "perfect" place. The staff were all very nice, informative, eager to help and solely focused on understanding our loved ones needs..

They answer any questions we need. They are very compassionate. The front office staff was misinformed during the beginning. My loved ones laundry went missing due to not being labeled with her name. It seemed to work itself out over time. They do a good job of making sure her medicine is taken and foods are pushed. Our loved on really looked forward to the food.

It was excellent.

It is a really good community for my loved one. I feel my loved one is being taken care of well here. They are lacking a credit card payment portal and a variety of entertainment. The staff are open to any questions or concerns I have via phone, email, or in person. The food has been very good for my loved one. There has been a new chef that has been hired. The food is low in salt with a variety of options for the residents.
