The activities director is one of the main reasons we went with Oakmont of El Dorado Hills. She is so enthusiastic and excited and you can tell she loves her job. She rounds up all of the residents and gets them engaged in all of the activities. She is just such a bright light. The staff are very respectful to my mother and are great with communication. They are cordial and always greet you with a hello. They know all of the residents by name and are very personable. They have a good variety on the menu from what I have seen so far. I know that she is safe and well-cared for. Overall it has been a positive experience and I feel comfortable having my mother here. I do think it would be helpful if they would give new residents/families a directory of peoples names and their roles at the facility so we know who to call if we ever have any questions or concerns. But you can always ask the front desk staff and they will get you through to who you need to speak with.

Good community there were no vacancies for my loved one.

Oakmont was very good. They did what needed to be done for their residents. They were good at interacting in a very positive way with the memory care patients. No matter how difficult the situation was, they seemed to be up for it.

They are very helpful. When my aunt has an issue they call, and they do a weekly update of her health ( weight, blood pressure and behavior). They make sure she is engaged with the other residents. I feel so much relief of the pressure I was dealing with.

This was a fabulous community. It was more than we wanted to spend, though.

Thank you for recommending this facility - I'm glad they have endorsements within the community. A former neighbor and friend moved into one of the apartments and I went over to help her unpack and get settled. I was hugely impressed with everything! There was plenty of parking; the lobby entrance was grand and beautiful. I felt like I walked into a hotel. I was greeted kindly by the receptionist and directed down the hall to my friend's new home. We went for a walk with her dog around the grounds - mature trees provided lots of shade and there were benches for sitting all around. The ground was even and she moved smoothly with her walker and her pup on a leash. Lots of grass too! Her room is beautiful; she's on the first floor and her ceilings looked vaulted. The bathroom was twice the size of one in a regular home and the bedroom large and spacious. The amenities are great - a lounge for playing cards with chess boards setup waiting for players. What a great place!

The people were very nice. It is a beautiful and gorgeous facility. It was a larger community and very expensive.

My husband has been in the community for almost a year. He is well taken care of, it's safe and clean. The staff is friendly and keeps me informed on his well being.

I am now a regular photo booth vendor for Oakmont of Orange, and by far, I find myself at this facility the most out of any other. They provide regular wholesome fun for their residents through a barrage of stimulating and entertaining activities. The care they show is top notch.

[name removed] and her staff are wonderful. They make you feel like Oakmont family. [name removed] and his activities are part of what makes this place special. Tours by [name removed] are amazing and [name removed] and care team are angels on earth.

My loved one couldn't be happier here. They love this community and where they are at. I'm very pleased that we made this choice to choose Sunrise with A Place for Mom. I feel that my loved one feels at home in their physical space, and the assistance my loved one receives is great. This allows my loved one to be engaged with activities, and other residents. The experience has assisted in helping my loved one feel a sense of community by being here.

We have been very happy with Sunrise of San Marino so far, it has been a great experience. The staff is just incredible and works very hard - they seem like they all work very well together as a team. When it comes to the meals and dining service they do a phenomenal job it has been exceptionally good. We really like that the community is not to big, its not overwhelming but is more of an intimate setting. We would highly recommend to other families.

Casa Sandoval has more square footage by a long shot over the other facilities, that was my main driver. It's the ONLY place I could find in the Bay Area that could fit two twin medical beds in the same room. It's also very beautiful, comfortable, ambient and very resort-like. We would definitely pick Casa Sandoval again, but be mindful that each floor has different levels of care with different providers. I say that because we ended up going to a floor that wasn't as conducive. Some floors offer independent living, while others have assisted living. I would tell future prospects to ask questions and see to it that level of care corresponds to what floor you choose for your loved one(s).

This facility is great, it's more like a resort. I can't say enough good things about it. The food is good, I have eaten there several times. The staff is lovely. They are very attentive and involved with the residents and families. Communication between the facility and family is also very good. The number of activities they have available is beyond our expectations. They do housekeeping and laundry and do a great job. The only thing we find lacking is the turf on the dog park, it gets too hot for the dogs to walk on. I think grass or even some shade would really make a difference. Overall, we are very satisfied and would recommend this facility to friends and family.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. They make you feel welcomed, at home and included in the community. The residents are really supportive and friendly. My loved one has made a number of friends, in a short period of time.

The trip to BBQ was so delicious and loved to be able to sit outside in the patio area. What a great day!

The community provided everything I had requested. I was very impressed with the care that my loved one received in the short amount of time my loved one was in the community. The staff communication with the family was good, and they were responsive to all of my questions that came up about my loved one along the way.

I have already told friends about Oakmont of Fresno. This is a great community and if I could live here, I would. The management really care about the residents and families. The staff communication with the family is good. There are times I do have to call a few times to get an answer to my question here or there. However, if [name removed] gets involved the staff are quick to respond.

I selected Crescent Landing because of the grounds. My cousin loves the outdoors and walking. There is plenty of space for activities and dining. The staff has always been professional, knowledgeable and kind.

I work as a Community Liaison in the industry. Anytime one of our patients or many calls from word of mouth I automatically call Oakmont West Las Vegas. The vibe when you walk in is home. Everyone is happy, upbeat even when the day isn't going well. The food is outstanding, Residents are in line 30 minutes before the doors open looking for what's for breakfast?,lunch?, dinner. The chef and the nutritional make sure every meal is prepared with the adequate protein and calories needed for the senior population. The care staff is truly an amazing creative team. Not to mention the multitude of events that take place for the Residents..there is always something to fit any personality. As, I said in the beginning Oakmont West is my go to facility if someone is needing placement for their loved one. 100% recommended and vetted. Being in the industry for almost 20 years I feel I am an expert at IL, ALF and Memory Care situations and placement needs.
