I feel like the staff doesn't communication with families . I do not feel that I get a response untiI push it . I feel like my loved one doesn't get the attention my loved one needs because my love one can be difficult. I feel like they don't try with my loved one anymore.

They present t and offer a lot more than they actually really do. We had to complete 68 pages of electronically signed papers. For five weeks it cost over $10,000 there and we were really disappointed with the service that were promised and not delivered. They made a major medication error that continued for nine days before it was resolved. I didn't feel very happy and safe being the basics precaution weren't being followed like hand washing. They painted a beautiful picture but did not deliver.

The nursing staff and the food are good, but it is very expensive to live there. The average cost for my mother to live there now is $7,000 per month. Sometimes it’s closer to $8,000 per month. It all depends on her care level. When she doesn’t feel well her care level goes up. My mom has been living at Sunrise of Claremont for ten months and the cost keeps going up. In September I was billed $17, 068.18. I don’t know what those charges are for. She wasn’t even sick in September. I am currently disputing those charges. Those charges only include her rent, meals, and the care services she receives. Anything extra, like incontinent supplies, haircuts, guess meals, tray services to her room, laundry services, etc. are added to your monthly bill. You must also provide your own hygiene and linen supplies. They will provide transportation to some doctor appointments, depending on the scheduling, but a family member has to accompany the resident to the appointment. They will not provide transportation to regular medical appointments like dialysis. There are weekly site seeing outings that are free, but outings to restaurants are added to your monthly bill. They also have exercise classes, bingo, and weekly church activities.

I specifically am looking for a two bedroom arrangement. This facility only has one bedrooms.

Outdoor living space was small and sad. I was told no outings for memory care. Did get a call back saying they were changing that. On my tour they actually said it was against the law to let them go on outings so that concerned me as that did not seem correct so I was glad they called to clarify. The inside was beautiful too bad the outside space fours not match. Thy also said my mom was not free to go in and out ar her leisure. This set up just did not work for us as my mom needs to be able to enjoy the outdoors throughout the day.

Nice staff and rooms, price was good. Place just felt stale. Not a lot of people moving. Perhaps low key given it was Sunday, but it was a holiday and not a lot of activity.

There is no independent living.

When I arrived a contagion sign was on the front of the facility. In addition I do not like showers outside of the room. On the positive it is has nice grounds and a wry positive outlook on care.

Shows its age. Doesn't have a nursing home facility on the premises. Doesn't have a buy-in requirement which is a plus.

Pleasant medium sized community with a homey feel. Staff was friendly. Seems like most of the residents need a higher level of care than my mother does currently and activities and amenities are geared to that level so may not be a good fit for her now. I liked that they match the same care giver with the same patient on each shift.

We toured at Sunrise Villa and loved it. It's a very cozy community with fireplaces and nice sitting areas. However, the rooms were smaller than we would have liked and they type of care my loved one needed at the time was more intensive than they were able to provide.

it is too far from doctors, they don't have anyone to help her up if she falls.Price is ok but Just not a good fit. people are great there

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions and concerns. It was just so small and didn't have room to move around. It looked clean. It just wasn't a good fit for my husband. I would recommend families tour this community before choosing a place.
