This community is clean modern, and nice. The staff doesn't have a lot of follow through, and there is no response to calls or emails from management. There is no ability to get to the right person. The medical technical room are very responsive. Some of the hiccups in the beginning could have been avoided if there was a care meeting in person at the beginning of my loved one's stay. The food is unappetizing for the residents and really bland. Overall the community is short on staffing, and the community knows it. Medication management, and bathing are a few of the care items the community is able to assist my loved one with. They do a good job. Changing of linens, the room, basic cable, housekeeping, all utilities, and three meals a day are included in the monthly rate. The activities director is amazing! The residents have lots of activities to choose from to participate in, if they would choose too.

This tour was good, we were referred by someone we knew that was close with the tour guide. This community was fine but there was no outdoor courtyard. This was one of the first places we toured for our loved one.

It is very chaotic here. Crescent Landing doesn't pay attention to those residents who are not high functioning. I would not recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I was very disappointed in our experience. The director was disagreeing with the family moving our loved one out of the community, and I felt this was inappropriate. In the beginning the staff was great to work with in the first couple of weeks. After that it was difficult to find someone to check on my loved one. Once we were in the community I felt it was a bait and switch from what was told to us. The front desk and marketing team members were great to work with.

The meals and dining service is definitely good, and they have plenty of activities between the movie theater, outings, a hair salon and movie salon. The physical point of view - the building is beautiful, the food is amazing, the community is spotless our loved ones room is spotless and she is spotless, it is a great value and the money is completely worth it. However, when it comes to the attention and awareness of our loved ones medical needs the money is not worth it. If they are able to get a handle on what is causing the individualized care to lake this would be an amazing community.

A random staff member showed me around the community and I never met with the staff member who I made an appointment with.

I did not care for this community too much. It was just something about this community that did not sit right with me and did not seem like the right place for my loved one. They did a great job with the tour and was able to answer all of my questions and give me all of the information that I needed.

I do feel for the workers, they really try their best to take care of all of the memory care residents and I know that is a hard job. It is a very nice place to have your loved ones. The only issues we have had have been with some of the residents. Overall I would recommend them to other families looking.

This community is an option however, there may be better options for your loved one to pick from. They do not have many activities due to covid at this time. However, I have seen some music and art activities for the residents to do. The food is very slow in coming to the residents and often times it is cold by the time that it makes it to my loved one.

This community was nice it was just not in the budget that we were looking for with our loved one. The tour was not the best and we did not get all of the answers that we were looking for with everything

we toured Oakmont of El Dorado Hills and upon first impression it was a 3/5. we chose another community because they had better activities. we also liked the way they received my mom and our family.

Good community, we wanted more room for my loved one to roam in memory care.

We toured with Sunrise and the tour was not as thorough as we would have liked it to be. The facility was more suited for individuals who need more care, and my loved one was not at that point yet.

For what it is I guess it is good. I feel like the nursing staff and the efficiency could be improved some and it would make the community even better. My loved one does not like the meals and does not eat a lot of the meals because he says they are so bad.

Looks great from the outside but this facility has a long way to go insides. Memory care is short staffed and stretched. TV primary source of activities. Care staff is doing best they can. Administration is hands off and has a high turnover rate. 3 Executive Directors in less than 1 year.

Staff is friendly and caring but extremely understaffed by caregivers. My mom's apartment is frequently not cleaned with dirty clothing stacking up because of staffing issues.

This community was great it was just not what I was looking for or needed care wise.

Sunrise of Claremont needs a major face lift. They had extremely friendly staff. But the facility looks like what you would think a nursing home would look like. It wasn't clean. And those things were reflected in the cheaper price.

It's not really good here right now. They do not have enough staff. And during a recent Covid lockdown, the staff forgot to feed the entire second floor one evening, and the people couldn't get out. There's some real craziness over there because they do not have enough staff. And we're not really thrilled with them right now. Our loved one does like the food. During lockdowns they've had no activities, although they are doing more again recently. We've had problems with the laundry service. They were supposed to be responsible for washing her clothes at least once a week. Come to find out they haven't been, and every time I would try to find the head caregiver, she was never there. These Covid lockdowns have just caused a lot of craziness, and the staff is so shorthanded. But the place is clean. And everyone when I go there is very nice. But I have to call them often, and they're not good at following through. They try very hard. It's just frustrating. We're paying a lot of money for the place, and we do an awful lot there and have to go quite a bit to make sure everything is okay.

It's very corporate. There's no ability to work with anyone. In our case, there is no ability to change recipes to make food gluten free for my mom. If you try to get an answer, it's a corporate answer. The staff is always changing. You establish relationships, and then it changes. The staff that are there are pretty good, but the turnover is horrible. My mom is gluten free, which was a big thing in our selection process. The sales lady said no problem. She said they have a chef, and he knows everything about gluten. He'll be able to meet your needs. By day 8, my mom ended up in the hospital with seizures because she'd had so much gluten. Oakmont then told us they only manage sugar and one other dietary restriction - not gluten. I wish they would make more accommodations to make their resident's last years of life less miserable and more enjoyable. And I think it costs too much. In the beginning, I perceived the higher cost would mean a higher level of service. But now, I think it just goes to somebody's corporate pockets.
