Pros: Clean, modern décor. Excellent, friendly staff. Cons: Parking very limited. Expensive. Yes, we would recommend Oakmont of Agoura Hills to other families based on the experience so far.

We placed my Mother in law here last February and couldn't be happier with her/our experience. The staff is so friendly and very professional. They really care for each individual resident with excellent nursing and their assistance with taking medications. The facility is clean and tastefully decorated, the food is fresh and healthy, and they offer a calendar full of daily and monthly events. My mother in law is very happy not to be lonely anymore as she can sit and visit, play games, or just people watch. We know that she is in great hands while we navigate through her aging and next steps. Highly recommend Ivy Park in Murrieta!!

Ivy Park has very friendly, competent, and caring employees that work there. From the nursing staff to the kitchen staff to the front desk, they are all so friendly and care about all the people that live there and their families. We’ve been very happy with our mom there. Also, they do a lot of activities, take my mom on van rides and take her to Target when she needs it. A+ facility.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of meeting with [name removed] who gave us a tour of the Sea Bluffs assisted living building. We were very impressed with [name removed] kindness, knowledge, and easy going professionalism. She answered all of our questions thoroughly and got back to me promptly when I emailed her with additional questions. The facility itself is quite beautiful as are the grounds. We were invited to have lunch in the dining room, which has a beautiful ocean view. The food was truly exceptional with a lot of variety, and the service was caring and attentive. We were impressed with all the activities offered. My sister in law and brother in law are looking forward to moving in as soon as an apartment becomes available.

Oakmont is a great place for my Mom. I searched all over the Torrance area and there are many choices, but Oakmont was great because it's relatively new, the staff and managers are all very responsive and friendly and they have lots of activity options for my mom. The rooms were also more spacious than most with available stoves and in-house washing machines for some of the rooms.

My friend is a resident of Ivy Care Milpitas. Since her arrival there, my friend has rediscovered her outgoing self. I attribute this to the outstanding respect and care that is given to each resident. The entire team there is outstanding. A high-five shout out to the director of the memory care unit for creating a vibrant living environment. Themed ‘parties’, lots of music and dancing, activities, lots and lots of smiles, and most importantly, acknowledgement of each resident's individual needs. No one feels excluded. The director is always visible and available to the residents with a smile, a kind word and an enthusiasm that radiates and envelopes all in one big feel good vibe.

My mother moved into Ivy Park 2 months ago and it has been really great for her. She used to live a home alone and not do much. Now that she is at Ivy she has been very active with going on the outings and participating in activities daily. She has made new friends and she sits with when she goes to the dining room 3 times a day. She has also gained weight from eating more often with the meals being cooked for her. I am really happy to see that she is doing so much better now that we moved her there.

My parents instantly loved it and put down a deposit the same day they toured. They didn't even look anywhere else! They are very happy there, and say everyone on staff is friendly, helpful, and funny! Overall, we are all very pleased, and A Place For Mom was the easiest thing I've ever experienced. I am truly grateful y'all exist!

Ivy park is very accommodating to patients that do not want to participate, because they understood his pain and tried their best to help him through it! I would recommend Ivy park to anyone who needs quality care for a family member.

My friend is doing so well since moving into Ivy Park Milpitas. She’s happy, feels cared for, and really enjoys the people and activities. The recent events have been great, and it’s nice seeing her so comfortable and thriving.

The staff on the memory care side is exceptional.

We moved my mother to Sea Bluffs after looking at a lot of places. She made the final decision but it was unanimous. Now that she has been there several months, we know it was the right decision. The staff is absolutely wonderful- so attentive, patient, kind and good natured. The facilities are well maintained and attractive and the view from the dining room is fabulous. Mom had lived near the ocean for many years so for her to be able to see it every day is really special. So many activities and such great variety means something for everyone each day. Mom’s made good friends already.

My only comment regarding #2 the cleanliness, is that is has been clean but there have been some plumbing problems that have caused overflow and smell. However, with that being said they have continued to address it quickly. I just really like the facility

First of all, all the staff (from management down to workers) are very friendly. They made me and my loved one feel at home right away. We feel very comfortable staying at Ivy park because of everyone's smile & saying hello. Even the residents are lively & friendly. My loved one and I enjoy the every day activities, movies & documentaries. Most of all I enjoy the live music. What makes Ivy Park stands out is the warmth feeling it radiates throughout the community.

The staff is outstanding - the care they provide is genuine and comes from the heart. My mom felt welcomed, safe, and cared for from day one of her move. Oakmont is modern, clean, bright, and warm. It has a beautiful outdoor space for the residents that is a unique gem. My mother's room looks out onto the green space which makes her feel relaxed and soothed. When you go to visit, there are residents enjoying the open spaces, which is a positive sign for any place. The meals served are tasty and healthy. I am sure that my Mom and I made the best choice for her in choosing Oakmont.

Oakmont Carmichael has been good for my loved one. The facility is clean, light and airy with great gardens on the grounds. Food exceeds expectations with really nice choices and you can even order off a separate menu if you don’t like the main options. Caregiving and administrative staff are consistently friendly, responsive, and understanding. Oakmont has many activities available for assisted living and memory care. They try to make it a community, for all family members, not just a place to put your mother. Oakmont Carmichael is about the same cost as other facilities. Any assisted living or memory care is expensive but it’s been worth it for us.
