Words cannot express how happy we are we made the decision for my dad to move into Oakmont. We had visited other assisted living facilities but the fit didn’t seem right. Oakmont was the right fit in our opinion. Dad was not thrilled with the idea but after meeting [name removed], going on a tour and having lunch he was sold. Although we were under the impression he was doing well it turned out he requires more assistance than we thought. The Oakmont staff has been amazing with him. Communication is top notch no matter what time of the day or night. The staff seems to know all of the residents by first name. The daily and weekly planned events are top notch and changing always. Thursday afternoon happy hour has become a favorite time for my dad. The dining room selections are top-notch. All of my requests have been followed out in a timely manner. I rest much easier now knowing that there is always someone there to help. I would highly recommend Oakmont for anyone’s loved ones.

What stands out the most are the friendly employees. They are very attentive. It has beautiful surroundings. It is less expensive that a lot of places.

It’s been about a month or so that my son and I brought his father to The Ivy to live and it’s been a very nice experience so far! Nice and pleasant surroundings and friendly Staff. Job well done and will recommend to others.

[name removed] was wonderful, helpful, and personable. She set my father at ease and treated him with respect. As an adult child of a parent who is reluctant to leave his home, I appreciated the questions she asked him about his daily activities. She demonstrated such an insight into the aging experience.

The building and the grounds are very nice -- the vibe is like a fairly upscale hotel. The staff are uniformly pleasant and helpful. The food overall is quite good, but the options are more limited in memory care -- understandable since a full menu would be very challenging for those in cognitive decline, but my dad has grumbled about it. The cost is in line with what other facilities charge, less even, but it is still very expensive -- I could not afford it for myself on a senior software engineer's salary! But I suppose that's just the Bay Area for you.

What we like the most about the community is the staff is very attentive. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

We could not be happier with Ivy Park at Wood Ranch. They take great care of mom, they are responsive to all questions, and they take pride in their facility and services. Our mom is very pleased with them.

The food is very bland, however the atmosphere was very pleasant with spaces to meet visitors in the back garden and the balcony garden of the locked ward. The outings were looked forward to. The staff were cheerful and very helpful.

I help my friend find a great assisted living in Palo Alto and Ivy Park is the best! My friend moved in a couple months ago and has been enjoying the activities and great food. She has made several friends and is living her best life! I couldn't ask for more. Great staff and great location!

Cleanliness of the facility-10! Well taken care of. Had snacks to take anytime... but no special needs diet for diabetics. Bingo, puzzles, group exercise, movies; large TV screen. Ivy includes free: 3 meals a day, Laundry service ,Vacuum room, Physical therapy/exercise room, Activities, Free WiFi, Transportation to Dr/stores. I checked other places; this is great price for an unfurnished studio. Not know what they offer to new people now. Good mixture of old people.

My mother and father-in-law have lived at Oakmont of Roseville for the last 6 months and loved it. My wife and I did a tour of ranch and couldn't be happier with the staff and facility would highly recommend Oakmont of Roseville..

The care given is with warmth and caring. Very beautiful modern clean community. Communication is import and they listen and adjust to the needs of the resident. The first month I was my mom's advocate and able to customize her care. That was very important and to ask questions that pertain to your needs. Everyone is always available to support.

I would say 5 all the way across except #6-food. Can always be better and tough to get consistent help. Give it a 3. The staff are very caring in especially tough Memory care. They go way above what is expected. This floor is included in all facility activities. They also have their own separate schedule. Those in assisted living seem pleased although the management transition has given them so pause. Change is tough but we see most as being positive and to make the facility run more smoothly and safer.

Activities Director [name removed] goes over and beyond to keep smile on Residents. Today is my Mom’s birthday and it was celebrated big . Activities in Ivy park is amazing and residents enjoy. It is amazing that we still have people like her around who are so patient and kind. Thank-you Ivy park of Walnut Creek to hire amazing Activities Director.

Ivy Park staff consistently display true caring for residents. The facility is always clean, the food quality is usually good and activities offered well meet expectations. Overall my mother is quite content and I can rest assured she is well looked after. I am very pleased with Ivy Park in Walnut Creek.

A new company has taken over management and the practices are corporate focused. Morningstar was family and client led, happy staff, happy clients a really great community. That is shifting and changing is always hard. I prefer a client focused approach to care and we are looking. The food could be improved by adding more vegetables and offering healthier options.

Thought the tours and general interaction with the staff was professional yet personable. The room sizes are very nice there. My loved ones opted for a 2 bedroom apartment and it is perfect for their needs.

The staff is kind, loving and caring. The facility is maintained clean and lots of things that keep the residents engaged.

When eating lunch there or dinner I just noticed the silverware and the glassware is not the cleanest. The bathroom downstairs needs some attention as well. I would recommend this facility as a staff is excellent and my mom's room is beautiful all newly renovated. They've been very helpful and very kind during a difficult time
