5 - I would highly recommend it. It's wonderful. The facility is clean and the room is very spacious and bright. The staff is super friendly and most of all my mother really likes it there.

Very friendly, very competent staff. Dining room open 7-7. I would recommend to others. My sister who is the one who lives there and she has a cat which she pays for cat care. It works out well.

The staff at the facility are kind and responsive. My mom feels very well cared for and states she likes it there, so I shouldn't worry about that. The food is good and the activities keep her busy. My mom told me she has a friend and I have seen them together. My mom would ask me not to send her to a nursing home, she stated I was, "putting her away." But that has not been her experience, and she tells me that when I visit. We are both very happy.

The facility is in a good location and the staff and the residents make me and my wife feel like in a big happy family.

My brother recently moved into Oakmont of Westpark, and we could not be happier with the decision. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. The staff go above and beyond to ensure every resident feels comfortable, respected, and engaged. What sets Oakmont of Westpark apart, though, is the atmosphere. It truly feels like a family. The activities are diverse and tailored to individual interests, and my brother has already made friends and joined several events. He tells me often that he feels at home, supported, and happy—which is all we ever wanted for him.

It's a very well run place. Everyone is very friendly and very professional. The staff from the front office to caregivers knows everyone's name and deals with them as if they're the only resident there. My husband has been there a year and we're very happy with the care and it has a real community sense. Lots of the residents do activities (they have a fantastic activities director) and there's films every evening and musical events in the courtyard and a weekly "happy hour" which may have entertainment. The food only got a 4 because my husband loves different kinds of food. The menu is varied but there's some sort of chicken everyday and sometimes it can be bland simply because you can't serve real spicy food to seniors with many different food needs. Hope this helps! A big plus is they have a parking garage for visitor. The staff is very attentive to needs of the residents. Even the people at the front desk know everything that's going on and who to let out the front door unattended (sometimes there are a couple of people who like to take off on their own) The caregivers are very personable and treat everyone with respect. No questions or requests seem too outrageous or unnecessary. There's great communication between all the staff. I feel my husband is safe there and I don't have to worry about him.

I would rate all but the food a 5. Although I don't eat there, it doesn't look great. I rate it a 4. The residents seem to eat lunch thoroughly. That is the only time I've spent in the dining room. I love the staff. Many have worked there for many years and that is telling. I believe they truly care for the residents. I hope this helps.

The staff and facility are top notch. They really care about the patient/individual and try to be as open and transparent as possible to the family

1 thru 5 all 5 excellent. 6 food is improving but sometimes less than what I am use too. 7 excellent. Just choose what you want. Many choices. 8. Cost? For the amenities, I believe it is best on the island. I use private funds for my studio. At 84, I am satisfied until the Lord calls me home. Visit and become part of our ohanna. I am a retired deacon. Ivy has a chapel. While we may not be bible thumpers, we do comfort each other

She is adjusting well was very difficult at first. I love that. It is a smaller place. It is more one on one so far so good. It's close to where I live, which is nice. They have lots of activities and invite Family to everything that they have. They also keep you posted on how she is doing. You can call anytime And check on her.

Thank you for accomplishing the move into the Oakmont Senior Residence Apartments. The Senior care here is unquestionably fine with various care providing activity areas, managed under a team of senior care advisors. Terrific management is no wonder why the daily activity roster is full of interesting fitness, walking, and club events to find oneself involved in. We played balloon volleyball for an hour on Wednesday, while sitting in 8 chairs, rallying the balloon over the court net. Hearing the musicians at the piano is above any level of attainment I could hope to pursue, though they are practised soloist, musicians on guitar, on the keyboards, and in acappella choir leader coordinations. There is a persuasive level of audience singing in harmony with the recalled lyrics and phrase verses. The waving arms conductor of the acappella choir turns about and uses the entire room, while both of his hands are letting the audience know, when to sing vocal verses back to the choir.

Availabilty of [name removed] excellent nursing/caregiving staff was a huge plus (single most important reason I would return to IVY. [name removed] was especially outstanding. Food improved during my stay. But still far too little Asian foods/seasonings considering the sizeable Asian population) (some of table servers were quite good and friendly; but a number of the younger servers were unfriendly or even rude, appearing as if they resented being there. Was fairly costly but fully worth it for my short-term stay while recuperating from serious surgery. Grateful for IVY and [name removed] caregiving service. I've highly recommended to others!

Capriana at Brea is the best place to live for seniors - there is something for everyone. Besides the beautiful dining rooms, theater, library, spacious apartments, gardens, and pool area, there are events, excursions, games, exercise classes, three delicious meals a day, and much, much more. Above all, the people here are so warm and friendly. Within these surroundings I found a second family, a place to enjoy without worries - knowing that mentally and physically I would be cared for - a place where I will never again be inactive and lonely - a place I can call home.

I would rate it 5. Meeting and exceeding our expectations. Oakmont of Montecito is wonderful! The residents and staff are all friendly and helpful. We couldn't be happier. The first two weeks here, mom constantly asked when we were bringing her home. Now she has a cadre of people she recognizes and interacts with and she realizes this is the best place for her.

First, it is beautiful with a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the complex, 2nd it has such a sweet and friendly staff, 3rd they have different activities every day and last they have lots of family nights to encourage families to join in an activity with their loved ones.

Words cannot express how happy we are we made the decision for my dad to move into Oakmont. We had visited other assisted living facilities but the fit didn’t seem right. Oakmont was the right fit in our opinion. Dad was not thrilled with the idea but after meeting [name removed], going on a tour and having lunch he was sold. Although we were under the impression he was doing well it turned out he requires more assistance than we thought. The Oakmont staff has been amazing with him. Communication is top notch no matter what time of the day or night. The staff seems to know all of the residents by first name. The daily and weekly planned events are top notch and changing always. Thursday afternoon happy hour has become a favorite time for my dad. The dining room selections are top-notch. All of my requests have been followed out in a timely manner. I rest much easier now knowing that there is always someone there to help. I would highly recommend Oakmont for anyone’s loved ones.

What stands out the most are the friendly employees. They are very attentive. It has beautiful surroundings. It is less expensive that a lot of places.

It’s been about a month or so that my son and I brought his father to The Ivy to live and it’s been a very nice experience so far! Nice and pleasant surroundings and friendly Staff. Job well done and will recommend to others.

[name removed] was wonderful, helpful, and personable. She set my father at ease and treated him with respect. As an adult child of a parent who is reluctant to leave his home, I appreciated the questions she asked him about his daily activities. She demonstrated such an insight into the aging experience.
