What stood out the most is the cleanliness, also the staff and the dining experience are great.

My husband (with dementia,) find the Ivy safe with emergency drills at the last tsunami warning 10 days ago, cleanliness in all areas kept up well, has many daily activities to choose from, dining a pleasure (but of course some do not care for what is served, dining service very good, transportation available on schedule for outings and medical appointments, and every member of the staff most friendly and nice which helps residents feel relatively happy to be here.

We toured six facilities. We loved Ivy Park right away. The facility is modern, spacious and lovely. We met with [name removed] and when she showed us the 2nd floor memory care room, restaurant, and living room, we were very impressed. We were able to move in right away. The caregivers are wonderful. They are attentive and caring. My wife seems very happy there, and they seem very happy to have her there.

My in-laws, in their mid-80s, moved into Ivy Park earlier this summer and have been very pleased with it so far. The property is very well-maintained, the staff members have been attentive and kind, the food is good with a flexible menu, they enjoy the daily activities, and their apartment is comfortable. They are able to live independently so cannot speak to how it serves those with more significant care needs.

The facility is very pleasant, and clean . The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had lunch and enjoyed it. The dining facility is very nice and I had a chance to meet and talk to some of the residents. I also liked the pool and other recreational facility. In future if I decide to move to a Senior residential community. I will choose this one.

My husband felt comfortable there and is close to outhouse. Oakmont has problems but overall my husband is taken care of.

[name removed] (my mother in law) has been very happy there and so have we. She has since graduated to memory care as she is progressing with her dementia. We are visiting tomorrow. We think, given the cost[ amount removed] it offers the best care and value available. Highly recommended by us. Thank you for reaching out to us and doing the things you do.

They go above and beyond for their residents. My mom was even able to have her beloved dog with her there for almost a year until we had to put the dog to sleep.

This community has an open layout, is very clean, and has a friendly staff. I chose this community because both the assisted living and memory care facilities were appealing. The memory care area, in particular, is bright and open, a welcome change from many others in the area that felt dark and like an afterthought. The Alder floor plan in assisted living is a good size, and we were able to fit my dad's king-size bedroom set comfortably, which was a huge plus. The closets, however, are a bit small. While there is a linen closet and a clothes closet, the hanging space is not sufficient. The kitchenette also has a few issues; there is no sink for washing dishes, and the upper cabinet is so low that a Keurig coffee maker doesn't fit well on the counter. When my dad first moved in, dining was more flexible. Guests were not charged, and the dining room was open all day. Now, the dining room has more limited hours, and guest meals are added to the resident's monthly bill. This is challenging because there's no way for guests to pay for their meals directly, which makes it hard to track who is visiting and dining with my dad and increasing the bill. Most guests don't even realize the resident is being charged. Providing a direct bill for guests to pay on the spot would be a nice improvement. My main concern is safety. The reception desk is not located directly at the entrance, which allows people to walk in without being checked in. This is a significant safety risk for elderly residents who may be vulnerable to financial abuse. Overall, of all of the communities I visited in Conejo Valley, this is one I would live at and my Dad is content there.

So far everything has been very good. The staff is so welcoming and warm, and my mother has really enjoyed the outings to baseball games and other activities.

I am always amazed and extremely pleased at how caring the staff is with all of the memory care residents. The facilities are always well maintained and kept clean. The meals are tasty and sufficient, Our family can depend on the staff to support our family member to have a clean surrounding and clean clothes and to be given her daily medications as requested by her doctor.

My grandfather moved in recently (2 weeks) and it already feels like home. My family and I do not feel like guests when we come in but like we belong here. My grandfather and his dog have many new friends and everyone gives a warm welcome. This community felt like a beacon of light when our family was in the middle of the storm.

Every single one always has a wave or a hello. I am very impressed how they all learn our names and appear to sincerely care about our needs, happiness and well-being.

My experience here has been phenomenal. Living here I get to stay busy. Living here is better than living at home with care coming in. I can be with people when I want to and also be by myself when I want to. I love it here.

The staff was very friendly and responsive. The only negative thing was some of the residents were not friendly and the little bossy about things.

They were wonderful, caring, attentive and treated mom as if she were their mother. The staff were all very caring, knew everyone's name and what they liked to eat in the dining room. The staff kept me apprised of any concerns or questions, Up until her passing a month ago!
