Each cottage has up to 15 residences. It’s nice and small and the care staff can easily hear everyone. The grounds are pretty for walking around and enjoying the surrounds. I think they should have one more staff member per cottage, but all facilities carry the minimum staff per requirements.

Overall cleanliness and activities are both very good! Food in independent living and assisted living are good also. Food in memory care is not as good

Ivy Park at Wood Ranch is a beautiful and well-maintained property. The management, chef, and food servers have all changed several times within the past year. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The dining team does a great job celebrating holidays with festive food and invitations for family members to attend. I would recommend this community to other families.

It's a beautiful facility for someone looking for a smaller confined facility. It worked for my sister while she healed and got stronger. It did not provide enough activities or stimulation for her long term needs.

Everything is good. Except for her insulin and eye drops that need to be administered at bedtime. Apparently they don't have a night nurse anymore. For the most part we are happy with the facility

What stood out the most is that Everyone is friendly and helpful. There are very good and courteous staff.

Reasons we chose Ivy Park: -price -location -cleanliness -open dining room (although this turned out not to be true) There has been frequent staff turnover (although this may be typical for the industry)

The facility does not have a diabetes management component, which I did not realize until we had already decided to use them. The staff are extremely helpful and always very pleasant. They work hard to greet everyone by name. I have been extremely pleased with our treatment there. For some reason in the beginning, we had trouble having my mom's room cleaned on a weekly basis, but they have addressed that.

They are very attentive and caring. Not a 5 as I think they could use more help. However mom is happy, eating well and free to wander/roam within the memory care unit. Rooms are sufficient, mom has her single bed, her bureau, her recliner & a little end table and chair, still plenty of room The rooms are vacant, you need to furnish. The plus side to that is familiarity and comfort. When moving someone from a place they know, it's good to fill their room with familiar furnishings and decor.

Don't believe everything you read in online reviews, even this one. Go visit every single place you are considering. Visit more than once, at different times of day and on different days. Every person is different, with different tastes, different desires, and different needs. No place is perfect, but for Dad, Oakmont was a great option. The location is close to family, so visits are easy. The staff is caring and attentive, so I don't worry about his care. The building is clean and well maintained, so he is comfortable. The food, if not luxurious, is plentiful, so I know he is enjoying his meals. Find the place that is right for you and your loved one.

My mother was there for only a month and I was seldom there. It worked out fine for her respite care.

The staff really took care of my mom. Concerns were timely addressed. I thought they could have kept the place in better condition.

Provided transportation is limited. Administration listens to resident concerns. Entertainment is brought in regularly. Families are welcome. They have special events for holidays. Prices have gone up over 10% within a year

- staff are caring and talk kindly - Dad enjoys the meals (quality and quantity is good) - medications are handled without difficulty - using the pharmacy at the location, automatically, works well - having the option of increasing the level of care that is provided is helpful - offering of activities and entertainment is varied and nice to have - environment/décor is clean and inviting

Unfortunately, some of these have changed over the course of the past year. My ratings reflect where we are now. This is specifically about the memory care wing. Sometimes, communication with the staff is difficult, because they are hard to reach. They often seem a bit understaffed and forget requests I make when I call over there.

The care givers are fantastic. They really try to help the residents have the best life they possibly can. The facility is a bit on the old side though it is generally well maintained. The only real issue is heating and cooling. They can only do one or the other so sometimes the room is too warm.

I think so far the issues we're dealing with are more related to my mom just having a hard time adjusting and settling in and nothing really to do with the community. We've been pretty happy with Bonaventure and the people. We really like and appreciate the friendliness of the staff and the activities offered. The cleanliness is okay. It's not pristine but not trashy. Same with the food. Some of the meals are really good but some are not so great.

They have been really good to work with and even though it has been a tough transition for my mother. They are certainly been understanding and have been very helpful.

The facility is extremely clean, the staff always smiles and says hi when you pass by in a hallway or a lobby. The entire building feels safe and secure. The food is hit or miss according to my grandmother.

They run short staffed at times, but the staff that's there are mostly good. Location and cost stuck out over other places.
