I wanted a community that was smaller and not to overwhelming for my loved one. The tour was very good and they gave me all of the information that I needed it was just not the environment that I was looking for for my loved one.

We chose Oakmont of Agoura Hills because my loved one really liked the fact that the facility was brand new and it is only a mile from our house. Since they are newer they are still working out some of the kinks but they are very on top of it if there are any issues. There is a beautiful large courtyard with a fountain. They have a few places here and there where my loved one can sit, but there is not a lot of outdoor spaces to sit outside of the building. They have one room in the complex that has a balcony, but the other rooms do not have any. The apartments are beautiful though and by far the best we have seen. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

This community is safe and is a nice place for you or your loved one. Most of the time the staff are okay and helpful with my loved one.

Del Opispo Terrace was our second choice. The rooms they offered were bigger than other places we toured, and the rooms had terraces. The only reasons we didn't go there were 1) their services were a little higher cost. And 2) the available unit that she was looking at getting there was kind of dark, and she wanted more natural light.

I really liked Sunrise of Belmont. However, in our initial discussions, they thought our loved one could go to assisted living. However, following the assessment, they placed him in memory care, which quickly became unaffordable.

We really like the facility and the folks that work there. We had some trouble with follow-through, so it required us to stay on top of them to make sure that we got everything we needed in a timely manner. I like the variety of activities they offer, and you could see the encouragement of the staff for the residents to participate.

I would recommend Sunrise to others for their loved ones. This seems to offer the best care for the best value. The community has a middle level care for mild memory care needs, which is what drew me to this community. This fits are needs the best. I didn't see this option at other communities or other Sunrises. The staff are easy to work with and have good communication with the family anytime they need me. They are responsive to my questions and concerns as well. The activities are good. I would like to see more outdoor activities offered to the residents and to the Terrace Club, such as walking for my loved one.

This community is well managed, clean professional and friendly. The staff are very caring as well. They have activities like live music, crafts, work outs and more for the residents to do to keep busy in the community.

This community was really expensive it was just out of the budget for my loved one. They were a little pushy with the sales and I did not like this feeling.

The place is stunning. It’s very clean. They're very attentive. All the staff is overly friendly The billing department is the only concern we have. You just have to be very observant about your bill. There are lots of technical mistakes. The food is amazing. They even had lobster risotto the other day. There haven't been as many activities due to Covid, but that’s getting better.

This was a good experience for us. Everyone was very helpful and they tried to be informative as possible. We took a couple of tours prior to deciding on this community. The staff were good to work with, and they are great at answering questions or addressing our concerns. The majority of the staff seem to show that this is their calling. The food seems to be very repetitive. There isn't a lot of taste to it, and there is not much appeal to it either. They are short staffed on the wait staff. The laundry, housekeeping, changing of linens, transportation is available within 10 miles, three meals a day, and the room are included in the monthly price. The community will take care of medication management, bathing, dressing, and hygiene assistance if the resident needs it and there is an additional charge for these items. There are levels of care that they will provide and this is how the pricing is calculated. The time the call button is pressed the staff are here immediately to assist the residents. There is nursing care available 24 hours a day.

Sunrise of Huntington Beach has excellent staff members. they are easy to talk to and return calls promptly. I am impressed that every staff member knows and addresses each resident by name. I think they are short-handed and in need of more staff, though. the activity director is great and provides a variety of various activities daily. the main complaint from my mother is the food choices.

Comparative to other communities in the area, this is one of the better ones. The staff is very good to work with. I'm surprised when they do get back to us so quickly, due to the demands of their job, They are willing to take the time to speak to us about our questions and concerns. They are able to assist with daily living activities for my loved one. The dining is quite good, with a varied menu. The quality and presentation of the food is nice.

I liked the community and was on a waiting list and needed placement right away.

[name removed[ just hung all my pictures in my apartment and it feels like home. I lived at home alone after my wife passed now I have many friends, I am happy to be very social. I love how happy all the staff are to be working here. I recommend Oakmont to my friends.

This community was good but there was no outdoor area for my loved one. This was the only reason we felt like we had to go with another community. This was a great tour.

Small place, very nice.

The staff members at Sunrise are wonderful and have done such a great job so far. They are providing an important service, they are resident focused and we do think they are trying everything to keep them happy and healthy. The meals are good, the activities are good and residents are just so happy.
