We were pleased with our experience at Valley View Gardens. We chose it because of the location, the friendly staff members, and the activities provided. The room sizes here were good for her needs. I think that their communication with families was very strong. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose The Palms of San Lauren because it was brand new and he needed immediate care, they were very nice and easy to work with. He does have a private his room is big enough for his bed and dresser and a tv. The location is good. it is close to shopping areas. I would recommend to others looking.

There was a lot of staff turnover within the administration and the caretakers. The location is awesome. They did their best with the resources they had. They had great security for the residents.

This community is extremely clean, and they provide the best quality care that they can. They also try and expand their care because some of the residents there have continuous problems so they really are doing the best they can. They have their own chef and their own ice cream bar. They have changed the activities director a couple of times, and each times the activities get better and better. There is always something going on. We also think the value is great.

The food looked really good during our loved one's stay. I would recommend this community to others. The staff tended to the residents like they were family. The chef made it feel like home for the residents as well.

The lunch area is very nice, and they have a nice variety of food options. Due to the virus they are having to eat in their rooms. The staff is very friendly and we would recommend this community to a family or friend.

This community is a good option, I would have them check this community out. I think this community is offering an above-average service for this time during covid. The room sizes are good, she has a one-bedroom and is happy with it. My mother has suggested that sometimes the food is great and sometimes not so much. My mom is more social now at Oakmont than she has in a long time. I would definitely recommend the facility.

Moved here from So. California. Dog friendly with lots of areas to walk our dogs. Not a highrise, lots of greenery. Good food. Friendly staff. Not perfect but good enough. On third floor with ocean view. Lovely!

I was not happy with Sunrise of La Jolla. There were a lot of issues with payment, sometimes they charged double and made some mistakes and it would take a long time to get these payments fixed and remitted. Accounting would not answer my calls and when they did, they were rude. The care here was just ok, the staff was very gentle and loving, but it was nothing exceptional.

I keep myself busy having all these services here makes my life easier. I teach stretching exercises at city parks and here at the Hawaii Kai retirement community. I have 10 classes a week.

The room and facilities were beautiful. I would rate it at 4.5 if I could. They seem very helpful to seniors and I am looking for future prospects for my mom. It is very expensive but it is lovely.

The have been very accommodating with my mom. The staff are very caring. They have allowed her to have her cat in the memory care. It has been a very positive experience. We chose this community for its location and it was brand new. The staff really have been very proactive during this pandemic. The have been good with communication. Their focus, during this time, has been on keeping their residents safe. I think the food is great and they have a great chef.

Watch out for the hidden fees! The facility nice and clean. There is a doctor there every two weeks and the nurse practitioner that comes once a week. My mom likes the food, and likes that the tea is served hot. There offer a bunch of activities. She likes to go to church services and bible study, but it hasn't been offered since COVID. The manager is a little overbearing sometimes.

Sunrise appears to be a great place, but 10K/mo. just won't fit my moms budget.

Location was a big factor in our decision making process. It was close to family. It fit into our desired price point. My sister was at Bonaventure of Castle Rock for about three months. She had no complaints.

The staff and care were fine. The caregivers were all very friendly and knew what they were doing. The community was always nice and clean. They had a piano and that was lovely. The fitness program was great and I participated as much as I could. I liked that I could keep my dog with me and take him out to socialize with other residents who had pets.

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills is a newer community. We have been very pleased with how the staff there has handled the adjustment period for my parents moving into a senior living community from their previous residence. They have also done a great job handling the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuring the residents safety. The activities at the community are good. The price is a little high, however, and the meals have not been as good as they had originally promised. Despite this however, they do seem to be making an effort to improve.

This place is like a hotel in steroids. The staff are friendly, but maybe it's the time of day that we got there but there we didn't feel very welcomed by the residents as much.
