This sounds like a great place, although all of their first floor apartments are gone even though they are not even open yet. The gardens and lands around the facility sound awesome, and they are known for their excellent food. Liz, whom I talked to, said it is like being on a cruise ship where everything is perfect just for you! This location has mountain view all around. Opens at the end of July 2014. Rating is based on my telcon with Liz. This is a smaller place with only 79 apartments. You can be part of the garden club and work in the flower gardens all you want.

The building is very clean and the staff is friendly. They offer a fair amount of activities as well, and the care provided is more than adequate. It is fairly expensive though, and I'm not sure that everything they offer is worth as much as they charge. I don't think that I would move my father here, but I would suggest visiting it for yourself to see if it would be a good fit for you. My price point might not be the same as yours. Good luck!

It's working out pretty well. The value is better than the A La Carte style. I think everything has been pretty easy here. We use the memory care, and the director Liza is awesome to have working with the families. The staff has been helpful if I have questions about how's my dad doing they keep track of the residents. I like that they send out a monthly update on what positive things your loved one has done here, they focus on the positive. They have a really great large, peaceful backyard in the memory care, with places to sit, and tall trees and shade.

Very nice residential location and two-bedroom independent living units available!!! Very nice two-bedroom set-up, small but sunny with nice view. This place has a reputation for good food which is a big plus. The atmosphere when I entered this place was upbeat and it's close to Danville home. DEFINITELY SHOULD TRY IT OUT.

The interior was very clean, and we were greeted in a friendly manner. They also offer a fairly wide range of activities, though it was slightly expensive. I was most impressed by the garden and surrounding outside areas. It is beautiful, and the atmosphere had an air of serenity. It was peaceful and quiet. Overall, this seems like a nice place to live. I would suggest visiting and making the decision for yourself.

My brother toured this community and it was very nice. We didn’t end up placing our mother here, but we could have. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. It's an okay place and might be a really good fit for your family.

Great care but very expensive. I think the price was very high. The food is fair, good, but not as varied. There was bingo, Pictionary – it’s geared very much for an older crowd and some excursions. There is limited parking. The staff was quick to respond.

This is such a great place! We are so happy that my mother in law is here! The only reason the "Care Services" didn't get a 5 is because we really haven't used them yet. As for activities, there are so many things to do! We mainly picked this place because it's smaller than the others in the area. There's about 135 residents, compared to the 200+ at others. Also, it's a newer community, so it's always just immaculate! Whenever you walk in, everyone is so attentive to your needs! They remember who you are and call you by your first name! Such a wonderful place!

This is a great place, we're very happy with it! They really do an excellent job keeping the facility clean, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful. The care has been showing improvement, and they appear to have plenty of activities going on.

My loved one really seemed to enjoy his stay here. The staff were all very very friendly, and they kept the building looking nice and clean. I also heard from him that the food was very good! I can't really think of any specific way that they could improve, they're very good overall!

Nice areas for grouping of the persons living there. I did not care for the bedrooms as much. Only a double was available at this time. They had a cat and 2 dogs there. There was a little order of that and we have people allergic in our family.

We toured this location when we were looking into options for my loved one. Sierra Pointe looked like a very nice place, the staff were friendly and helpful. However this community was priced a bit higher than what we were looking for, and wasn't something we considered an option.

They really do a good job keeping the community neat. The nurses are wonderful The P.A. has sometimes been slow on the follow-up, and doesn't always show up when he says he will. They have a lot of activities but they seem a little more geared towards women. The food is pretty good but depends on the day, at least for him. What's nice about the menu is if you don't like the daily special you can always get something different, I would give the food a four. The overall experience has been good. They have a lot of opportunity for social activity, at least twice a week they have gatherings in the receiving area. You can participate as much or as little as you want.

The surroundings are very nice. I visited both AL and IL. I met the LPNs in AL. I appreciated that they invited me to talk while they were eating their lunches. I was introduced to the site administrator and was invited for lunch. I did not get to finish my questions but will call later. There were two minor problems that needed my guide, the house manager, attention. 1) I'm not getting my cough medicine. I miss you; things get done when you are here. 2) Mrs. X is missing. She's not here and I called there and she's not there either.

They are doing just fine, they came within my budget, they aren't real high end, or real low end. What they offered for the high end of my budget was less than what Atria Sutton offered, so I had to go with them. I find they have done a real nice job.

Clientele is all Salinas area. Requires a $500 deposit. Distance from everywhere.

A little expensive. Co-mingles assisted living and memory care for events sometimes. Requires $2500 deosit. Currently we'd be at top of list

My brother has settled in and is doing well here. He told me just yesterday, "I like it here." The people here seem to really care about their residents and are most helpful with all their needs.

May be too big. Dad prefers smaller complex.
