The atmosphere is very pleasant and cheerful. Many other places are depressing and The Villages at Seven Oaks is cheery and clean and smells good. It is a good value for the money. We have peace of mind that he is getting good care. We are bringing in hospice to give a little extra help. We are very comfortable with them. There have been a few times where they have not been as timely with returning phone calls and there have been a few frustrations but overall we are happy. I like that the memory care has it's own side. It is very easy to visit.

I found that the initial visits and the work of the facilitator were very caring and helpful. However, when it became time for my husband to actually move in (two/three days in advance), I suddenly had two very lengthy meetings that really were not scheduled (supposed to be kind of check in kind of meetings) and was not prepared in advance and I felt rather overwhelmed by these kind of unscheduled vital meetings. One involved going over the very detailed treatment plans and one that was primarily money related and also not scheduled with the subject in advance. Once my husband entered, they did keep in touch, but, of course, the coronavirus situation vastly complicated things. I feel they were conscientious and caring, but since we could not visit (the initial waiting for adjustment period and then the virus), I really felt a little out of touch. Overall I would have appreciated if the two IMPORTANT MEETINGS had been handled differently and in my son's presence as well.

Ok sized room. Property looks to Mountains to the East and Creek to the West. Recently remodeled and clean. Meals are served buffet style (I think).

After visiting twelve Memory Care Facilities, I choose Fullerton Gardens to care for my mom. My family and I are fairly happy with the choice. Its clean, staff are friendly for the most part, Care services; are good, but there are times during their shift change, were service could be improved. Activities; I understand most residents are beyond participating, but I would like to see more staff involved in the activities, helping them participate. One thing I would like to see is staff taking a group of 3-4 residents, and trying to engage with them by doing small projects, that fits their level. We are currently satisfied with the facility and it does have a nice garden, that my mom likes to be taken to.

Touring this facility was okay, new ownership within last 3 months. Just okay until 2nd floor visit had a bad smell.

Lovely place, very expensive 7k and up for level 2. Very nice security for memory care.

I visited this facility while looking for a place for my father-in-law and found it to be very professionally run, clean, friendly, and organized. The staff were very active in taking care of the residents and came across as friendly. I would rank this very highly given what I saw and experienced during my visit.

This is a nice community with a very friendly and professional staff. Many residents seem to enjoy the amenities and activities. The apartments are small and their design is not ideal, with the bathroom unconnected to the bedroom. It’s a truly lovely and well-kept property.

A place that my mom would be comfortable. Apartment is roomy compared to most with a smaller than average fridge, microwave and room for a little table. The living room and bedroom are of good size. Closet adequate. The public spaces look lived in and nice not just for show. Staff was caring towards the seniors and many had been there for years. Beautiful outside courtyard! Most expensive community fee of any I have seen.

Visited [date removed]. Beautiful place but mom didn't not like the pool since it was round and she couldn't swim laps. Also she felt neighborhood did not allow for beautiful walks that she is used to at Kapiolani Park at Waikiki. Lovely outdoor dining bistro outside at the pool. Very nice dining rooms.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The staff was very sweet and the place was very serene, clean and the garden was lovely.

Location not convenient......but the facilities are excellent and staffing program is excellent.

I'm doing this review to address the one-star rating below. My in-laws are in this facility and find the staff friendly and helpful. On Meals: The dining room is for the seniors living there. However, if you want to eat in the dining room with your senior, you need to pay for the meal. They can't have any number of family come and just sit in the dining room taking up space. There are two seatings, which means every seat in the dining room is needed. It is also disruptive to the other diners to have groups of people coming in/out of the dining room. We were visiting and my in-laws weren't hungry at dinner because we had taken them out for a late lunch. We went into the dining room during their usual meal time and asked for items from the menu "to-go". No problem. The order was filled and we brought the food back into their apartment to eat later. Both my in-laws have not been sick since they have started living here. Before they had trouble remembering to eat and not wanting to bother cooking anything. Housekeeping: We've found that the facility is clean and the apartment is cleaned regularly, laundry done, beds made daily. Facility/Grounds: For the walk-able, a small Walmart/CVS are around the corner. Some rooms overlook a creek with deer and geese visible when we visited. It is located near the Iron Horse trail. There is an enclosed courtyard off the dining room for wind protected outdoor sitting. Excursions/Transportation Although my in-laws just want to sit in their apartment, there are weekly shopping and field trip option weekly. While my in-laws hate getting older and their physical limitations, they have thrived here. Cost provided $8000 month is for two persons/two bedroom/two bath apartment.

Sunrise was clean, cheerful. [Name removed] knew many of the residents by name. Their activities and food opinions seemed appropriate and entertaining. The outside areas were a bit noisy due to nearby freeway traffic, but well maintained.

Sunrise is very clean and the employees are very friendly. We had a 9:00 am appointment with [name removed]. However, he was not available and his replacement, [name removed], was late. [Name removed] did a great job showing us all available options and answering all of our questions.

Different price each month with certain care. Do not let you know in advance. Still waiting to get my $500 for pet deposit back. Really pricey place. Good caregivers

Valley View Gardens is a cheery, sunny place. Caring for dementia patients is a tough job, and the staff works hard to support its residents. The caregiving staff is patient and works with residents even when they are having a bad day. Activities are offered during the daytime hours, featuring music, art, memory activities, and exercise. The parties are fun and facilities are well maintained. The big great room is usually a cheerful place filled with friendly people. Thanks, Valley View!

Overall I am very pleased with Sunrise Bonita. The staff is excellent and the turnover low so the residents can bond with caregivers. The food is spotty, some days are better than others. This is the third place my loved one has been housed and this is by far the best. It is more expensive than most but if that helps staff retention, then its worth it. Management seems to go the extra mile to keep things on track.

Overall my mother had a good experience at Brookdale Elk Grove. As her needs increased, the cost of course went up, but it went up pretty high. Mom’s behaviors required patience and understanding.Two thirds of the caregivers were friendly, caring, and compassionate. Brookdale worked well with Hospice. Mom was only there for 7 months before Alzheimer’s took her life. The small cottages made for an intimate calm setting. Really liked that set up. The acitivities director left when mom started there , and it took about 5 months to replace, so activities in her cottage were limited. Extremely clean environment. Mom was always clean. My family and I bonded with some of the caregivers and med techs, which made it more of a family feeling place. Overall a very safe place for a loved one. The cost per month i mention includes all extra services provided.

My mom is in the memory care portion. I feel very blessed we found this warm, welcoming, yet professionally managed space.
