This facility is best for residents with some level of independence. My mother was there less than a week, but, staff was pleasant so far as I could tell. My mother was too advanced for their level of care, but the nursing director made decisions to try to get better care for my mom. The nursing and admissions director were great to work with.

Oakmont of Torrance. Again, another great place. I can't remember her name but she also took her time. She wasn't quite as friendly as [name removed], but still knowledgeable. We didn't go with them because it felt too free. Almost like if he wanted he could just walk out the door unless he was in the memory care wing which is no freedom. While the facility was clean, it felt cold and not comfortable for what we wanted for my FIL. My husband and I joked that we want to life at Oakmont later in life. It is a really nice facility.

This is an overall good facility. I have a loved one in Memory Care section. The care staff is compassionate and capable. It is a new facility and the overall administration na operations has yet to get settled. Onboarding could be smoother, many aspects of communication with the staff and administration was a discover as you go along.

Due to surgery, we have not been able to participate in the activities. We would recommend the Bonaventure of Colorado Springs community to other families as long as they have sufficient funds.

What stood out to us about this facility is the price and that it's a brand new place. They have good activities. A little slow in the dining room. They provide housekeeping once a week. Overall very nice. I definitely recommend them to others.

The staff are AMAZING. Very warm. They treat my in-laws like family. I would recommend MorningStar Senior Living of Hayward to others.

It took a while for us to figure stuff out, there wasn't much guidance. But now that dad has an assigned caretaker we are getting better communication. Also, factor in ambulance rides to your costs if there is a copay and your loved one is prone to falling or needs a lot of adjustment to meds that are urgent due to violent outbursts etc. Most of what I have learned has been through a Facebook support group. I feel that more information could be provided for the families by the MC facility. This may also be due to how long it to Kaiser to get palliative care involved. There's just so much to navigate especially if this all happens quickly. We were very happy with the move in process. They were very helpful. So, overall quite pleased and the staff is really amazing. We just needed more guidance as this was so sudden and very overwhelming. Also, the food is fantastic! Dad raves about it!

Oakmont is great. We had problems initially getting the invoicing process all set up, but that has been resolved. She seems to enjoy living here and has made a lot of new friends. She is getting the attention that she needs. In general we are pleased with Oakmont of San Jose.

I toured Oakmont of Torrance and it was a very nice tour! This facility would have been my first choice at the time. The rooms were a little pricey, but great facility.

Things that stood out to us about this facility are the atmosphere, décor, and the friendliness of staff and contentment of residents. The units are a good size, the atmosphere is quiet. The facility is very clean and pleasant smelling. Housekeeping and laundry service is included. Staff overall is reasonably attentive. They could improve their response time. Activities are fair, wish they had more outings.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour but it just seemed way to enthusiastic and gave off a weird vibe something just seemed off.

For the most part we are very happy with the experience. There have been a few things but that is just part of what happens when you are getting acclimated. I found it helpful to talk to the supervisor of the caregiver staff for any concerns. It does take a little bit to figure out who to go to, but [name removed] has been great. She is very nice, helpful and responsive. The caregivers have been great as well. I would definitely recommend Rockville Terrace to other families looking.

[name removed] [name removed] Everyone on the staff was super nice and really helped my moms final days be cheerful. The facilities are sparkly and new. Best Thanksgiving meal I've ever had. The food is spectacular I would definitely recommend Santianna.

Unfortunately, my mother-in-law passed away after being there for just over a month. She did not adapt well and was quickly moved to the memory care section. All of the staff were very caring and respectful during what was a very stressful and difficult time for us.

I would not recommend this place until they can fix these issues. After 4 months there still is no phone in the apartment unit. There is no internet. They have charged the wrong amount consistently every month overcharging. Broken promises constantly. Lack of response at times and slow response. Care providers are excellent. Television service is not what was promised had to fight to get some of the shows and sporting channels that were promised and still not all are available. Cell phones do not work in the building based on the construction they say.

We've been happy with Rockville Terrace. I think my loved one is getting good care. And the staff is friendly and helpful.

I had a bad tour experience at Oakmont of Roseville. The person who was scheduled to meet with me wasn’t working that day. And they let me sit and wait for 30 minutes before they even told me that. I then had to wait longer for them to find someone to give the tour. Perhaps they were just having a bad day. But I didn't feel I was treated very well. Aside from that, I thought the location was very convenient. The facility was nice and clean inside and looked newer. However, it was also more expensive.

I toured this community and it was a super place! They even called it 'a cruise ship that never sails.' It was very nice, but expensive.

I toured this facility and it was ok. Cleanliness was good, staff was very friendly. It just wasn't a good fit for my loved one.

They did not do a good job onboarding but the staff is new and friendly and our loved one has settled in. It's rather expensive [fee removed] a month but it is brand new and very nice. Out of the other communities we toured Santianna is by far the nicest facility, and so far the care has been good.
