It’s a beautiful property with friendly people working there. It was great to see so many residents out and about enjoying the grounds.

The staff is very polite, friendly and professional, the facility and individual rooms are kept very clean. Staff can always be found easily. Food has a wide assortment and dining room servers are very attentive. Room sizes are sufficient. Really nothing bad to say

Staff is busy. Helpful when available. Food is pretty good. Roommate pees everywhere. Other patients (residents) tend to wander into our room and rummage/pilfer when my wife leaves the room, or they wander into even if she is in the room. She has a roommate, so locking the door is often problematic.

Our loved ones room is fine for what they need and the facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff could improve on overall communication

It's a really nice place and it's smaller than others so the attention feels more personalized and close, like home. It's currently gone through transition with new ownership so that came with some bumps initially but that seems to be settling down.

In the year our mom has been there, there have been a lot of changes. New staff, lots of new residents. The shuttle bus hasn't been working so outside activities haven't been happening. I have no idea how to rate value but I do think this is going rate but is still so costly. The staff is so friendly and very caring! The grounds are amazing and we love the rose garden.

Ivy is an old facility but well maintained. The rooms are all different and [name removed] is nice and big enough for her. Most of the staff are outstanding with only a few caregivers having personalities objectionable. Overall, I recommend Ivy because of the great location/views and the caring staff. [name removed]s apartment is overlooking a busy street so lots of traffic noise. It is quite expensive.

It looked nice and peaceful, but also somewhat depressing seeing the elderly in the memory area. We all realize that the elderly with dementia almost always just get worse over time and eventually die, so I fully expected it to be a depressing thing to see those elderly folks. Still, many of them seemed to enjoy talking and playing games together. Everything all around seemed nice, clean, and orderly. A few occupants were sitting around the entrance way when we came in and they seemed to be enjoying themselves chatting. That was nice to see. They were close to an area where one could get coffee or snacks or watch TV at almost any time of day.

It all seems great! My only complaint is when I call with questions, I never receive a call back from the director of nursing. An example is the LTC plan. When I call for status no call back. I was told when we were researching facilities the Ivy handles all the paperwork, then I pay and get reimbursed. Which is fine, but at this point I have paid several months with no word on when I can expect reimbursement. I leave calls and send emails. All I ask for is a response, please.

Way....too expensive for someone requiring skilled nursing. The part of the room available at the time was narrow, dark and no TV/Cable provided..only wifi.

The grounds are beautiful. I like the separate cottages . There is more of a family feeling

The ratings I gave would be different in the 1st month, 3rd month, and 6th month. Some things are not always as they seem, and you always need to communicate what you're getting and what you aren't. He's in a very clean place, with very friendly people. There have been shortcomings with care and food, but I feel he's in the right place, and we'll continue to try and improve with good communication

My mom was only at Oakmont for a couple of weeks while waiting for her permanent placement at [facility name removed]. At Oakmont, San (director) was a lifesaver in navigating the transition from the SNF. He made a really stressful time much easier.

The staff and care are both very good. My mother has deteriorated tremendously in the last year so it's a very difficult situation... having said that the staff and care have been very supportive and helpful and caring. They even were able to help me get a PCP that comes into the ridge for care for my mom who is now totally immobile Her apartment is 5 out of 5. It's beautiful and bright and light and they keep it nicely cleaned

Staff is very kind and caring. The food used to be better. There are good activities but my mother doesn't go to them. They have a lovely movie room but residents hardly go and wgfn my mother went once the movie stoped but there was no one to help her.

Staff is universally friendly and helpful. The food is surprisingly tasty and the chef is quite creative and the menu is constantly changing and seems to quickly react to resident suggestions. Our two bedroom apartment is clean, as comfortable as one could expect. This is an upscale situation and the residents seem comfortable in the downsizing required. Over all, after some three to four weeks only, I am very pleased with our choice.

Oakmont is very clean and friendly. Most of the caregivers are thorough and attentive. Each resident has the same team assigned to them, so the caregivers become familiar with the residents and their needs. When we have had an issue with caregiving, the supervisory staff has been receptive and willing to address it. The food is healthy and tasty. There are daily specials as well as a regular menu with additional choices. There is also a wide range of activities to fit the needs and interests of the residents. The location is a nice bonus as well, since the facility is next to a marina and estuary with a public walking path and benches. My husband has a studio apartment that overlooks the marina. It has good natural light and is cleaned weekly. The bathroom has grab bars and other safety features, and each room has its own heating and air conditioning controls. Overall, we have been happy with Oakmont and appreciate the cleanliness, friendly staff, activities, food, and beautiful location.

The overall experience was fine. We toured the faciltity and our questions were answered. The facility was well maintained.

The working staff is wonderful, but sometimes there is a disconnect between management and the employees helping the patients. Rooms and facility are very good. Activities for the memory care residents is a little light, not many trips outside of the facility, but inside activities are ok. Food variety is good, portions are light. There billing apps to me are useless, not enough details for me. Sending documentation to Insurance companies on a timely basics needs to be addressed.

Overall, we have had a very positive experience. The cleanliness of the facility is exceptional, and the food is consistently good and healthy. The room size is also perfect for my mom. The staff experience can vary. The front desk is always friendly, the dining staff on the first floor are polite, and the activity director is always friendly. Some of the nurses can be less friendly, although I understand that it is not an easy job. Activities are the one area where I think there could be some improvement. My mom does not always know when or where activities are taking place. I have suggested that staff go to her room to let her know, and that has been helpful. She is very active and likes to walk often, so I would also like to see more opportunities for residents who are more mobile to stay active and engaged.
