The staff there were lovely and took great care of him. The food was good. I ate several meals there myself. It was clean and home-like. And the staff were very caring and tried to engage him in activities. We appreciated our time at Ivy Park and believe they took great care of my dad. They also were so kind and welcoming to us, especially during the final days of hospice care. I recommend Ivy Park to friends and colleagues.

The staff are very supportive and are aware of my requests for visiting and are patient with my mom's behavior. I appreciate their care of her. Also, there are multiple activities so she's not sitting all the time. Finally she has made several friends so doesn't feel lonely or abandoned by me. She frequently tells me she is ok and I don't need to visit all the time. She says she is happy there.

Cheerful with nice outdoor patio. Clean new aesthetically pleasing environment. I would recommend it to others. We have had a positive experience.

The place seems very clean. Everyone was nice that we came across. Rooms and outdoor area is great. Very pricey but I assume all assisted living places are. Sales lady we did the tour with was fantastic and very personable.

The community is a good mix of people. Food choices and service issues need to be addressed, specifically hiring, training of staff and meeting dietary requirements as in gluten free options.

Friendly and helpful staff, supportive environment, clean, good food service, occasional changes in staffing that can create inconsistency, currently no hairdresser available, but otherwise very good place for Mom. It's "home" to her and we're thankful she has found community there.

We like the facilities and the staff as well as the food. They just raise the rent [date removed] which made them a 4 not a 5.

The building is very clean. The apartment is very nice. We did have some issues with the quality of the food and I spoke to the corporate office and my parents are happier. Now. There has been a good amount of turnover and that is hard for the community. The activities director was loved, but she had to take a position that paid more and the residents were very sad to see her go. Go. It doesn't sound like activities are back to the level they were at last summer.

We are really impressed with all of the attendants (example, told them that she liked peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and within 15 minutes she had one for her lunch). The rooms are always clean and a very nice size.

Elavator gets busy during peak times of the day. Rooms are clean and well designed. Hand held shower could be closer to the bench for easiler and safer access.

I had been in the facility before and was pleased to see what the new ownership had planned for the facility. I am not ready to make a decision as to where I would like to move. However, Ivy Park is still on my list for consideration,

I worked for a very disciplined boss. He would never give a 100% mark because nothing is perfect. My only negative observation was at lunch and my mom got cold mashed potatoes. Although I made mention and it was fixed. I guess it wasn't a big deal to her because she eats much more food at Ivy than at home and even gained a pound. So overall I give IVY a 4.9. IVY is clean, friendly, helpful. My mom loves it there and loves the staff. She also enjoys all the activities. I feel that IVY is a safe and happy place for my mom. As for the money, it seems like a lot until I figured out the cost to live and care for someone with these unique needs. It took three adults full time and couldn't keep her safe, happy, or healthy. Mom loves the food. Staff is kind and helpful. Hallways smell like urine sometimes. Hard to communicate with staff and management when doctor changes medication rx.

The facility is very clean, calm, and well cared for. The staff are friendly and patient, and they genuinely try to make residents feel comfortable and known. There are regular activities and special Friday outings that give residents something to look forward to. It’s a quieter environment overall, which has been great for my sister. On holidays, staffing seems a bit lighter (which is pretty common), but it’s also much quieter then, and we haven’t had any issues.

The staff was very knowledgeable and polite. The residents were kind as well. I liked rooms though I was slightly concerned with security for the one bedrooms because the doors to enter are outside and not in a hallway.

I felt very welcoming. He is a beautiful property. The person who gave me the tour was very detailed She answered all my questions. This community will be very good for him but at the present time wants a care giver to come in the home for a few days but he is still thinking about. He loves the Ivy Park in Playa del Rey.

Overall, very good. Everyone is great.

Overall, very caring staff. Many different activities sometimes slow response time to button. Food is good but not "5 star"
