Wonderful facility, easy access for residents to the main recreational areas because it is a nice, smaller size than many facilities I have seen. Their prices reflect the staff to resident ratio. Excellent floorplans.

Beautiful facility conveniently located to where my mother lives. However, price was beyond our budget and we settled on a place that wasn't as modern, but more than half the price.

The vibe here is really good. The place seems a little older, almost like it may have been an apartment building at one time. Everyone was friendly, no one seemed unhappy, lots of airy light filled rooms. The usual amenities to keep everyone as busy as they would like to be.

I went on a tour here and it was nice and clean. The person who did the tour was nice answered all of my questions. If you have any memory care issues this place is lovely. But they were behind locked doors and had a prison like atmosphere. The good thing about this community is they had all 3 levels of care and also skilled nursing option if you needed that. I would tell families to tour this community before making a decision.

My dad has an apartment here that is nice and fits his needs. The food is pretty good and they have a nice dining room. This is an older building but so far so good. They have lots of daily activities he can choose from if he wants. The staff and the residents are friendly.The come in 1x a week to clean and the whole community stays clean. It has a nice rose garden on the grounds. I would recommend this community.

It seems that my cousin is doing very well at this facility and she is very happy. The place itself is very clean. She is always doing something, she has her dog there, and she walks her dog all the time. I am very happy with the staff team and with the facility. They also have a beauty shop on site and I make her appointments to when she will get her hair washed. Everything is so clean, neat, and well cared for. From all the places that I’ve seen and looked into this is the best place I can find for her hands down.

My friend lived here for 4 years and it is a nice clean community. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a lot of people in this community and it was a bigger place. It seemed like they were understaffed. They were accommodating to us but we had to move my friend because the price kept going up and they always seemed to add some type of extra charges. I would recommend people to tour this community.

I went on a tour here and it was nice. The staff was helpful and answered all of my questions. They were very professional. It had nice large hallways. I saw little staff around and all the residents were in their rooms with the door shut. I would recommend families tour here before making a decision.

I had to place my husband here in the memory care. I liked the layout and how simple it was. He has improved since being here he is more alert and more active and has started to talk again. He loves going outside and the garden here is a nice size and not to big you can get lost in. The staff is friendly and helpful and has an open relationship with the residents. They acknowledge when any concerns I have come up. He will go down and watch the daily activities it stimulates his mind just by looking.There are plenty of staff around. Housekeeping does a good job of keeping it clean. They have 3 good meals a day with snack in between. It is very welcoming here and I would recommend it.

My Mom is here currently but will be coming home. The staff has been really good and they really do try their best to make sure she’s happy. I’ve eaten there quite a bit and the food is great. They have a lot of options available and it seems to change often. It’s definitely nutritious. They have all kinds of activities that the residents can participate in like trips out on the town, games, and there’s even a monthly calendar they put out that goes more into detail about what they have planned. Everyone was really friendly and helpful where they could be, so my Mom coming home isn’t based on her experience with the community itself. Overall, I would recommend them.

My Father is very happy here and I like that the rent includes everything like his meals. It is less for us to have to worry about and the biggest thing is that he is happy. When we were looking at facilities, we needed something right away and this community was able to accommodate us within 1 week. This was our first and only facility that we looked at because we liked it so much. There are a lot of activities here and my dad is not required to follow them. For activities, they offer things like exercise, watching football, transportation to the mall, as well as transportation to medical appointments. The staff here is great and they treat my dad with respect. They make him feel more at home. I would recommend this community to other families.

I would recommend this location to other families. The staff is absolutely knowledgeable and friendly. They do a good job so far assisting my loved ones. Their cleanliness is good too. Housekeeping helps change out their sheets once a week or when needed and they offer to assist with laundry as well. The food there is fine, my loved ones say that they love the soups that they make and they are happy with it. There menu has one or two options that change daily and if you do not like what is offered you can order off the set menu. They also have activities that the residents can participate in. In their memory care facility they have activities that are specifically tailored for people with dementia and are geared toward their compatibility.

I am interested in showing my mother this property. I liked the memory care area, the property layout, the cafeteria, the overall feel of the place, and that it is a Sunrise property with experienced staff, and Sunrise standards. I will schedule a visit with my mother at some point, but that will require a little planning ahead. I would like to hear [Removed] views on this property. I have spoken with [Removed] doctors. They would like to see her stay where she is for now. If she needs a higher degree of care, then I could move her to a memory care center of my choice. I liked Sunrise VIlla's memory care area, and would be happy to see her there if she were late stage, or later stage. [Removed] is not interested in moving to Salinas now.

My uncle is in this community and he likes it but he is starting to look for other arrangements. This is a community geared to assisted living and he is more independent. It seemed to have the staff and they were knowledgeable about his special diet. It is nice and clean and they fed him good.

The staff was friendly and it was OK. They answered all of my questions. It seemed to sterile in there. And we saw no people walking around. The apartments were nice and we just didn't see much activity going on. They only served 2 meals a day. It just wasn't a good fit.

We chose to move Mom back to Hawaii since that is where she is from as well the majority of our relatives too. From what my Mother has said, she thinks the place is very nice. Of course this is a big change in lifestyle and the staff is doing what they can to help her adjust. My mom is not one to socialize nor participate in a lot of activities. It has only been a month and hopefully she will try to participate in some of the many activities they offer to keep busy.

I toured Sunrise of Claremont while looking at different options for my mother. Overall, it seemed like a nice community. It is a bit older than some of the other places we were looking, the rooms seemed small, and I didn’t like that mealtimes were scheduled. I was hoping to find a community where my mother could take mealtimes when she wished. I also felt that it was a little too busy, as it was close to the freeway. I was hoping for a quieter, more comfortable and homey place for my mother.

Good place all the workers are very friendly.

It is pretty, good. Good food. Good friends. Good staff.
