I am very happy with Sunrise. It seems well managed and quite satisfactory. All of the staff are friendly and remember residents names. They are attentive and fast to respond. There are no activities provided at the moment due to covid restrictions, hopefully that will change soon. I would recommend to others looking and already have.

The community is very clean and neat. I felt very good touring the community and felt comfortable here. The staff is very nice and helpful also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Our loved one was there for just a few months for respite care, but our experience was good. The community was clean, and we thought the staff members and their care services were great. The meals and dining service was good. They did have activities going on. At first since this was our families first experience with a community, the value for cost was sticker shocking, but after looking around we thought it was fine.

I really liked Oakmont of Simi Valley. In the end, I was really torn between them and another facility. Oakmont was a new facility, which I liked. They seemed to be really on top of things. The only thing I didn’t like was during the tour, they were talking directly to my loved one with dementia about moving in, which confused her. She didn’t fully comprehend what was going on and got agitated. At the place that we ended up choosing, they directed that part of the conversation to me, and things went more smoothly. As a newer facility, I felt like maybe Oakmont wasn't as experienced with certain things like that. I also wish that they used itemized billing for care needs. Even though they had multiple tiers for level of care, I felt like you would still end up paying for things you didn't need. But any cons they definitely made up for with the pros, and they were one of our top two choices when it came time to make a decision.

We chose Oakmont of Folsom because she was borderline dementia/Alzheimer's, and other places wanted to move her straight into memory care. But Oakmont was able to have her go into assisted living, which gives her more freedom until things progress. Overall I would recommend this facility to other families who are looking.

Has been very nice experience for us. People are all friendly and helpful.

We let the community know about my loved one's dietary restrictions, and they haven't been able to accommodate these requests consistently. If your loved one doesn't have any restrictions, and is able to eat anything the community serves, the food would probably be a rating of a 5. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. They are a little understaffed sometimes. The community is very clean and new. Their COVID protocols are excellent and it is impressive with no outbreaks. The activities director is amazing! She is warm and incredibly peppy. Due to this my loved one has gotten involved in the activities offered, instead of staying in their room. My loved one is enjoying the social connections and friends they've made, and this has increased their happiness and reduced the anxiety and stress they can feel.

We would recommend this community to others. We had a small problem receiving our invoices for a couple of months through the billing department but that has been squared away.

It's a beautiful stetting, and the staff is nice. I think they're a little understaffed, and for assisted living, they need to train their staff a little better. I think the food is pretty good. It's a farm to fork type of thing. My loved one is less happy with it, just because it's fancier and not the type of food she's used to. She likes more meat and potatoes. With Covid, things are starting to get back to normal. They have happy hours, different entertainment, video touring. They have a lot to offer. It's just a bit expensive.

We chose Oakmont of Brookside mainly because of the proximity to family as well as it was very clean when we toured and everyone was friendly. The room sizes at the facility are large and spacious. We were rushed in our circumstances, so I would tell others to take the time to understand what assisted living is. She moved from out of state so they helped with a lot of different things such as doctors recommendations. I would recommend them to other families looking.

We toured Sunrise and it was a very nice facility. I think it would be a good choice if your loved one needs more care.

The community overall is a nice place and the staff is very friendly. The community is kept neat and clean and my loved one really enjoys the food. They have activities going on in the community and I would recommend this community to others.

Oakmont is a newer facility so ever time we come to visit it is very clean and well maintained. The care will never be as good as it is at home, but the staff there are extremely friendly. The food is good, our loved one has been there for five months now and they have maintained their weight. We have been able to visit recently and last time we were there, there was a live singer playing the piano, and they were having the residents sit outside underneath their nice, shaded and comfortable patio. So far we do think the value is good, and everyone looks to be very well cared for.

The community has good transportation and the community is very clean and they have a good atmosphere and are very friendly. I would like to see an improvement in response time to call buttons. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

Very friendly staff gave me a virtual tour, showing me the outdoor areas, a model apartment, the common areas, and answering all my questions thoroughly. I was impressed with the courtyard, and the apartment. They are undergoing renovations for a couple of years and have discounts available because of that.

We found Oakmont of the Lakes to be very expensive. And nothing looked particularly nicer than other places we considered. My biggest concern was that they were just starting a memory care facility there, so I wasn’t sure if that was going to be very effective for my loved one.

The community is definitely one you should consider for your loved ones. Overall we have had a positive experence. Communication was about average i had to follow up sometimes. I would recommend this community to others

I was overall impressed with the staff but the food was not good. The quality, variety, lack of seasoning is all a big factor in the food being bad. Communication I would recommend this community to others if the food quality changes

The community was an older facility and the cost was higher than others in the area. It did not fit our needs at the time.

We chose Sunrise because they had activities for her and we wanted her to socialize and I also felt the staff would take better care of her. They were good with communication, they kept us updated by email. The rooms that we saw when we toured looked nicer than the one that she actually got. While she was here she did also have some jewelry and valuables go missing. Overall they tried their hardest under the circumstances and I would recommend them to others who are looking.
