Overall, everything has been good. Communication is good. Distribution of medication would be my only slight concern, but nothing terrible. Before moving in, my dad used to be a little cranky, and he's happy now at Summer Breeze. My parents are independent enough and still have their own space, but there' s always assistance there. I don't feel like they were shoved in a corner and left there. The activities are great, and the staff is good at stopping by to remind them to come join in. My parents also love the food there.

We chose Sakura Gardens of Los Angels because it was nearby the other facility that we had put a deposit down on had some construction issues and they helped us find it until it was finished. The facility itself has beautiful surroundings and is very safe and peaceful. The room sizes here are very spacious, they are also furnished it looks like a little house on the inside. I would want others to know so the residents are on the older side but they are very bright and nimble. Also, all of the food here is Japanese. The director and staff members here are very helpful and friendly and I would recommend it.

Our 24-hour awake staff is at hand to assist your loved one in fulfilling time-sensitive needs, should they arise. Staff can engage in monitoring residents' blood sugar to tailor daily pill dosages. The facility offers 2-person assisted transfers, including sitting-to-standing, standing-to-sitting, etc. On-site hospice care is provided. We accept residents with behavioral issues - our staff is specially trained in de-escalating behavioral episodes and our facilities are fully equipped to handle any related occurrences that may arise.

I am a woman in her mid-70's who has been living at OHSL for a year now, initially to recover after the untimely death of my husband. I have been very happy here, with the facility, its location, and my lifestyle. It is a beautiful new building completed 18 months ago, with lots of light, attractive grounds and tasteful furnishings.The staff are, without exception, pleasant, friendly and caring. The food is excellent and varied, with many daily options, including wine and ice cream. There is also medical support for any residents who require mobility or medication assistance. My stay was intended to be short, but I found it easy to settle in, and am reluctant to return to my large and lonely house, especially since the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic in February and it's associated restrictions. By following appropriate guidelines, none of our residents have contracted the virus so far, and the staff continue to work hard to maintain activities and events for us all, until our lives can normalize. I am happy to recommend anyone interested in coming to OHSL, to take a visit.

I think this was the best place for my Father. We was asked to leave by a few facilities because of his dementia and agitation. When I brought him to Senior Care Villa was not sure if the same would happen again, but I was pleasantly surprised how well he adjusted and has a good quality of life at this new home. I am so happy to have found this gem and now I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that he is good hands.

Very nice home environment. The residence all looked very happy and well taken care of. I love the idea that they have a secured garden area where they can stroll and even stroll their pets! Everyone was extremely friendly and you could tell they really cared for their residence.

My mom has been at Pacifica Woodmont for more than two years. She calls it home, which was a huge milestone. The building is clean and well cared for. The private rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Mom likes how kind and friendly the staff are, and I know firsthand that they know her by name and speak to her wherever she happens to be in the building. She has needed a higher level of care recently and the nursing staff is excellent. They make sure she's comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times. We are so grateful to all the staff at Pacifica Woodmont for the excellent, personalized care Mom receives. Five stars!

Caring and professional staff. Beautiful rooms and a warm, welcoming community. Seriously good food. I was impressed with how happy and friendly the residents were. I think that is a true sign of the quality of care and service provided. Management is up to date with the latest in safety and training.

When my brother moved in, Staff, from the front desk, to the dining room and med techs, to the directors have treated him with kindness, understanding and respect. He was assured that its HIS home and they do what they can to make him comfortable. Staff and residents alike have been friendly & accommodating! My brother likes his apartment and says he is treated well! We, his family, appreciate Pacifica!

As with anything, there is a bit of confusion at move in. There was an assessment process to initiate a Care Plan of which they wanted anticipated services paid for in advance. Within a few days, we realized my mom did not need the services that they were anticipating and charging for. After this initial process was settled, things are great. My mom likes the caregivers. Dining options are wonderful and she enjoys the flexibility. The facility is extremely clean and beautiful. My mom is doing much better physically and mentally since moving here. Would recommend.

I toured this property while looking for a place for my Mom. I noticed that it’s a much older facility, but everyone I met that worked there was really nice and all of the residents were pretty active. Everything looked clean, but as mentioned before, it was old so it could use an update. However, I was told that they would be getting new carpet put in soon. The person that took us on the tour was very nice, they were able to answer all of our questions, and they seemed knowledgeable about the type of care that the residents needed. Overall, it wasn’t a bad tour or facility, just wasn’t right for what my Mom needed.

My dad lives here. From what I’ve heard, everything is going good. I like the place and he seems to like it and is quite happy. I haven’t had any complaints regarding the staff but the only one that I’ve spoken to a lot is [Removed] which I believe is the director. But everyone that I’ve talked to has been very nice. The food is good, everything is homemade and most of the time Dad seems happy with it. They try to accommodate you if there’s something on the menu that you don’t like and offer you a different option. However, there doesn’t seem to be a huge variety that you can choose from. The biggest meal that they get is lunch and then they get a light meal for dinner. Everything is very clean and smells very good. Usually when you go into a rest home, you can tell that’s where you’re at, but this place is very nice. Housekeeping changes the bed every week but they make it for him every day and my dad gets help with showering twice a week. That part is something that we have to pay extra for. They don’t offer a lot of activities. They have fitness classes every morning, there are different types of games at certain times of the day or on certain days of the week, but he doesn’t participate that much. Something that I was happy to learn was that they provide furniture for you here, so you don’t have to bring anything with you. Overall, my dad has been happy here and I would recommend them.

He is in the memory care side of this community. The morning staff is fantastic with him. They even take the time out to call me if i need to know anything or if he is running low on something so I don't have to make multiple trips. I'm not sure what's wrong with the afternoon staff I guess I just don't know them. It is clean and kept up. They have a secured patio he can go out on if he wants. I would recommend this community.

The overall property is great and mom has felt so welcomed here. It is a very homey feeling. She loves the people and she's making friends. She loves all the amenities they have to offer. It is beautifully decorated. They have a nice courtyard and garden area. They have a top notch amazing restaurant. They encourage mom to go to the daily activities like craft time. I would recommend this community.

I was so lonely at home by myself since my husband passed away. Now I am around people my age and most of them know exactly what I've gone through. I'm not lonely anymore and have made friends. I get to work in the garden and feed the birds daily.

The people here have been very nice to my mother. She also loves the place and she is constantly talking about how beautiful the outside landscape is an how friendly the new groundsmen are (Im sure she talks to them whenever they are outside working on the grounds). Keep up the good work and thank you for taking great care of my mom.

My dad is doing great in the community. The food tastes good and there is plenty of options. He is getting socialization during meal times and he has visitor that see him often. The community does offer activities for those who want to participate. So far it is good.

My tour of Paintbrush was a good experience. Everyone was very friendly and the place was very nice. It was just a bit more expensive than what we were looking for at the time.
