We chose Pacifica Senior Living Modesto because we had a good experience with one of Pacifica's assisted living facilities. They are very personable, made us feel welcome, and encouraged us to speak with current residents. Pacifica was also really helpful in explaining all the different medical options and answering all of our questions.

The people are wonderful, and the facility is very nice. I would highly recommend. I don't really have issues with them but [name removed] has a difficult dementia, and it's been difficult getting the right meds and such for his care.

The corner studio we selected for my mother is perfect. The former memory care area has been turned into additional rooms with added kitchenette. There has been no complaints regarding the food. Something is always available from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, except during shift changes. If you do not like the special of the day, you can always order off their standard menu. The staff is very accommodating when it comes to ordering food. The staff in general has been very helpful and already seems to know my mother's routines after a few short weeks. Activities are plentiful, however, I think there needs to be a better orientation to the residents to what is available to them.

Cypress Court recently got new owners and the quality of meals has noticeably declined. It was pretty good previously. Cleanliness appears to have improved.

I am still in the process of evaluating, but so far the staff are active and engaging with residents .

I toured Summerfield, looking for a memory care facility for a relative. It came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. The facility was clean and the staff introduced themselves throughout the entire tour. I did find the layout a bit confusing and somewhat outdated. Summerfield would’ve been a strong contender were it not such a distance from my home.

The Garden of Sun city was a clean and friendly establishment. The only problem I had was the night nurse broke my mom's nebulizer bowl for her breathing. It was never replaced. My mom enjoyed her 14-day Respite Care! The activities were very nice!! My mom especially enjoyed Bingo and the live music!

Very nice place ran very nice. Yes, we would recommend Regency Place Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

Staff is great but, because it's a large facility, during busy times one needs to be patience. Lot's of activities. Food is good but, due to having to be neutral in dietary restrictions for everyone, tends to be bland. Room is good. Lot's of choices in size depending on availability. Facility was convenient for me as it was very close by.

We really like this place for mom. We have referred other family members and they like it too. They like the food, the service, the care, and compared to some places, the cost. The building is really old and the pipes leak, but that is the major compliant.

This place is very clean and the people who work there are very attentive to the seniors. My mom says the food is wonderful. There are lots of activities for the seniors. I can say the staff is wonderful. The reason for a grade of four is The med tech services monthly is [amount removed] which I think is a bit excessive for just dispensing prescriptions once a day. I would highly recommend this place. Heck, I would love to live there myself someday.

The staff and caregivers were so kind and invested in the well-being of my mom during her time there. I am very thankful for their kindness.

Overall my mother likes the care she is receiving. She says they are understaffed because of how in demand her caregivers are. Example: My mother uses her pendant to alert a caregiver. They arrive shortly and as soon as they arrive the caregivers beeper is going off because she is needed by another resident. The caregivers beeper continues to go off even though she has stopped it. The facility accommodates a large number of residents. The ratio of caregivers to residents doesn’t seem to be adequate. My mother says the food is delicious and the dining room is nice. She really likes her room, it supplies all of her needs. Overall she enjoys her stay.

All and all they very good sometimes there communication was a little slow like all facilities depending on who's working but I always knew mom was safe and in good hands..

The meals and dining services are improving. I haven't had a lot of interaction with the faculty or staff because he is an independent living but we would recommend Regency Place Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

The staff works very hard to accommodate it's guests. [name removed], & [name removed] do their very best to make family's feel comfortable with their individual situations

Some of the staff are very nice and have been working there for a very long time. But others come and go. They are supposed to have someone awake and on duty in the assisted living area 24/7 but at least once the overnight attendant was found sleeping on a sofa and not responding to calls. They did go through a period when many of the residents and staff were ill, but no one was tested for Covid and no notices went out. Also they are supposed to let you know if your family member or person you serve as POA for has a change in medication or a health complaint of any kind. I've never received such notice and there have been new medications prescribed for my friend. Also, I have sent emails to the executive director three times and called once, but never heard back from her. She was really nice when I first met her and when I went in to sign the lease agreement, etc. but now just does not respond. My emails were not nasty or complaints -- just requests for info re long-term care funded by the state. Just no response at all.

The facility is very clean and pleasant and in a very nice neighborhood. My husband says the food is "pretty good". The staff is very caring and attentive.

The staff knows all residents by name due to the smaller community size. They encourage them to connect with other residents.

The option to be all inclusive is my favorite as well as the area and all the grass. The administrative staff can be rude when you go in to ask a question or get information. They don't greet when you walk in and are short with answering questions. I avoid going in there. [name removed] is the only one who isn't initially rude.
