Somerford Place in Roseville has superior staff that is respectful and kind to the residents, their family and friends. My father (Leon ‘Ray’ Rhea) had attended the day program previously. Now that his memory issues have progressed, he lives in a shared room at Somerford Place, though he currently doesn’t have a roommate. The staff understands memory loss/changes/progression, and work to stimulate the resident appropriately and individually based on their needs. If you have a family member with memory issues, this is a 'peace of mind' place that honors, stimulates, cares for, and loves your family member, like they were their family. They engage the resident 7 days a week in daily activities appropriate to the individual. You will not find your family member sad or alone. Everything from nursing, general hygiene, meals, exercise, activities, mind stimulation, and simple conversations (though sometimes one sided) helps honor and respect the resident. I thank God for Somerford Place for my dad.

My husband is here now and I love it! The nurses and staffing are on top of everything. They communicate greatly with the doctors that are affiliated, with each other and with me. They're very attentive, I find, to all the residents. They know what's going on all the time - I don't know how the do it. I'm very pleased.

We loved it, but it was farther away for me from where I wanted to look. If he were able to go to more independent living I would look into this, I was really impressed with it. It was very upscale, a lot of things to do there and with independent living I think he could have gotten out a little more and the kind of people there were not as debilitated.

I would rate this community a 6. They are just a great community. They really know how to care for my loved one. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly. The food isn't great but when I visit I make sure I bring a bottle of hot sauce if I plan on eating. Overall it is a great community that I am happy my loved one is in.

I am pretty pleased with them A Place for Mom recommended them she has a room share a bathroom but are private room value for what they had to offer. Keep open line of communication lunch with her the food was pretty good impressed they have two entrées per meal. Extremely impressed with the staff they have there. The staff is always present when the residents are eating. They have a really fast response time. Staff knows everybody there. They offer really good activities for the residents. They have people from outside like musicians come in and entertain the residents. The staff is always there supporting the residents and really getting to know them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Beautiful and perfect. Price may be a difficulty if long term placement.

Very nice place! LVN's and RN's on staff 24/7. Also, they will feed the patients, take them around in their wheel chairs, etc. if they cannot move around thereselves. Very carring atmostpher. Nice yard. They BBQ, and have lots of events. Works with Kaiser, and can provide transportation to and from Dr. Appts. I am approx. 5 mins. from the place too.

Very nice place, people very nice and helpful. Gina was great. Lots of activities, good food choices, can have pets, good personnel to resident ratio.

Toured on Monday. Approximately 75 clients in two story building. Food was tasty, low salt and healthy. They have entree choices and a salad bar. Fresh fruit always available. Rooms were a nice size. Particularly impressed with shower unit. There is a foam edge so feet do not have to be lifted over ledge. A chair will easily fit. Lots of activities. Clients seemed very happy. Clean facilities and well maintained. Small frig. and microwave included. Large closet(s). Space to turn around with walker in bathroom. Impressive, concerned about price.

Great place - friendly, lots of activities, good food and some amazing services for a good price. I love that families can come by and eat for free and that they will give you furniture to use, if you need it.

Very wonderful people and the residents seem so happy . Was nice to the see the folks who work here, engaging with the residents and lvoing their jobs! Awesome!

beautiful facility. Staff was real sharp and friendly. Nice kitchen. Residents seemed more active. nice gardens but no one outside. Rooms are large bedroom size and most have patio/garden access.

[name removed] Regency is great .[name removed], [name removed], &[name removed]are great. The staff on the floor & kitchen do a great job . They try very heard to please each request. Mom is a very difficult guest ,but the staff did their very best. The staff is very friendly, and they try very hard to take care of individual needs.

This is a good facility. They take loving care of the residents. The staff is very helpful. Communication is absolutely perfect. They keep me updated on my husband's needs and changes. I couldn't ask for more. I would recommend them to friends and family.

There were two deciding factors on why we chose Ocean Hills - one was the food, we were able to have a meal here and they good was very good, second off the staff members were extremely friendly. On the initial tour the staff knew everybody by name and greeted us all so it really felt like a family environment

Things at Ocean Hills have worked out wonderfully for my mom. They just started up activities and they are interviewing all of the residents so that they can cater the activities towards what the residents wants and desires are.

The staff members are very friendly even though at times they are short staffed.

We got some disturbing news from one of the workers about language and felt that this was not the right place.
