New Perspective Senior Living

My mom needed assisted living when she developed dementia. She's very mobile and enjoys many activities, but her short term memory failure made it difficult for her to manage in her independent living apartment. The Lighthouse is the perfect place for her. She had the amenities and benefits of independent living (even better!) She has a kitchen, living/dining room and bedroom and bath. Best of all - a screened in balcony! All this for less than she would have paid for a bedroom and bath in other places. She has the support she needs, when she needs it, but also has her privacy. The staff are fabulous - caring, friendly. She is happier than I've seen her in quite some time!

This is an excellent retirement center. The communication with the staff has been very good. The food is good as well. The location of the facility and the parking is fine. I would recommend the Keystone Communities of Highland Park to anyone looking for an excellent retirement center. Everything has been going well. I am very pleased with everything.

The experience has gone really well. What I appreciate is Keystone has memory care apartments large enough for two people, because this is a couple that needs to be together. It is working out really well. They are very content. They have a nurse on staff that is knowledgeable and perceptive and has given me guidance on how to handle my loved ones and navigate the paperwork for the insurance company. It has been very, very nice. All the staff I have dealt with are friendly people. They are working hard to meet the new state standards, charting what this couple likes and needs to make their stay here a happy one

My parents have been at Keystone for a few years now and absolutely LOVE it!! They not only rave about the friendly community of residents, but the staff, food, and activities are all exceptional. Every time we walk into the community, we are greeted by all of the wonderful staff members, the congregation of seniors in the lobby, and Judy, the Executive Director, always makes sure to say hi and check in with us. My parents are always busy and out in the community, and I can't stop saying GREAT things about this community. If you have a parent that needs cares, we highly recommend Keystone Communities in Prior Lake, their staff and cares exceed excellence.

Sunrise is well-connected with each new resident and family. I feel I can call anytime with any question and the person at the other end if the phone recognizes me and is always helpful or connects me to the person who can help me. The team approach to caring for each resident is a comforting safety net. There is always someone there who really knows Mom and can assist. The facility is clean, bright and sunny. Our family is very glad to have Mom at Sunrise of Golden Valley.

My brother is really thriving in The Lighthouse of Columbia Heights. It is bright, cheerful and clean with a lot of activites to keep him socially engaged, which is important as he tends to isolate himself. He only been there two weeks but has already lost some excess weight from the balanced meals which he says are delicious, "home-cooked" food.

All caregivers. Are very friendly .the place is clean .they all are tAking good care of my mom.

We're having a huge issue with communicating with the management. There is a lack of communication. We're not hearing updates from the staff as we should. Other than that, it has been a pretty good experience overall.

Very nice, I don't like the $3,000 entrance fee, would rather it be build into the first 15 monthly fee payments. But the facility is great!

I loved this community, when I went a visited it! Everybody was friendly and helpful. When I moved my mother there, after a week she started perking back up and being more cheerful again. While she hasn't participated in any of the activates yet, there are so many options that are available its hard to not give them a try. Everybody there is really nice and the staff really care about the residents that are there. All of the staff are really outgoing and really helpful. I would recommend this community to anybody looking for a community in West Bend.

WOW! What a wonderful, caring community! There is not a better place I would have chosen for my father! He loved everyday he lived at Keystone . The caring, fun staff were so personable, kind and compassionate. They were very dependable and always tended to my father in such a way that my father knew he was a special man up to the day he passed. Family and friends were always welcomed and treated so special as well. "Keystone family", as my family remembers Keystone, has that special feel of home, happiness, and a sense of belonging...for everyone. I can't say enough about our great experience with this community....and kudos to all of the managers....a well managed, clean, and caring community! Thank you, Keystone of Prior Lake!

Its a nice facility and definitely a perfect choice for my loved one. They have tons of activities and food choices through out the day. It a home like atmosphere and their excellent with my loved one. They care for all of them like it was their own family.

Transitioning mom was eased by the love and care of the staff at Keystone. The home is very clean and what a view, right on a lake. The staff take the time to get to know you and understand your cares. Mom loves to play checkers, at times the staff will sit down and enjoy a good game with mom. We love moms new home.

Loved the apartment, the dining choices, the list of activities and the location. Clean building and friendly employees.

We are happy with the place. It's very nice, and the staff is friendly. There aren't any complaints about the quality of the food. There are plenty of activities, and nothing really that needs to be improved or done better at this time.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Keystone Communities! Our loved one has settled in very well here. It is clean, well kept, and the staff are all very friendly.

The staff at Keystone of Highland Park a very professional, caring, and courteous. The facility is very tidy and well maintained, and the apartment units are homey. I will recommend Keystone Communities of HIghland Park to family and friends in the future.

The people at keystone were very caring and accommodating when my father stayed here. The nursing staff and care were good. There were times when medicines had to be adjusted which took a couple of days but it worked out. The food was good- restaurant style. Our dog was allowed to visit. One issue- when an incident happened over the weekend, they couldn't get a hold of the on call doctor to give Tylenol so I had to call around to in- town friends to get him some Tylenol for his minor pain. I kept thinking- what if this had been worse? . .. But overall, very welcoming and many kind friendly staff.

Staff and residence really made Mom feel welcome. This is/was a tough transition to Betty's Harbor Memory Care and the facility is really helpful.

I really like it there, the people, the set up and rooms. It is very clean, they are always cleaning. My mom says the food is tasty but tough. There are lots of activities, and she is getting the feel of the place. They have a doctor that comes in once or twice a month and a lady that comes in a couple times a week to cut hair and give perms.
