New Perspective Senior Living

I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so. They are friendly and care about their residents. It was bright and clean and didn't have a fragrance about it. We liked the bright open spaces with tall ceilings. Made it have a cheery feel

Our family had an in person tour with New Perspective and the community was nice, clean and those I did met were friendly.

My Dad was in the assisted living area-- ask about 1) are they accredited 2) who manages meds and changes in meds 3) who gets him up and helps with meals and bathing 4) are there activities or a schedule of things to do in assisted care (this was lacking at NP in assisted care). 5. What assistive devices do I need to provide? 6. What are visiting hours for family. 7. Covid/infection restrictions? Overall, I was pleased with the care my Dad got. The staff was willing to work with me and with hospice to care for him. His physical needs were met. But even though he had physical limitations his mind was sharp and it would have been nice if there had been activities like cards or bingo for the patients in assisted care...it really wasn't appropriate for them to go to the activities for those residents in the independent living Thank you

Staff are Friendly and attentive. They call you by name. Know your preferences in dining area. Activities are there if you want. Can use my name. OT and PT are in house. There is a small warm water pool.

New Perspective is a beautiful and very clean facility in a really convenient location. The staff and residents were all very friendly and made all of our family feel welcome and at home there. (Care rating of 2 - not their fault. My mom's condition declined quickly, and they weren't able to support her level of care.)

They are short-staffed (but who isn't these days). But the staff is very friendly and tries hard. Many staff have a strong accent, such that my loved one cannot understand them and just nods. Cognitively intact, so it is not that, even with hearing aids in. I don't think this criticism is just with New Perspective. I think it is an older generation issue as well, but it is our loved one's reality, so I thought I would mention it. [name removed], Executive Director, is excellent!!!

We chose New Perspective because of immediate availability and it seemed like it was a nice facility with a lot of amenities to offer. Some of it has not panned out exactly as they said. They have been short on staff but I know that is a worldwide issue. Overall I would recommend this facility to others

The facility was so new and smaller in size. It feels like you are at a beautiful hotel, very impressive. I did not have much time to make a decision and we went for it. I think they are a little short staffed right now and it has been confusing with getting him settled in such as the laundry/meds/showers etc. When they do do those things though, they do it very well. You couldn't find a more loving clean beautiful place for your loved ones. We would recommend depending on the level of care your loved one needs, just make sure to ask questions.

The staff is very friendly, kind, and patient with my mom. They are also trying to encourage her to participate in the activities. Housekeeping is done once a week. Sometimes my mom could use her bathroom cleaned more often. Overall I am pleased and my mom seems to be adjusting and happy here. I would recommend them to family and friends.

They were so very helpful getting mom out of the hospital and into their facility and have been very supportive getting her off the one to one care and keeping the care she needs. My loved one seems happy and cared for, and if we have any issues we can just text [name removed], and she is very receptive. It seems like a really friendly place, and they work with us. Mom needs cataract surgery, and we were able to get a doctor to go in and give her a preop physical. So they really accommodate you there. They really try hard to keep their residents healthy and happy and safe. So very happy with that part of the facility Also we were able to have a birthday party for mom in one of their community rooms and that went very well for a group of I think 15 of us or so.

The experience has been overall very good and the care is great. My frustration is not necessarily their fault, it is just with the meds. They make you go through their company for medications and they were not on network so it costed a lot more. But the care and the price in terms of monthly rent has been great. The staff are really good and always very friendly. She gets insulin 4 times a day and they are prompt with that. She has made some friends and she likes the other residents. The facility itself seems to be clean and it does not smell when you walk in like some other places. I would recommend the facility to others looking, my sister really seems to like it here and that is what really matters.

I toured this facility and it was ok. The staff was friendly and facility was clean. It's just small and not updated. It didn't make a big impression on my loved one, so we decided to look at other places.

My loved one loves it here. The family had some glitches in the beginning; however, they were resolved by the community. I feel the community works to resolve the concerns that the family has over time. New Perspective is doing well with being short staffed, like a lot of companies have nowadays. The food is average here and I believe this could be improved. There are three meals served a day and the residents have choices to choose from. The hot water in the bathroom wasn't working when my loved one moved in and it took quite a while to get this resolved. My loved one has made friends quickly, and the building is gorgeous! The apartment is fabulous for my loved one as well.

I had a very good tour experience with Beachwood Commons and was favorably impressed. The only drawback was the fact that they did not offer memory care, we needed a facility specifically devoted to memory care for my loved one.

I would recommend you check the community out to see if it would a good fit for your loved one. The meals are being delivered to the resident's rooms due to the COVID protocols, currently. The staff communication I believe is pretty good.

Woodland Terrace is a nice facility. We did not find the staff here to be near as helpful as some other places we were in contact with. It was very business-oriented, they just gave us the sales pitch and were not as personable as we would have liked.

For us, it was the only option we had. They have done a good job with my loved one. They were very accommodating, knowing that my loved one had significant health issues they needed to take on.
